Customers are saying

Customers regard the gameplay of Rock Band 4 and Legacy Game Controller Adapter as amazing and similar to previous versions, with some improvements noted. However, some users experienced compatibility issues, particularly with older wired drum controllers. A few songs did not transfer to the new system for some users. The adapter's compatibility with various Rock Band equipment should be carefully considered before purchase.

I love that I can use the Rockband 3 controllers with Xbox One. Kind of surprised that only some of the music from RB3 is transferable and that I had to pay to import it. Especially music I bought from the store! That should be there for as long as I have my live account. All said and done..... I give it two thumbs up!!

I am glad to finally get a new Rock Band game after so many years even though it doesn't seem much different than the old games and is even missing some previous features. As much as I am enjoying it I was disappointed to find the Legacy Adapter forces everyone on legacy instruments to the same profile which in turn keeps the extra players from getting achievements. I wish Harmonix or MadCatz would have made this limitation clear before I bought this version.

Best Rock Band Game Yet!! The songs are amazing and game play is amazing too!! Character customization isn't bad, there's not too many outfits to buy at first like the old games you have to unlock them throughout the game but I love the choices you make for the path your band will take!!

The game is fun... But it isn't hard to make a game like this fun. It's a basic Rock Band game with a good line up of songs. Buuut... The graphics are nothing to write home about. The game looks about the same as the previous incarnation. The real problem is the fact that the character customization is so extremely limited. Limited to where there are only two body options- feminine and masculine. That's right. Your body types are girl and boy and they're both thin with no option to make them fat or muscular or in between. That sucks.

Game play is very similar to previous versions with better solos. Easier to change difficulty settings and other options during game play. Initial song list is pretty weak, there are a ton of songs to purchase and you have free access to songs you have purchased for Xbox 360. Xbox 360 instruments (mine were guitar hero instruments) connected easily with the adapter and worked well. I couldn't get my Lips wireless microphone to sync, but I had a USB mic that I hooked up to the console. Worked well.

The new Rock Band game has fewer features than Rock Band 3 (at least for now) and supports only the basic instruments (guitar, bass, mic, and drums). New features around guitar solos and key detection (voice) work well and are fun. The adapter works pretty well with the older wireless Xbox 360 instruments. If you have a lot of DLC from the previous iterations of Rock Band, it's awesome that they are free to download in this version, but be prepared for a rather tedious download process coupled with the fact that not all of the content is ready yet.

This game is definitely a welcome return. Still fun to play. Rewarding if you have played previous entries and have previously purchased DLC. The adapter works great and syncs up to your old Rock Band instruments a lot easier than I thought. The Freestyle Solos is the highlight of the game. They need to fix a few bugs and add the on-disc music from previously owned games so that I can give it 5 stars.

I like rock band so far. It's great that new songs are here and I can use my old library and instruments and it's fun. It does feel incomplete as a lot of dlc is missing but it should come back soon.

I couldn't live without this product. I play xbox one every night. I have problems playing xbox one guitars so the main one I play is on xbox 360 and this product lets me do that very well I say.

I'm excited to play the new Rockband game and also save some money. I have the entire band set for the 360 so with this adapter I'm saving over $100.

The song list included with the game is pretty good, if a bit slim - but if you're buying this, it's probably because you have at least one of the previous Rock Bands. Redownloading your previous DLC is pretty convenient; on the home screen, go to Rock Band 4 and press the menu button, then choose Manage Game. There'll be a Ready to Install section with a button to download all songs at once. Sorta. If you've previously exported Rock Band 1, these songs will already be ready for download. The Rock Band 2 export isn't supported yet, but should show up in the same menu once it is. It's a separate $15 purchase to export Rock Band 3. As for the game itself, my only major complaint is that there seems to be no practice mode for trying out the harder segments of the songs in slo-mo. Well, with no-fail mode it doesn't matter if you can't actually play the whole song...
