I didnt feel like there was enough content in the first level and I mastered it in one night, having taken spanish in college. I called Roseta Stone to see if I could exchange for the next level up and they said no. Not without a charge. I don't know...I just don't see how one could become fluent when you start with phrases and words rather than the explanation behind how sentences are formed.

Bought this while it was on sale. It's nice for learning vocabulary words but there is no logical progression in the words chosen. It is very random. The learning isn't conversational. You can use it offline so its nice to be able to review while being somewhere without Wifi.

My husband has been wanting to try this for several years. So for Father's Day we got him level 1. Buying one level at a time is more expensive, but I have read mixed reviews on this product so I didn't want to go all out. He thinks it is pretty good although he felt like he missed something in the beginning that might have made the learning curve a little easier. He has many "lessons" left but is enjoying giving it a try.

It's easy to get up and start learning right out of the box.

My job has quite a few Spanish speaking Americans and this has helped me learn the basics at a quicker pace.

This program is effective in teaching the Spanish language.

Takes too long to start product would like to just be able to get on computer for quick lessons when I have a few minutes. If you don't have a complete 1/2 hour to 45 minutes for a lesson don't bother.

This product is amazing! It allows you to learn another language through hands on practice. This product is user friendly and anyone can do it.

Even though this is level 1 through 3 it starts out with advanced phrases concepts and they don't provide clarification or verification of what the term means. For example they may have 4 images. An image of a little boy, a little girl, another image of a different bot and another picture of another girl. Then they will say a phrase. There is no way to confirm what the phrase means. You just guess what they mean. I think that's a bad way to learn and may lead to misinterpretation of the terms or phrases.

We wanted to be able to communicate on vacation I feel we'll do pretty good on our next trip

Helpful program to help learn a new language fast.

This is a good tool for me to use. Since I live only 25 miles away from the border, this tool has come in handy. My only concern was the price. A little to price but I needed this tool.
