Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the Rock Band 4 Wireless Fender Stratocaster Guitar Controller Bundle's fun gameplay, high-quality guitar, and ease of use, with many praising its accessibility for players of all skill levels. The ability to utilize previously purchased downloadable content is also a frequently cited positive. However, some customers expressed disappointment over the lack of keyboard support and the inability to purchase the guitar controller separately from the game. Overall, the positive feedback on the game's quality and the guitar controller outweighs the negative comments regarding limited controller options.

Four stars - because I was unable to buy an extra guitar without the software. Seems silly they release the game without the opportunity to get a second guitar. I see they will have them in time for Christmas at many locations - over two months after the release of the game. I would recommend getting the band in a box - and waiting until the guitar controller is available without the software.

While I miss some of the features of the older rockband games I am really happy that they finally released it for the current gaming platforms. The great part is that all of the old DLC that you purchased will port over automatically so you can jump right in with a large library of songs to play. There are still some features that they don't have (Online play) that would make it a 5 star product but it is still a great game for those that love the music rhythm genera.

If you would like to re-play old songs you had downloaded, or play some new tracks this is a great bundle. The game works well, and the syncing issues with the instruments and latency have been drastically fixed. That said, this is still the bare-bones Rock Band 1 type experience. Most of the customization, practice modes and online play we have come to expect is missing. Granted, Harmonix is standing behind this product, stating that this is THE ONLY Rock Band game that will come out this generation and they are going to be releasing massive updates for free, including a practice mode and online co-op. For this price, it's worth giving it a shot. If you weren't into rhythm games last generation, you won't like this. I'd suggest giving Guitar Hero Live a shot as they have significantly changed the button layout. This is nostalgic for me and I am getting my money's worth out of it. I can't recommend it for anyone who is on the fence though. There isn't much content unless you've been a long time fan of the series.

    It's Back!

Rock Band 4 is another solid entry into the classic franchise (classic for me anyways, haha). Having spent hundreds, if not thousands of hours fake plastic rocking, I can see myself spending hundreds more! I will admit that the game is a little barebones right now (lack of in-depth character/band creation hurts), but that was to be expected. Harmonix was very forthcoming with the fact that this is not the multi-million dollar budgeted game the other Rock Bands were. The beauty with the new console generation is that games can be expanded and improved on in significant ways (Titanfall, anyone?), and Harmonix has already declared constant updates for the foreseeable future. If they can keep to this promise, then I see Rock Band 4 being the DEFINITIVE version of Rock Band. Also, almost every previously purchased DLC track is available from the outset, for free. Previous Rock Band disc songs will be available in the near future as well, bringing the total music available into the thousands, trumping the competition. That alone makes the game a 5-star in my book.

    Good Game, Expensive DLC

My only major complaint about RB4 is that prior USB accessories are still not all working. So if you are an ION kit owner, beware. That said the new free form guitar solos are a lot of fun. The new single title per console format is very promising and I have been very happy with the game play in this version on my XB1. There is a huge selection included with the disc, but with that much variety you will only put the time into 5/Gold a portion of it. The DLC is expensive and importing songs from prior purchased games is still coming but is not free. It is now cheaper to buy rock band 3 than to purchase the track pack for it. I know these games require a lot of work for DLC but there is very little benefit to purchasing multiple track packs and the choices are hit and miss. I really like the game play but I encourage everyone to look at the DLC offering prior to purchase and make sure some of what you want is out there.

I have been waiting for this to come out on the next gen consoles. I only play guitar or bass. I am waiting for guitars to be sold separately, so my friends can play simultaneously. Brings back good memories!

I bought this because I have owned previous Rock Band games and absolutely love them. The guitar is very comfortable, buttons move very easily, only complaint is the cheap strap they pack with these. I actually put a real guitar strap on it because its more comfortable and longer as I am a taller person. The pre-installed music is a good mix, and ability to purchase DLC is great too. I am waiting for the ability to play online with bands or friends which I hear is in the making. Currently you can only play with others in the same house.

