Wife tells me it works well, and has had other Remington's in the past. Prefers it over the CHI and other higher priced brand names due to its durability. One downside is the width of the iron, which is larger than most. May not be the best traveling iron, but definitely worth taking if you have the room in your luggage.

I was a little hesitant about buying this flat iron but decided to take a chance on it. The product is much better than I thought it would be. I was concerned when I took it out of it's package because it was so light weight. I already had a flat iron that was light weight and didn't like it. I have thick hair and I don't like having to press the two side together so hard. I really liked the control settings on this.

I got this for her since she is always bugging ,e that she wanted to replace her previous one. Turns out that she says it works better than any other she has ever had. You can see the temperature your applying to the hair and it prevents burning it. Has digital display to see the temp.

This straightener is wonderful for any type hair. Mine is frizzy and fine but it works well without burning or overheating. Love it.

I have thick wavy hair so it's hard to find a straightner that actually straightens my hair... this product does! It also does it in fraction of the time of my old one did. Very happy with this purchase
