There was some confusion on size of bird it can roast. Box says up to 22 lbs but a 19 1/2 lb turkey just fit. Bottom 1/2 of turkey browned nicely but top did not brown, too close to sides and lid maybe? I roasted a whole chicken and it browned nicely.

The best way to brown a turkey is to baste the whole turkey in butter before placing in roaster oven. Continue to baste the top of the turkey every half our while it is cooking.

Huge cooker

I put three slabs of ribs in this roaster they got so tender and then I smoked the ribs. The roaster got all the fat out and it's easy to clean. You could cook two whole chickens in this thing too.

Great for big gatherings

I bought it for ribs, but use it for just about any meal. We work and do not eat ready prepared food. This is fast and easy without heating up the house.

My Roaster

I have used it and I was very disappointed that there is stains from roasting in it one time. I have tried dozens of times to get them out, but they do not come out.
