After adding this to my phone I was still at 1 bar but of 4G. I still suffer outages, but less frequently. Not a huge improvement but not a huge expense and VERY easy.

Posted .Please know that Reach Antenna is always working to strengthen your signal but you may not always see more “bars” on your phone screen - - so it might not be clear that it is working for you. Often times performance is seen when you have the ability to make and hold calls in areas where you were previously unable to. You may also see better battery life because the phone isn’t having to work as hard to find and hold a signal. The reason for this is due to what it takes to show a “bar” on your phone. Your signal strength is measured in dB’s, and with the logarithmic (non linear) dB scale you can have a 2 dB improvement (which gives you a 1.5x signal improvement) while still not having the phone show an extra “bar”.
It is also important to know that we designed our Reach Antennas to be used (1) with a case and (2) also when held in your hand so how you are using it and what case you have are factors in performance. Reach Antenna is always working to strengthen your signal, but it is important to know that doesn’t always translate into “bars” on your screen so you may not always realize what it is doing for your phone. To get a bit technical, your phone’s signal strength is measured in dB’s, and with the logarithmic (non linear) dB scale you can have a 2 dB improvement (which gives you a 1.5x signal improvement) while still not having the phone show an extra “bar”. This may make it look like nothing is happening when actually quite a bit is happening for your signal. Often times performance is seen when you have the ability to make and hold calls in areas where you were previously unable to.
