Takes clear pictures but the picture and videosettings require tweaking before use. We used it as is out of the box and the batteries were dead after about 24 hours. The camera has it’s own wifi so you can’t connect it to an existing wifi network, which was disappointing. If you go in with these expectations then it is a decent trail cam.

I use this on a tree in my backyard to see what is stirring in the night. The battery life is pretty good (lots of AAs...) especially now that warmer weather has arrived. The batteries died in about a week in the dead of winter. Now they're going on about 3 or 4 weeks and still running. The images are decent, especially the night vision with the IR illumination. My only complaint would be the minimum lapsed time before taking a picture is 5 seconds and i often have pictures of nothing, as the animal quickly ran past the camera

Complete waste of money. Takes great photo and video but getting them off the camera is difficult if not impossible. Getting the camera to connect to your phone takes multiple attempts, downloading is slow. The first few times it downloaded to my phone ok, now for some reason the photos never appear on my phone after multiple download attempts. It also blows through batteries every couple weeks or so, which is pretty expensive since it takes 8 AA batteries. I’m done - this expensive piece of equipment will now be collecting dust on the shelf...just not worth it. Rexing also doesn’t have an app of their own for the trail cam. The Rexing apps are for the dash cams only.

Got this camera for my son, and was expecting to be able to connect wirelessly but have been unable to successfully do this through their garbage app. Otherwise the pictures and videos that have been taken at home look good! Does not come with an SD card or batteries so that is a bummer. Will update once we install it in his grandparents wooded area.

The adjustable setting is really nice. You really need to buy your own SD card, and then it works great. The photos come out great, and the night vision works really well. Although it was a bit on the pricer side, the quality of the product definitely is worth it when compared to another one I used before off amazon. Would recommend this over any other product on the market.

After a bad experience with another trail camera, I've been glad the Rexing H2 has a wifi feature that works and a very good image quality. My only concern is that the viewing angle is a bit smaller than I expected, so I can only capture part of what I wanted.

Overall the camera is as advertised. Good picture quality, Infared works well, durable. This camera is more advanced that others. Highly recommend two sets of rechargeable batteries, otherwise you will go through a lot of batteries. One on the charger while the others are in use. The biggest recommendation to the manufacturer is to produce their own setup video instead of relying on one made by someone else on you tube. A video with more detail. Looking forward to warmer weather to see even more wildlife!

This trail cam would get another star if the manual and app experience were improved. It took far too long to figure out which app was the correct app to connect to the Wifi in the camera. Connecting to Wifi was one of the main differentiating features of this camera and the instructions for using it were buried in the manual and trial and error. Now I have to plan to be perpetually on tech support every time my Dad wants to download pictures and video.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas and we’ve both really enjoyed it. Super clear photos and videos, the sensors give it a large field of view and it’s easy to use. The WiFi feature is a little difficult to get set up, otherwise it’s a great trail cam. I would recommend it!

Christmas present for my husband and I think it was his favorite. We haven't used it yet, but look forward to sharing more when deer season begins. I did not rate the ease of use because we haven't seen it in full swing yet.

There is a learning curve, but if you are familiar with the basic remote controls for TVs and streaming devices it will be fairly intuitive. Getting the Wi-Fi to work was the biggest challenge but once figured out, made sense. The pictures at night are clear and the sensors are very sensitive and picks up the movements quickly. This is my first Trail Camera so I don't have any comparison. But it seems like a high quality product.

Very satisfied with this hunting camera. The videos recorded are 4 k and very high resolution. The pictures are also very clear. So many useful features such as wifi connection and Infrared night vision. So I can viewed the content from my phone. I just need to put a SD card in it and ready to go. The good thing about this camera is that they are water resistant.

This is much better than my slightly older webcam, both in video quality and in how quickly it starts recording after detecting motion. I'm sure it isn't the best on the market or even close to it, but I'm also sure I wouldn't want to pay any more for a camera, so I'm happy. My only complaints are that the on/off switch is very small and on the bottom where you can't see the labels, and it takes a microSD card instead of a regular SD card and it's so small that it's hard to handle and I'm always worried I'm going to drop it and lose it in the forest floor!

The camera works nicely. The picture is good quality. I really like the option of setting the time of day to record. I do not like the app. You cannot review the recordings without downloading them to your phone which takes forever. The printed time and day is so small you cannot even read it with a magnifying glass. I have another field cam with a much better app. You can easily see when a recording was done and if anything is of interest to download. If the app was improved I would rate it better.

Hi! Thank you for your review!

Try putting your phone on airplane mode first and then connect to the app. That should allow you to play the videos back on the app without having to download them. rexingusa

The wifi on this device was the key selling feature. However, the applications for both Android and IOS felt like they were built a decade ago and never updated. Neither successfully connected to the camera, nor did the camera successfully connect to the wifi.

Camera quality is really good, worth the price I paid for. Ever since I moved to Vermont, I like to watch wildlife in my backyard which is basically a forest. I’ve seen deer a few times, raccoons, squirrels, and once even a badger. It was really easy for me to set up on top of that, and the wifi to phone is pretty good. The only real downside was that you had to tweak the settings a bit here and there to get it working very well like it does for me.
