The motion sensors turns on/activates several times a day and in as many times during the night. I have no way of knowing what is moving around the house because for some odd reason I cannot see the video when it happens. I already have a Ring account, and I am paying for the yearly server space. And yet, somehow I cannot add a second device that account. Strange isn’t it? After the long rant, a few positives, the picture quality is fine even though sometimes it freezes in a strange manner, the lights can be turned on remotely. That’s a nice feature. But the lights are not activated by the motion sensor. And that is just strange.

I was skeptical of installing this myself but it was honestly no problem! The camera quality is good (normal ring quality) but the flood light exceeded all expectations. I'll be buying another for my garage.

Quality and sound is outstanding. Even though it said wireless, it was not wireless and required an electrician to install.

For refurbished, this looked like new to me. It is an easy device to mount on an existing electrical outdoor box. Lights are pretty bright. The motion setting area for alerts is not the same as motion for the lights. I think that there should be a way to mesh it up so lights aremt working from passive motion but from what motion camera picks up. All in all, pretty good deal if youre gonna get ring subscription.

I bought this refurbished and it's working just like the new one I bought .... These devices can help secure your property... That's why I bought them... If you feel the need to do the same ... I don't think you can go wrong with these for the outside... Plus at $9.99 for the security and the video service... I believe it's one of the best bargains you can find... Peace

This is amazing! We had a junky flood light over our garage and it didn't work half the time. After looking into nicer flood lights I found this for a price close to that of a nicer flood light. I was initially worried about the distance and the camera picture quality but wow it is clear and picks up everything. I did have to adjust the sensitivity since it would pick up cats walking around our house at 2AM lol. Great camera and the light is very bright, even at about 65ft off the ground. Highly recommended.

Camera works really well but light is way too sensitive. I adjusted to almost minimal setting but still picks up cars on road 120 feet away. Cant adjust the sensor angle any further away.

Has been a great product. Nice bright lights and camera quality. One did die after a few months, but ring replaced it easily.

Ring floodlight cam - easy to install in existing box. The image quality is very good, and the ease of customization in the Ring app makes adjusting the motion detection area very simple. The unit appears to be high quality and hasn't had any issues over the 2.5 months of use. Be aware you need to make sure it's connected to a source with constant power, otherwise there is a lag when you switch on the unit.

I really enjoy having this floodlight camera, it guves me piece of mind being able to see whats going on outside of my home. I placed it outside overlooking my driveway; this has a great wide view angle, a super clear picture, and a great motion sensor. I haven't had any problem, and installation was simple, all I needed was a latter and a screwdriver. I am planning on buying another one for my back yard very soon.
