The ROCCAT Pro Air mouse offers an impressive wireless gaming experience. Its lightweight design and customizable features make it suitable for various gaming preferences. The Owl-Eye sensor provides accurate tracking, and the low-latency wireless connection ensures responsive gameplay. The customizable RGB lighting adds a stylish touch. However, some users may find the shape less ergonomic compared to other gaming mice on the market. Overall, the ROCCAT Pro Air is a solid choice for gamers seeking a wireless mouse with reliable performance and customization options.

A bad "gaming" mouse... unless you need it

This mouse has a lot to offer in handling at the cost of functionality. I love this mouse and I find myself coming back to use it all the time, despite having plenty of mice that are more expensive and responsive.
The reason I am using the Roccat Kone Pro Air as opposed to any of my other favorites is how ergonomic this mouse is. I haven't found a gaming mouse on the market that has wireless functionality, side buttons, a shape to fit my long hands and fingers, is lightweight, and doesn't cover the mouse with random buttons that alter my grip or get pressed on accident. I also particularly love how clicky and responsive the side buttons are. This thing is FAR from flawless though.
I have had issues with this mouse since I received it in the mail. The software randomly crashes, sometimes the mouse won't receive any inputs from clicks unless I factory reset the mouse, I often get rapid double clicks when I click using the left and right mouse button, and I think the DPI that I set in the software is different from the DPI that the mouse is using. The overall shell and build is cheap, and there are some major gaps in the mouse buttons where dirt and grime can get in, with no way to get out.
Again, the main reason I use this is because I have wrist tendonitis and tenosynovitis and this makes me able to hold a mouse without feeling pain. I will continue to use this mouse until I find one with the same shape, weight, but better software and switches.

Hands down the best ergo mouse I've ever used. Unbelievably light (weighs less than Viper Ultimate), and so comfortable in the hands. And I love the mouse wheel, it just works! Only downside is, no DPI switch, but just pointing that out for potential buyers, no big deal to me.
The feet are very smooth as well, among the best!

Pretty nice wireless mouse. I had a wired gaming mouse, and just got tired of the cable getting tangled up and limiting the movement of the device. Using with a hyperX wired keyboard and it works fine. Had some minor glitches with the Swarm software, not showing mouse data all the time. But it worked ok last couple of times I tried it as long as the mouse was connected to PC by USB cable temporarily. I'm not a hardcore gamer, so not a big issue for me.

I purchased this specifically because it uses optical switches instead of metal contacts for the mouse buttons. Having had issues with double clicking on other gaming mice, a little investigation pointed to that being the issue.
It's a bit too lightweight for my taste, but if weight is a concern for you, this seems to be one of the lightest. The clicks feel a bit mushier compared to other brands, since there seems to be a bit more travel until the switch actuates.
Battery life seems fine, about a weekish with rgb lights on and fairly heavy use.
The included software is fine, doesn't seem to be much of a resource hog, though it seems to forget my rgb settings upon plugging in the mouse to charge. There's support for button rebinding and multiple profiles. You have to lift the mouse and press a button underneath to cycle through profiles.
Overall, after a month and a half of use, I'm pretty satisfied. I'd definitely recommend you take a look at this if you also suffer from double clicking on other gaming mice.

I originally bought this mouse because it has Bluetooth and would work with my Steam Deck.
However, it ended up becoming my primary mouse due to its shape and the feel of the click switches.
My previous favorite Mouse had been the G703.
The only issue I found was that it doesn't come with a dongle adapter for the cable. I just use another one I already had, but this would be frustrating if you don't already have one.

The wireless mouse market is full of options. Big companies like Razer, Logitech, and SteelSeries are tossing in their mice at prices that really speak the performance they give. Roccat is no exception here.
Honestly, the main mice I would compare this to are the SteelSeries Prime and the Razer Viper Ultimate, as those are mice that are pretty much similar to the Roccat Kone Pro Air. While I haven't used the SS Prime, I have used the Razer VU, and honestly, I prefer how the Roccat feels.
Buttons feel good to click, scroll wheel feels nice, and it tracks well. Only hassle there was was just getting the mouse and dongle updated since it wants you to update the dongle first, then plug in the mouse and update, but that's just the software, so pay no mind to that.
Battery life is also nice. Overall, I think the Kone Pro Air is a nice mouse upgrade if anyone is looking for something to get.

