    great gaming / general mouse

bought this mouse after reading and viewing many reviews. solid mouse. i bought this one to replace my tired Razer Imperator which did well for the 3 yrs or so i had it. the ergonomics were very similar overall and was a natural fit. i liked the adjustable thumb buttons on the Imperator which made me hesitant to switch, but the location of the thumb buttons and the rocker on the Tyon happen to be in the same location so that was a bonus. takes a little time getting used to all the button mapping on the software but it is pretty much ready to go out of the box with pre-programmed profiles so even a casual user can enjoy the shift features without diving too deep into the software. overall great feel, good weight, tracks nicely. it's a slick looking mouse and i definitely prefer the rough textured sides over rubberized versions (those wear out). the shift mapped buttons are really handy for just general use.

    Excellent mouse with analog paddles!

My favorite mouse of all time now, even without Logitech's excellent free scroll function. The paddles are excellent, and work on 6DoF games like Descent and Overload but also control flight well in Planetside 2, Battlefield etc. Good in productivity such as Excel scrolling but not as good as Logitech's free spinning wheel options. I was pleasantly surprised that the rest of the mouse besides the paddles is very good too. Buttons are plentiful without overwhelming and are accessible without being in the way. Tempted to buy another in case these go out of production some day.

    Horrible Mouse(DONT BUY)

I am an avid gamer and a gaming mouse is crucial. So when I started to use it I was very frustrated to find out that the scroll wheel squeaks like an actual mouse. Really annoying and is hard to concentrate with. Also the wire for the mouse is getting worn after about a year of having it and it doesn't always work. It is very unreliable. The only decent thing is the programmable modes on it.
