I bought this on sale for $129. That's $130 off. So I can't really fault it much for that price. However my only complaint is the build quality. As in it is very plasticy. Other then that it is an awesome Chromebook. I get an easy 9-10 hours out of it. It has nice storage and I can run Linux via Crostini.

I love this chromebook. I don't need an additional upgrade in O/S just simple to stream TV, social media, pictures. I needed an inexpensive laptop which works great. Drawbacks- the sound is poor. You will definitely need a bluetooth speaker. The power adapter overheats in a power strip. The input is also a very small port which I can foresee breaking off, so I'd advise getting the insurance.

Ordered one during the Black Friday sale as a second device primarily for online classes. I was looking for something that would get the job done for a low price. So far, this has met and exceeded my expectations, knowing that I would be getting limited space, RAM, and cheaper components. So far, everything I need to do on the day to day works so well on this ChromeBook, I have stopped using my other computer for it and only use it for heavy projects (editing/filming/music production/etc). Using ChromeOS works out really well overall, considering I am in the Google ecosystem overall. Using Docs to write a term paper while having a YouTube Stream in the background has worked really well overall. Battery life is overall excellent, and gives me all the mileage I need when doing long school projects and I am moving locations constantly through the day. I actually REALLY like the throw and range of the keyboard. It is by no means perfect, but I found myself pleasantly surprised at my ability to maintain long typing sessions and accuracy with something so portable. It is light and extremely user friendly. However let me go through my Cons, as they may be a make/break for some. 1. The screen is horrible. Bad viewing angles and everything always looking dirty was a really hard transition from a much higher end computer. You can mitigate some of this if you plug into a monitor or TV via the HDMI onboard. It definitely will help, but cannot solve the problem when you take it out on the road with you. 2. Speakers are placed oddly and sound horrible. Putting the speakers on the base/underneath doesn't work well at all. It sounds horrible and extremely quiet. Not sure if they ran out of space, or why this design choice was made that way. Workaround is using a cheap bluetooth speaker or headphones with the ChromeBook. 3. The charging port does not consistently stay in and is extremely particular. I barely touch the port with the charger plugged in and it stops charging. It is really frustrating and leads to longer charge times because I have to constantly check to make sure it's charging, even with extremely minor shifts. 4. No Spotify support. This isn't a deal breaker as a smartphone is usually on me and can be used in it's place. It would just be a nice app/support for it if it wouldn't suffocate the RAM and system resources. Everything else about this ChromeBook meets expectations. I made sure when I researched that I had tempered expectations and that I was not going to try and do heavy duty work with this device. So far, it has exceeded in every way in all my uses, except one time when I had 9 tabs open in Chrome, which was my own fault knowing the 4GB of RAM and OS could not handle the workload. If you use the work arounds I provided, your at home experience should be adequate with the correct expectations. On the road use is primarily hindered by the screen quality more than anything else. I find myself reaching for this ChromeBook for day to day uses over my other computers available to me in the household. It has become the daily driver for simple tasks. If you don't ask too much of it, it'll work well and take you far in the basics. It has helped me keep my school tasks and assignments in one place, and helped maintain my sanity through most days.

Bought 2 of these for Christmas. 1 for my 7yr old and the other for my 12 yr old. It gets the job done. They did not need a full fleshed out laptop and at the $129 sale price during the Holiday sale, this was perfect. It is just the right size. The performance has been solid. A few of the features that stand out, is how quiet this is, since it's powered more like a tablet than a laptop, so I don't think there is a fan in it. Also, it is great how it powers up super quickly and the battery life is great as well. The kids have been using it for researching school assignments and streaming Netflix, youtube, etc. Very impressed so far and the fact that it is a Samsung product, makes me feel confident it will hold up.

The Chromebook is light and works with Google and Office programs well. I just downloaded the Microsoft Apps, the same way I would on a cell phone or tablet, and viola! The support of Miguel at Best Buy Citrus Park was exceptional! He answered all of my questions. I was not familiar with this type of product and needed some education on features such as two and three finger manipulation. I had to get used to no actual backspace key. However, I am doing well. This Chromebook has so many features and is great for a person who does not need a lot of storage. It does accept outside accessories for that. The resolution and clarity of my webcam is not the best, but I knew that when I purchased it. The only concern that i have now is that the keys pick up the oils from my finger. For many, that is not an issue. Even for me, not a big one, I just have to wipe down my keys bimonthly. :-) I suggest if you are looking for something small, lightweight and versatile with an extremely friendly price, you purchase this.

Bought this for my 4th grader and it works perfectly. We wanted to get him one similar to the one they use at school. He says this is better than the ones he uses. It boots up/shuts down super fast and the battery last all day. No connectivity issues and it's been bounced around a time or two and still works flawlessly. One of the things I like the most is the micro SD expansion slot for virtually limetless storage. It's awesome!!!

