We were getting Ring alerts every time a car or any vehicle passed buy the house. Ordered the wedge kit at a comparable price and it arrived in a few days. Picked it up and came home to install it. Tried one wedge less alerts but still enough to be annoying. Tried adjusting but had to install second wedge of the three. Much better!

The wedge has helped in the amount of false alarms due to automobile traffic in front of my home. Very easy to install, just make sure you have a few extra long screws when re-mounting.

I now own a worthless $20 piece of plastic. The holes don’t match up for the doorbell.

My Ring doorbell was constantly alerting me to movement outside. The Ring bell needed to be adjusted so I ordered the Ring wedge kit. The kit was easy to install and I went from over 100 alerts a day to less than 15. The Ring wedge fixed my problem. I would have given it 5 stars but paying $20 for two pieces of plastic is ridiculous. Shame on Ring for overcharging for these pieces of plastic.

Front door ring camera needed tilted down so didn't pick up all road traffic. This works great, slight level with one or more with all pieces.

The wedge comes with 3 pieces that allow you to change the angle incrementally. It solved my issues with road motion. No false motion notifications since I installed this. As with other Ring products this came with all the necessary hardware.

Product did as prescribed. I had to add another wedge after the first one was not enough. I wish they had a better explanation in the guide as to how many wedges. We have about 8 steps up to the front and this was a must have.

Should have been included with the door bell but if you need to angle your ring this is it. Easy to install and does the job

Easily painted to match my house colors. Easy to install and a must have to eliminate traffic (motion) alerts. A little pricey for such a simple item.

I bought this after installing my ring doorbell 2 because I wanted my steps in full view so I can see if packages are delivered. It also cuts down on the false alerts due to cars driving by. My only real complaint is that I had to drill 2 additional holes because they don’t attach the same way the doorbell it self does so the original 4 drilled holes are now completely useless. Also, Like another reviewer mentioned I too kind of feel this is a bit expensive just for plastic. These should be half the price.

So my ring was picking up road trafic too much. I ordered the wedge (the kit includes 3 peices so you can adjust it well). It eleviated almost all of the traffic issues, some bright headlights at night will still triger it. Overall, good fix.

The Ring video doorbell wedge kit was easy to install and does what we wanted it to do. We have an elevated approach to our house and we were getting “false mitt” from street traffic. The wedge corrected the angle and we no longer get notified when someone drives up our street.

if your ring is pointed to the street and cars going buy constantly triggers it, then this is a must. Easy to install and points your ring more towards the ground. Easy solution, wish it were a little cheaper but it is what it is

Easy to install. It's paintable. Expensive but does the job well.

Bought the Ring Video Doorbell 1st generation over a year ago and had a problem with it picking up motion of cars driving by, which also caused a problem with the battery life. Decide to buy the wedge kit and it helped dramatically, No longer pick up motion form cars driving by and the battery last about 6 weeks before I have to recharge it.

In certain mounting scenarios, these wedges are almost a must have unless you can manufacture another way to mount them. The three wedge kit also comes with all necessary hardware.

I love all of my Ring products, but this had the worst instructions. It should have taken 2 min to set up, but the instructions need improvement. The wedge is great if you have steps near it as it cuts out false notifications.

My ring camera faces a street and would constantly send notifications to me. When ring added person detection technology, it cut down on my notifications, but still recorded every car that went by. Which was a battery killer. After i installed this wedge, it now only picks up people just off the street on the sidewalk and, of course, all the way up to my door. Works exaxtly like you would want it to, thanks to the wedge! What are you waiting for? Buy it already.
