Customers are enthusiastic about Redfall's gameplay, frequently citing it as fun and entertaining, and praising the game's atmosphere. However, many feel the game's price is too high for what it offers. The cost is a significant point of contention among players.

I heard the game finally has 60fps but everything is still not good I got it at $10 only for collection sakes. But when I think about it i don’t know why still.

Game has serious technical issues, requires you to be constantly online eben if you’re playing single player and the shooting and encounters with enemies feel tedious, even for $10 I thought it was a ripoff, already turned around and sold it

This is what happens when a game developer is forced (and rushed) into making something that is way out of their comfort zone and when developers start to view games as long, drawn out paid services. Arkane went from amazing titles such as Dishonored and Prey, to unremarkable Deathloop... to this.
Graphically the game is a huge step back. It's 2023 and this game cannot achieve 60fps in an era which most people have 4k tv's and a series x or playstation 5. Any person that plays modern video games knows that 99% of games have various graphics/performance settings to choose from. Except Redfall.
The overall gunplay feels weak, the audio leaves much to be desired, I was having some connectivity issues. Also, there is single player but the main draw of this game is to play in co op. Your chapter progress does not carry over into your game, unless you're hosting the session (all of your loot and level do, except level progress)
The foundation for something amazing is here, but as always we will have to wait for more patches and post release support. It's sad that it's come down to this, but I guess that's just how it is.

Not a good week for Microsoft!

First the Activision deal implodes, and now this. The acquisition of Bethesda was supposed to be a good thing. Redfall has put a huge tarnish on that idea, right out of the gate.
Aside from the bugs and frame rate, which was the well-known issues, even before launch, the gameplay itself is just terrible. Garbage AI, a mess of a combat and inventory system, little to no story (unless you consider the picture pages slideshow of cut scenes and reading notes everywhere an actual story).
The game feels like it was completely rushed, and it's like they gave the interns a project to prove their worth. No way a reputable developer should have produced something this bad.
The $70 price tag is the ultimate slap in the face, also.

Games amazing so much to offer. Had few crashes, there was times were group of AI spawned out of know where, and wish the game launched with 60 fps but well have to wait another 2 month until they increase performance. Overall this games open world with tons of side quest helping people, hauntinf down vampires, vampire dumgeons, vampire lairs, and way more.

This game had a rough launch but it has been updated since then and after update #3, I am enjoying it! All it needs now is matchmaking and a few more NPC characters around town. For the current price this is a no brainer unless you have Gamepass. Give this thing a spin and see for yourself. Arkane managed to give this an old fashioned creepy vibe but added a modern accent. Hope they keep updating it.

Worst Game in 2023! Don't Bother!

This game is terrible. The graphics look like PS3/360 era. It’s extremely buggy. The vampires are easy to kill, but then they give you many humans to fight off at once. This would be much easier with more than one player. If you die, they send you clear back to your latest safehouse even though you traveled far to go toward an objective. I’m glad this was essentially free on Game Pass. I wouldn’t have bought it otherwise. I can’t recommend it and I would never play it again. Worst game in 2023 so far!

30 FPS works fine with my series X, and I have had no bug issues yet. The background looks more like a painting than what I had expected with a next gen game. Not five stars by any means, but more like 3.5. Hopefully, Arkane will provide meaningful patches as the game concept is quite entertaining.

Just started playing game about 1 week ago, purchased game on sale. Ever since me and family cannot stop playing Redfall. The graphics are awesome at 60fps, every update has only made this game better, we are hooked and ready for the hero update next year to add more characters. The game is so awesome we had to purchase the bite back edition for $30, we definitely recommend this game as a must purchase. Way to come back Arkane with the updates and make this one of the best games we played in 2023.

its a good GamePass game but not worth $70 price tag in its current state… fighting vampires is fun, cultists not so much.. hopefully patches are incoming
