Customers value the K552-2 Kumara keyboard's solid build quality, attractive price point, and ease of setup. Many appreciate the backlighting and compact size, finding it ideal for their needs. However, some users found the blue switches noisy, and others missed the absence of a number pad. Overall, the positive feedback on build quality and price outweighs the negative comments regarding the switches and lack of a number pad.

This keyboard is a great keyboard for the price, coming from someone who daily’s a Corsair keyboard with genuine Cherry Mx Red switches. Since these are ‘Mx blue’ style switches they are going to be loud, if you don’t want a loud keyboard don’t buy this keyboard; however that being said the build quality and included red back light are great. The only complaint I have is a slight pinging noise when you bottom out the key switch, I can’t tell if it is the switch itself or the consequence of a metal backplate used for reinforcement. Overall 9/10 keyboard if you are just getting into mechanical keyboards the price is great and you hot swap other 3 pin (Otemu) switches if you want to try a new switch type.

Great keyboard. Love the aesthetic. My son loves the lights and how easy it is to type on it. I love that it's not expensive but great quality. It also does not take up a lot of desk space.

I had been looking at the K552-2 for a few months prior to purchase because I needed a small footprint keyboard that had back lighting. That being said, I am quite pleased with my purchase. Overall, it is a solid, well built unit which looks like it can withstand heavy gaming. My usage of the keyboard will, however, be more towards business and programming applications. The only possible issues with the keyboard are that it is not RGB and it is quite loud when typing on it. The aforementioned are non issues for me because I was aware of this going in. And given the fact that I just needed a good backlit keyboard -- and I am single -- so no one else is around to hear the keyboard noise -- again does not make the K552-2 a problem.

Great 87 key keyboard so far. I had the RGB model version of this keyboard an it also was great. This one is only Red RGB but can still do different patterns in Red RGB. Sounds nice clicking sound keys. No issues so far. Very good keyboard for price.

For the price it's pretty decent, the keys are very loud and clicky if you like that sort of thing. It's a ten key less board to you lose the number pad but for gaming it isn't really important. It's has red backlighting with multiple mode that requires a key sequence to change. It's a great budget keyboard.

I am really impressed with this little keyboard. The price is very reasonable, the key action is good. I'm used to mechanical keyboards on my gaming computer, this one is for my work computer. Nice and compact, backlit keys. Very pleased so far

Price is so cheap. You may be hesitant to go with this keyboard because it is not a well known brand, but it performs very well. I also like it smaller design, due to it not taking up very much space on my desk like other keyboards.

Got for 30$ super satisfying click for a budget Mechanical keyboard, tasteful RGB that unfortunately is only red, changeable pattern by pressing FN and small keypad on right.
Compact saving space on your desk by cutting off the keypad, not necessary for gaming.
Comes with 4 replacement switches and key cap remover.
Absolutely fantastic keyboard.

I bought this as a backup or to let a family member use. But it is sitting on my desk and I am typing this review on it, because I liked it that much. It's subjective and a subtle thing to try to explain the typing experience. It's just a bit quieter and feels a bit different than my previous keyboard, which also had tacticle blue switches of a different brand. I really like typing on this one, I like the noise this space bar makes which is a lot different than the high pitched stabilizer rattle on my other board. While limited to one lighting color, I was surprised that this even had different lighting modes and some of them are pretty cool. I guess it comes down to that I must be a fan of the Outemu brand switches that I believe these boards use. Very enjoyable to type on. As long as the switches last, I am happy. But this even came with 4 spare switches. And a sticker. I had no expectations for this board and again I wasn't even planning to use it myself. Even though my other keyboard has full RGB and a few other benefits, I let my family member have that one for now and I am using this. One downside is that there is a little raised lip all around the frame that will make this a little harder to clean. If it weren't for that lip, dust and dirt could be blown right out as the keys/switches aren't recessed in a housing, which is how I prefer. But since there's this little raised edge all the way around the board, it will take more effort to clean. Also I can hardly tell which materials are used throughout, whether metal or plastic, but the board is completely stable and solid, no creaks or movement. Of course longevity will be important, but as of right now, I am totally surprised. Great way to try out a mechnical keyboard for anybody starting out, and if you already know about mechs, there's no reason to think this will be junk. Again what more can I say except I started using this one instead of my other board that cost 3x.

I was highly surprised after installing and using this one. It's not often I get excited about a keyboard, but as someone who has been using computers since the mid-80s (yes I'm older), this was a pleasant surprise. It simply has the best of everything, I wouldn't ask for any changes: very small footprint, awesome illuminated keys, very excellent tactile mechanical keys, and heavy constructions so it doesn't move around the desk. In fact it's so good that I'm going to buy a couple more and keep them in reserve for when this one wears out in a couple years in case they're no longer available. Highly recommended, I really think this is the best keyboard I've seen in the last 20 years, as good as the old US-made IBM PS/2 style keyboards, which were tanks and known for stunning build quality. Overall, A+