Excellent quantity, the Rock Band Guitar is sturdy, and is well built in my opinion it's much better than the last guitar! I didn't research enough information to find out that Multiplayer was taken away from this Rock Band 4. I went ahead and looked up prices before buying the new guitar bundle, and it seemed the guitar was almost the price as the bundle, so I went ahead, and bought the bundle. I've looking around to buy the microphone separately so I can enjoy time with my sister, and she can be on the vocals while I am on the guitar. I've been playing it around since the time I got it this morning, and I'm impressed the songs are great, and also catchy. Happy Customer here!

Classic Rock Band action, but with a smaller song roster this time. All your DLC should work though! And for a $15 you'll be able to transfer some of your RB3 list over.

Rock Band 4 feels familiar from the get-go. Not much has been done to innovate the genre, but that is ok because Rock Band 4 remains a very fun game. Since this is essentially the last Rock Band game and Harmonix is gradually making the game better, some people might be disappointed by its unoriginality. We also have to wait for new instruments to be sold on their own. The first update will bring the much desired ability to import most of your old rock band songs from previous games.

If you ever wanted to be a star guitarist in a rockband then this is the bundle for you. Unlike the other bundle that includes a guitar, drum kit and microphone, this comes with just the guitar and Rockband video game. The song list is diversified and the controller is one of the best ones to be created by Mad Catz. If you don't have any desire to play the drums and have to find a place to store those bulky plastic instruments then this bundle is perfect for you.

The guitar controller is way higher quality than previous models and the most of the issues with rockband 3 were fixed in rockband 4 while keeping what worked well.

I'll keep it simple. Great game like the rest of RB. Right now no online mode but it's coming soon they said so I can wait. I waited this long just for the game. People complain about the downloads they purchased but they will all come soon. Oh there is a easy way to download the ones they have available that you purchased by going to option and use the rebuild option so it will download the ones you may have missed. Wish you could use the rechargeable battery pack you use in your controller in the guitar. All together good game

I'll play RB4 a lot, but aside from a better guitar, there's not much new here. No online feature, so if you want to play with a friend, they'll need to play on the same console. If you enjoyed playing Rockband and guitar hero in the past, you'll enjoy playing it again on the XBOX One. Lots of downloadable songs, which is great, but the costs will add up. All things considered, I love this game!

I purchased this after hearing of the online content transferring over and the night I got it and started playing it I felt I had went back in time. I liked the ease of setting it up. No dongle to deal with and it is self calibrating. The new solo mode is really fun and exciting because you actually hear the notes you play at the time you play them. All in all this is my favorite of the music series.

The only reason I got Rock Band was because of the guitar style change made by Guitar Hero. However, I am satisfied with the gameplay and the ability to change the looks/outfit of my character. The only complaint is the number of songs available on the game disc. The set lists on Tour mode get repetitive and boring until you buy more songs for 1.99 or 5 dollars a piece.

This game picks up where RB3 left off. The gameplay is great. The set list is good as well. The new guitar controller is much better than the previous generation. Much quieter fret buttons and much better strum bar. Game is lacking importing of previous RB titles which I hear should be coming soon. Also, no online multiplayer yet, but that should be coming soon as well.

Bottom line is if you played and liked RB 1,2 or 3 you'll at the very least enjoy this game. The issue is that right now, (10/21/15) the game is lacking features. No online multiplayer with no current plan ( it appears to be a 'maybe' at the moment) to add it is disappointing , this isn't really an issue if you only plan to ever use local multiplayer. No keyboard and lack of support for some of the older wired instruments such as the Guitar Hero 2's Xplorer hurts especially since there is no current way to buy a stand-alone guitar. Hopefully these issues will be patched in later since Harmonix has stated that they plan to treat RB4 as a platform. The setlist should ultimately determine weather or not you should buy this game. Give it a look, see if there are at the very least 10 songs you know you will enjoy. Personally it's a very weak one for me since most of the music is skewed toward modern rock. But more power to you if you like it.