Had issues with the manufacturer's software. Setup was easy but failed to update on the first attempt. Software controls are not for a beginner. Mouse is a little too light. Had an issue with the finger click pads stinking to the body because of how the flex. Love the rechargeable battery. Confused about when the battery will die.

Hi Kevin, thank you for choosing ROCCAT. We are glad you generally enjoy the mouse! Please excuse any inconveniences you've experienced during the initial update, but note that you can always reach our support team using the contact form on our official support website. Regarding your confusion about the battery life, the mouse should last for a minimum of 75 hours in wireless mode or even 100 hours and more in Bluetooth mode so long as the illumination is turned off. With LEDs on the battery life will be shorter and we know most users are usually having their LEDs turned on, but due to the endless configuration options of the illumination it is difficult to give a definitive statement about battery life with LEDs on.

Very light, especially for its size. Excellent sensor. Excellent battery life. I’ve been through a great many mice. My preferred up to this point has been the Viper. I feel this mouse gives a more positive grip without a significant weight penalty. I wish there were one or two dpi change style buttons on the top middle. I like the aluminum mouse wheel.

Positives: Light and comfortable; instantly recognized and working out of the box w/ a caveat (see below); fully customizable through software; superb battery life
Negatives: Price, it's too high (double) compared to the wired version (same mouse); Quirky update (you must update connected via usb, not wireless - had to restart a number of times to get it to work); possible QC issues? I had to exchange mine due to a faulty button

So far so good. This is a nice light mouse. It slides easy over your surface of choice. The wheel feels goods as does the left and right mouse buttons. The two side mouse buttons feel good as well. The only real issue I have is the Roccat software Swarm. It is buggy as best, does not work half the time, and is awful in general. Luckily you don't have to use the software to use the mouse, but you will not have any control over the rgb, dpi levels, etc. Also, you won't be able to see how much charge your wireless mode has. It works fine in wired mode worst comes to worse. Good mouse. Awful software.

I have found the build quality to be great on this mouse. Personally the shape is great as I find my mouse grip to be predicated by my thumb, so having a consistent spot to put the thumb helps.
Battery life is good as well, I managed to play on the mouse/use the mouse for productivity for approximately 8 days before having to recharge.

TLDR: Get it, use it for a week, if you don't like it, then something's wrong with you. (: LOL jk But I do think this mouse is well worth it on sale.
Coming from the Razer Orochi V2 it took me a few days to get used to it. It is probably one of the most comfortable gaming mouse I've used. I've gone through the Cooler Master MM720, Cooler Master MM711, Logitech G305, Logitech GPW, Razer Orochi v2, Razer Deathadder, Razer Viper Ultimate, Hyperx Pulse Fire Haste, and Roccat Burst Pro. Out of those mice I've played the best using the Razer Orochi v2. However, this mouse is just so comfortable that the only reason I ever bring the Orochi v2 out is when I'm using my laptop. I've seen reviews of people who complain about the sound of the click but it doesn't bother me when I'm gaming since I have head phones on and barely hear the clicks of my other mice to begin with.
I like how light the clicks are on the left and right clicks and the feel of the scroll wheel. It's pretty easy to middle mouse click while scrolling so it accidentally clicks when I play games and scroll quickly but I usually never have anything important to bound to that.
I convinced my friend to buy himself a copy just by letting him use the mouse for an hour. He said it was super comfortable and wasn't annoying loud.

Great mouse with a 10/10 sensor, weight, buttons, and scroll wheel. However, I got a bad USB dongle where it would disconnect and sometimes not even work unless I re-plugged it back in. I tried on different computer, USB ports and updated/restored the device plenty of time having no fix.

Bought this for my 13 year old son because he wanted to bring his gaming skills to the next level. He already had a very nice Logitech gaming mouse but he said this one by ROCCAT is considered the best there is. So far, he's very happy with it. He says it has the perfect feel. It's light, very responsive and smooth. He claims his gaming skills have increased significantly.
