Rio has a little bit of everything in it. Great visuals, good voice acting, and a good soundtrack. There's not much to knock in this movie. It's pretty solid in plot and direction. Probably one of the best animations over the last 6-7 years. It has a lot of well known voices and great animation. Well worth a purchase.

Rio is a must have for infants to toddlers and up. Rio has fun beautiful music, eye catching colors, upbeat and fun. My 8 month Grandson loves the colors and music. Dances and talks to movie. Not fond of kids watching a lot of TV, but if you must, this is the one movie you need. Great for boys or girls.

Bought this movie for my nephews as a gift. I wanted to watch the movie first to make sure that it was kid appropriate as now a days some children movies are not really "G" rated. I thought the movie was good. Just one part of the movie concerned me but overall it was good. Nice movie to sit down and watch with the whole family.

If you haven't seen this DVD, you're missing a fun experience. If, like my family, and you have seen it, you'll enjoy the opportunity to watch it again and again. I got it for my Granddaughter, but the whole family is engaged.

Macaw! This movie was actually inspired by a blue Spix's macaw, a bird name Presley, that passed away at the age of 40. I find it enjoyable to do some background research on a movie to see why it was created. Then, while watching it, you have a little more appreciation for the movie. A very delightful movie!

This is a great movie for the whole family. Before you know it your teens are putting down the phone and watching too . Even if they say they aren’t . It shows different relationships with animals a people. And what they are willing to do to stay together . Funny and lovable.

The wife tossed this in the cart as we were checking out. She fell for one of those checkout line specials. Only being less than $10 it wasn't worth the hassle of saying not today. When we got home she put it on and surprisingly it was worth it. It's a great movie for all.

This is a great movie with a lot of truth to it. The Spix Macaw is an extremely endangered bird that this movie is based on. The movie animates the reality of the bird trade and how far people will go to make a dollar without caring about the damage they are doing.

I would recommend this movie as an excellent family movie that's both funny and entertaining for all ages, from babies to adults. It's also an excellent movie that can be used to check the quality, clarity, brightness and sound for your TV and home theater system.

My 5 year old granddaughter had us watch over and over again and we enjoyed it each time. The musical numbers had us all up dancing in the living room to the salsa beat and singing along. Animation is excellent , characters are both funny and lovable. Great movie for whole family!

I've lived in Rio de Janeiro and watching this brings me back to the marvelous city (Rio de Janeiro is actually called Cidade Maravilhosa) Movie is actually accurate, the Carnival in Sambodromo, the playa at Copacabana, the Cariocas. Very good movie. I could watch it a million times.

This movie is awesome! I love that I was able to pick up a copy in the cheap bin! Such an amazing find, this movie is from the creators of Ice Age and is full of cute animations and fun music both my son and daughter enjoyed many times!

Rio is a cute children's movie but aren't we all children at heart. I enjoy watching these movies even as an adult and maybe more so because I understand it now fully.

A terrific film for the whole family. Top notch animation with great 3d effects and an incredible use of color. The story line had a positive environmental message and was well acted by the cast. The great musical score is an extra added bonus. Lots of Fun!

Can't wait for rio 2 it's gonna be awesome. This rio was hilarious. It's also a great deal. This one is funny for adults and children. Buy this movie, you can watch it over and over. I like this movie. It's good! My wife loves this movie too. I like it also.

I know this is a child's movie but I enjoy watching it with the kids.

I absolutely loved this movie, as did my family. We ordered the 3d version for our home television and fell in love all over again. The colors are wonderful ! This is such a beautiful movie. It took weeks to receive this order and I was so disappointed by this!

This movie is adorable, as well as hilarious. Jesse Eisenberg is great as Blu, giving him an instantly recognizable personality. Jemaine Clement is absolutely the highlight of the film as Nigel, the evil cockatoo. We have watched it several times.

Watched this 3D feature with the grandkids. Everyone was fully entertained by the storyline, the music and especially the great 3D viewing. We will be pulling this one from our inventory and watching again and again. Great family entertainment.

This movie was not only funny but very entertaining!! The actors playing the characters did a great job and fit the characters well. Movie graphics are great as well. You don't have to be a child or have kids to enjoy this movie. Great for all ages!
