Another classic piece of Runtastic garbage!

I had serious reservations about purchasing another Runtastic product after having 2 of their combination heart rate monitors which both failed. Much like the heart rate monitors, this device seems great on the surface, but it has issues connecting and maintaining a bluetooth connection. My Orbit arrived and I had high hopes for it. I allowed it to charge fully and then connected to my Samsung Galaxy S5 via the Runtastic Me app. The device connected, set the clock and unfortunately, that's where things started going south. After wearing the device for several hours, working out and sleeping, I returned to the Runtastic Me app and started receiving "Connection Error" messages from the app. It was never able to connect to the Orbit and sync my data. The troubleshooting in the app suggests resetting the Orbit, but that causes all the data to be lost and it still won't connect. I'll be returning this item and suggest avoiding Runtastic products at all cost. Although their Mobil app is pretty good, their hardware is terrible!

The Orbit tracks your daily steps, calories burned and sleep quality and duration. Easy to use, good to wear - perfect for me.

So much more than a tracker

I bought this tracker figuring it would be similar to other glorified step counters. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to integrate with all of the Runtastic apps I already use on my phone (running, biking, etc.). The daily tracking and encouragement emails were a great reminder to help me keep my fitness goals top of mind. The product was easy to set up, durable and very self intuitive.

Took awhile to pick out an activity tracker and am an avid Runtastic app user. The orbit came out and was excited to get it. It works great. Tracks everything and has a clock on it too which I like also. It also comes with 2 bands and a clip which made it more versatile in wearing it.