We bought this as a beginner laptop for our daughter we recommend it for anyone who needs it for students PRO - very inexpensive - lightweight - long battery life - works with google apps - Chromebook won’t get viruses underpowered cpu as expected so it just just perfect for kids homework but not for games Con - Can’t play Minecraft which was a big ask from the kids - plastic (but expected at this price) Summary: great as a beginner laptop for kids but not great if you/your kids want to play games

This is my first experience with the Chromebook. I purchased a lap top with Windows 10, and I have to say I wish window 7 is still around. That's the main reason why I was looking into a Chromebook and I love google. I use everything Google, including google docs. I need this Chromebook specifically for school so I don't need anything fancy, just something portable and would last me a long time. This one fits the bill. The non-touch screen is nice for me because that throws off my kiddos who are used to the touch screen to stay away from it. It's a perfect size, slightly on the heavy size ( more than I expected but not a deal breaker because my co-worker has a pixel and weigh about the same.), long-lasting battery. The only thing that would make it nicer if it has a backlit function on the keyboard.

I really do love this computer. I got it to use for work-related activities when it isn't convenient to plug in. It lasts for a long time and works well with just about any wifi connection. The speed is pretty good for the price point. The screen leaves much to be desired, but I've also had worse. Obviously, it doesn't compare with my fancy laptop, but my fancy laptop also dies within an hour. So, for me, for the sake of work and convenient browsing, this works great. Any type of streaming is not great. Browsing, email, websites with no need for videos, and creating word documents, as well as ease of connecting to a printer and printing, is all great. It was an amazing deal for the price, I would buy it again. It would be 5 stars if the screen was just a little less grainy and I had to adjust it less when going from word documents to pictures (online shopping).

great little computer very light weight, great battery life. and is quick enough do handle most day to day tasks with multiple windows, my only complaint and reason for 4 stars is the lack of a caps lock button, where caps lock would be there is a search button and its rather annoying.

Love this Chromebook. It has everything I need. The screen size is decent. Its fast and has 32GB. I was going to get 4/16 GB but glad I went with 4/32 GB. The charcoal grey color is surprisingly pleasant. Performance is great for surfing internet and emailing.

I've been using Chromebooks a long time, mostly when I travel, I use it for entertainment and whatever else I need to do, such as Office online. My first CB had 2 gigs of ram and 16 gigs of storage. This one doubles that, the screen is excellent, colors are accurate and bright. Battery life is fantastic. What's not to like? ok, so it doesn't have a touch screen, not a deal breaker for me and you won't find a CB with a touch screen at this price point. Thin, light, easy to carry anywhere. Excellent for students, Google Cloud Drive for when you need additional storage and storage that's available anywhere. I've been very happy with this Chromebook, you will be too.

I've owned this Chromebook for nearly a full year and I still absolutely love it. It has excellent battery life, touch pad responsiveness (including multitouch), and solid functionality when doing light to moderate web surfing and applications. There are times I have used a USB wireless mouse for things like spreadsheet work, but the built-in pad is generally very good that I often don't bother with a mouse. I grew to like the Search function replacing the Caps Lock key (just tap Alt+Search to toggle Caps Lock - you'll get a neat little popup confirmation). Tapping Search lets you search across the web, apps, and even your device. The 4GB memory version is definitely the model to get in my opinion. I've had several Chrome tabs open at the same time with no problems. Websites open up easily with full functionality, and I'm able to go backwards and forwards in a tab's history with no problems. I bought a 128GB microSD card for this but I have almost never needed it with this 32GB system. I mainly surf the web, work on documents occasionally, and stream music and the occasional Netflix or YouTube video. The system does quickly recognize the microSD card when inserted and treats it like a separate drive. The screen has a nice matte finish that is generally easy to view. The colors aren't as nice as a full-on laptop of course, but given the price it's more than fine. I haven't had problems writing documents or working on sheets with the overall screen size, either. I've been able to go back-and-forth between my 17" laptop screen and this one fairly easily. Since this is a Chromebook, you also have access to the Google Play Store and numerous apps. Really handy when you want to customize it for what you need it for. I installed the Google Sheets and Docs apps on my system since I can save the files locally for offline work. I can also download YouTube videos locally via the app since I subscribe to YouTube Premium. I've also tethered this easily to a cellular hotspot via my Galaxy Note 9 and ubiquitous free coffee shop wi-fi (use a VPN just in case) with no problems. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, portable way to surf the web and basic laptop-like functionality, this is the value to beat (particularly Black Friday when I got mine). After nearly a year it's remained reliable and useful.

The Chrome operating system couldn't be easier and cleaner to setup and use. The durable case and long battery life makes this perfect for bringing to meetings or working at the coffee shop. The rolling updates and automatic security protections let you browse the web with peace of mind. The solid state memory boots up in a flash (wordplay five) and the ability to work on all my Google files offline means you can work anywhere. The screen and speakers make this a great streaming machine and the lightweight body means it travels with ease.

I bought this strictly as an internet browsing machine for my basement home theater. I get sick of trying to use my phone for any extended web browsing, and this was the perfect solution. For my purposes it has been extremely quick and smooth: a far cry from the netbooks of yesteryear. The only annoyance I've had is with the charging port. It's a tiny little port that takes a connector the size of a thick pin, and it doesn't maintain contact very well. I find my self having to be very careful about cord arrangement, or else the chromebook will stop charging. It's a pain, but one I only have to deal with every 7 or 8 hours of use, so I don't think it's a dealbreaker.

Great for youtube or streaming movies. My wife dropped it on the floor, broke pieces off. Broken pieces snapped into place, and we are still good a couple of years later. Unit is slow, you get what you pay for. It is adequate for any internet transaction, except games. Remember its cheap. Its a good typewriter, light weight and very portable, rational battery life, and long charging cord. If your expectations are inline with the price, its a good unit.
