Who'd have 'thunk it' that a $10 RCA remote could trump the colorfully glistening - and expensive - Harmony remotes? Both Harmony's I have used spiraled down exactly four weeks after setup, and neither would allow a reboot or self repair. With RCA, I let the remote find its TV frequency, so to speak, and the rest was easy. I can run the Blu-Ray player by myself.....that is, after I broke the spell (and figured it out) of how the absent Harmony remote was still controlling - and locking up - the system. ..In a previous review, I said I'd keep the Harmony. That was, of course, during the initial sweetheart period. Red sky at morning, sailor take warning.

Bought this for my girlfriend who lost the Blu-ray DVD remote. It was easy to program and really good price as well. Directions were fairly easy to follow and the remote works well.

I bought this to replace a remote for a Samsung 23" TV/monitor that had some inoperative buttons. It was easy to program to replace the Samsung. All the original remote menu functions work with the RCA remote. The only minuses are: the buttons have to be pressed firmly to make sure they do their thing; the remote has to be pointed directly at the corner of the TV where the IR receiver on the TV is located. Otherwise for $10 this remote is an excellent bargain.

It's a super cheap all in one.Did what we needed it to for our rental home to make all the other remotes disappear.One remote controls our cable box,tv and blu-ray player.

easy to program but just gotta read carefully, BUT a few times the batteries misaligned and then i have to re program it a lot. hope it doesn't happen often or i will return

Needed a replacement remote and found this one on sale. I'm glad that I bought it because it has many more features than my previous one that came with the TV. Has sleep mode with 10 minute intervals, large volume and channel bars and a back light for use in the dark. Of course can be used with VCR/DVD as well. Well worth the price.

It minimizes all remote controls from my table, perfect size. It works same as the munfature remote controls. I like it and will recommend for families with kids, it's good to have this one because they can replace easily. The price also redonable.

It actually works perfectly with many devices at the same time and it's easy to handle. Buttons are clear and big enough.

Yes, there are a lot of remotes out there that do many things. This one did exactly what I needed it to. I controls the TV, the DVD, and the Roku Streaming player. What more could you ask for? Well, maybe if you could control the cable box AND the Roku - it's one or the other with this unit. And if you had a master power button that you didn't have to select each device manually. Those two alone would give it 5 starts. As it stands, it's a good remote and it gets the job done.

This remote was easy to set up with my tv and use. It has every button that I needed and was a decent price.

For what we needed the remote for (controlling volume)--it works fantastic with our TVs. Super simple to change which TV the remote controls, too. Highly recommend. Also love how there is a backlight to the remote for when we use it at night.

This universal remote control is not too large and yet has nice big buttons when selecting various options. The set up for both my TV and DVD player were very easy. I liked it so much that I bought another for another room in the house-

I bought this device because the kids had lost the Sony remote for the Sony streamer. Since the Sony streamer doesn't have any physical knobs, it was unusable without the remote. This remote was inexpensive, cheaper than an OEM model, and was quick to set up with the provided codes right out of the box. Immediately after set-up we had control over the streaming device again and hello HULU+, VUDU, Amazon and Netflix. I guess the only downside was after purchasing we probably should have bought one that operates even more devices because this one, so far, operates great.

I had placed a small television in storage and decided we could use it in a spare room. Somehow the original remote control became lost and could not be found. This RCA universal remote was very easy to program. After following the directions and locating our manufacturers code in order to link the remote to our television we now have a working remote again. I am very pleased with this purchase. At first I was concerned as the product was an RCA universal remote which led me to believe it would only work with RCA products, however the list of compatible electronics this will work with is considerable and I had no problem finding our units code on the list. Also the backlit keys are a plus, our old remote control did not have this added feature. This is a great buy for the money.

Remote works well and is easily programmed. It runs all my components and was under $10.

I bought this RCA - 3-Device Universal Remote to replace my 17 year old JVC remote. It was surprisingly easy to program. I like the size not too large or small. The lighted keypad is good. It is a great little remote for the price you can't beat it.+

A good product for the money, and it works well on my 20-year old Mitsubishi television. With such an old TV, I didn't want to invest a lot in a new remote. This unit was perfect for my needs.
