The Ring Video Doorbell 4 seems easier to set up than my previous 3 and 2nd generation. The battery life and picture quality are better. You can set it up to be activated if the sensors or the alarm is triggered. works with Amazon for home deliveries. I have one in the garage to work with garage deliveries. It has a Smart response which lets you set up a quick reply like an answering machine. You can listen to the message in real time.

This camera has very good audio and visual recording, the microphone also works very well, and its usage with the ring app makes it extremely helpful to answer the doorbell when I’m not home. The camera also works well in the dark and even with low internet connection. If you have a problem with package stealers I highly recommend you buy this camera as it also sends alerts to your phone when there’s any movement at your front door. Highly recommend!

Ability to adjust motion sensitivity and set up multiple zones to include/exclude motion areas is critical to managing how many alerts you get on your phone. On one of the photos there is a car driving by my house. On maximum sensitivity, I was getting alerts for EVERY car that drove by. Easy to install, easy to operate. NOTE that the Ring 4 is quite a bit larger than previous versions. Battery performance has been better than I expected.

Easy to install and set up on the Ring app! I was also able to quickly connect my home's Alexa devices to indicate when there's someone at the door. Very happy with this purchase!

Love the fact that I can interact with whoever is on the other side from wherever I am, it also came with the angle accessory to set the camera. The setup was super easy and the installation is very simple and minimal. After setting up your Ring you unlock the discounts with them and something that is very good is that if your camera gets stolen you get a new one with a report!

Bought my peephole camera over a year ago and it’s still working great wouldn’t trade it for anything else even though it’s a bit old model it works fine and continues to give me satisfaction

We are enjoying the Ring 4 doorbell. We upgraded from the 1st Rig doorbell. It has enhanced clarity and we enjoy a lot of the new features. This is our 5th ring product and we are very happy with it, I am sure we will get more in the future.

This doorbell will overall satisfy the needs for most secured minded individuals and in my opinion its most controversial feature concerning having your local police having access to your camara for investigations is highlighted as a major negative in reviews over personal privacy concerns. The fact that you can opt-out of that and give them access, makes this not as a big deal as some would claim, that feature and having access to a network of your neighbor’s doorbells that you can communicate with to assist or get help for criminal activities makes this device a cut above the rest. THE BAD: Pre-roll capture video playback does not work sometimes, but this is rare. Doorbell has disconnected for no reason 3 times with my 1 month and 14 days of ownership with the only options of rebooting the router or taking out the battery to reconnect. This occurrence is isolated to the doorbell since I had no issues with other connected devices during the times the doorbell went offline. Sometimes when access the Ring app video will not show up under camera, you must close the app and reopen it to fix this. Subscription service is needed to store videos on online s (cloud) $3 per month for a single camera; $10 for multiple cameras. THE GOOD: So far battery life is at 37% after almost 2 months. Good video resolution with 1080p camera with a 160-degree field of view, two-way audio that connects to your smartphone, Amazon smart display, and even your smart TV. Extra features like Quick Replies that lets people leave a message at doorbell, pre-roll recording that gives you a few seconds of video from before event), being able to set up motion zones in particular area and dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz). Seamless communication with neighbors and police dept also communicates on network with alerts and warnings. Easy setup and operation with app.

I loved the ring I purchased so much I had purchase a separate one for my back door. I can’t get over how much I’ve been missing out these last few years not investing sooner.

Working well so far. Lives up to the promise! Would buy again and recommend. Just wished the monthly plan was a little lower in price.

I'd previously owned the Ring doorbell Pro and it was mediocre at best. I left it when I sold my last home. Wanting the ability to view the front door from my Echo Shows (the best!! "Alexa, show me the side door"-boom! there it is!) I decided to give Ring try. I'm extremely happy with this unit. I get real time alerts--as in I hear the delivery truck and then almost immediately the ring. Images are clear (especially given the tunnel like location- see pics, audio is excellent, and I love the new color- pre roll. Will likely purchase another to replace an older Skybell that I'd far preferred to the Ring- up until now.

The doorbell camera is an essential part of my day to day life and functions primarily as it should. However, it works when it likes. Sometimes the notifications and recorded events include people driving by that is not of significance, but it will exclude someone driving into my driveway and or walking in front of the door. I feel people being that close to my home is of utmost importance. There are days that the camera will capture a random delivery truck or car as “person”, but again will miss a delivery to the door or an uninvited guest. I also am not a fan of the subscription focus and cloud based programs. I wish the device could have more recording options besides a selective time frame after an alert, as often important events can be missed when an insignificant event occurs prior. It also has some quality in issues such as the image pixelation or losses in connectivity. The technology has ways to go, but it at least provides an overall desired function.

Very easy to install if you have an existing electric doorbell. ( two wires connected to your old doorbell). Has very clear video and audio. Many different options in settings. Works with Alexa and other Ring cameras. Highly recommended.

Popular brand. For less than $850.00 my home is now protected by an outdoor camera spotlight, 3 stick-up cameras, spare battery, side door series 1 doorbell, Top-of-the-line front doorbell series four and plug-in chime and Wi-Fi extender!

We were replacing an original model which still works, but we wanted to upgrade. It was simple to swap out and place the older one at our back door. The clarity is excellent, and it performs all features flawlessly. We can recommend this model without hesitation.

Nice and easy to install wireless. I like its responsiveness to movement. Its big compare to the other models, but the camara coverage is amazing.
