Customers are positive about the sound quality, easy setup, wireless feature, and price of the 160 Watts Wireless Rear Loudspeakers. They appreciate the great sound quality and easy setup process. The wireless feature is convenient and the price is reasonable. However, customers are negative about the volume, compatibility, and bass. They feel the volume could be louder, it is not compatible with all soundbars, and the bass is lacking.

After three months of ownership I have zero regrets.
I have the HW-K550 Soundbar paired with the SWA-8000S/ZA wireless rear surround speakers.
The room is a large open family room/dining/kitchen area and I have the sound bar sitting on a swivel along with an LG 55EG9100 display connected via HDMI ARC.
I can watch the display from all the way across the space and still get clear rich sound and dialog from the 3.1 channels of sound bar while only setting the volume to 30 (it goes to 50)
All of the 5.1 multi-channel content I have listened to through the soundbar/wireless rear combo has been great.
While I think a full receiver/wired 5.1 speaker combo may sound better, I fully enjoy what I get out this 5.1 combo and don’t miss all the wires and extra components.
I spent some time adjusting the various settings on the sound bar until I hit a combo that works well for just about all the content I listen to.

Hello, bought these Samsung loud speakers along with the Samsung 3.1 sound bar. This review is for the loud speakers only, they are awesomeness in such a small size. I got them as part of a bundle purchase and very glad the salesperson mentioned the $30.00 discount. They added great sound to my system and I really like the Bluetooth with pandora capability, my friends and family noticed the sound of the Speakers right away. I bought speaker stands for them because I didn't want holes in the wall. For the money a great buy. Well worth the money and my whole system is Samsung. I'm happy, I think you will be too.

Rear Loud Speakers Give Good Surround Sound!

The Rear Speakers were connected to the base station which needed an outlet. Once we found the appropriate place where there was an outlet, it was easy to set-up and get working. After adjusting the placement of the speakers in terms of height, the surround sound was good! It connected remotely
with the Samsung soundbar.

I got these on sale to go along with a Samsung 2.1 soundbar, and the wireless connection keeps the setup clean and simple. They make the 2.1 system sound like a true surround system. I heard no lag or sync issues which is a common complaint with some wireless systems! The only additional setup was to adjust the (low default) volume level of the rear speakers. I had to Google the procedure for my Samsung soundbar because the manual did not actually say how to access that feature! Don't let the low default volume put you off... These work fine!

We bought the Samsung 2.1 amplified sound bar to use with our new Toshiba TV( all purchased at Best Buy) and found that we could get an additional $30 off the wireless rear speaker system which was already on sale!! Couldn't pass it up!! It was pretty easy to set up as it linked immediately to the soundbar but there was a bad connection in one of the cables to the soeakers( from the wireless receiver). I thought the system didn't work but after disconnecting and reconnecting it a few times it worked fine! The book basically explains nothing about getting the rear speakers to work but after playing with the menu on the soundbar, I did find the option to turn the rear speakers on or off and where to adjust the volume of the speakers. Since the speakers are pretty light it was simple to knock a couple of nails in the wall and hook the speakers over the nails!! It really adds to our viewing enjoyment having the rear speakers especially with DTS encoded sound tracks that have sounds emanating from all around!! Very pleased with this purchase!

The set up for this was super easy and didn't have any issues. Bought the wireless rear speakers to pair with with my sound bar and sub woofer, and they paired with no problem at all. The sound and quality is great. THought they would be a little louder but they make a huge difference and I would buy them again.

Good "Wireless" Rear Speakers

These "wireless" rear speakers are good, not great. They meet my needs for a small living room and give you that whole surround theater sound. The term "wireless" is used loosely, as the entire unit connects wirelessly to the soundbar. However, there are wires between the base of this unit and the speakers themselves.
Setup is a breeze and only took a few minutes.

Just got a Samsung 65" 4K tv that was seriously lacking in sound so I got the Samsung 450 sound bar and a few days later added the rear speaker kit. They all paired up easily and work great together. At first I was disappointed in the rear speakers because like many reviews that I've read, they were hard to hear anything. I did a web search and found the online manual to the speaker bar and it tells you how to turn up the volume on rear connected speakers. Very pleased now and quite impressive for the money. Be aware that the speakers are wireless from the speaker bar but are wired to the small receiver that you put on the other side of the room. I'll try to post a pic of the online manual tutorial.

Speakers are the size of beer cans but are heavy and sound OK. I used already mounted existing speakers that are larger. Mostly wanted the wireless driver amp for them so it will work with the soundbar. Set the soundbar for surround and it sounds great. Not like a real system but for a sound bar setup it is great.

So I did some reading and research before buying these add-on speakers for the surround bar that I ended up purchasing as well. I wanted to make sure they were compatible with my soundbar as well as how they work in conjunction with it. It connects very well to the soundbar, levels are adjustable through the soundbar as well. They do put out a good amount of sound when their levels are turned up.
Speakers are not 100% wireless, they do have wires going from the transmitter to them. There is a good amount of wire so you'll have plenty of room to set them wherever you'd like within reason. The transmitter is Bluetooth and connects effortlessly. It's about the size of a decent book and not an eyesore.
Overall they're a great little add-on to your system to add some rear sound behind you while watching movies. I got mine for around $38 as an open box item, well worth it in my opinion.

I have a large family room, and a couple of steps up from that is my kitchen. I purchased a Samsung UltraHD TV a while back, and recently purchased the Samsung 3.1 Soundbar system, and it is great; it fills the room with sound without having to raise the volume beyond the half-way point. The problem was that in order to hear the TV from the raised kitchen, the sound was too loud in the family room. Solution? This wireless rear speaker system.
Well, mostly wireless.....the sound module is wireless and pairs easily with the soundbar, but the speakers? Not wireless. The speakers are wired to the module that pairs to the soundbar, which was not what the BestBuy salesman told me. However, small inconvenience to be able to have clear sound in the kitchen without driving everybody out of the family room, or providing cotton balls for them to put in their ears.
Setup was really simple, and the sound is so seamless that you don't even realize that the speakers are hanging up there on the wall (we kept getting up on the step ladder to see if they were really on). The sound quality is really good, much better than expected.
The combination of the three Samsung products is perfect for our home. (We did buy a Sony Blu-Ray though; nobody's perfect.)

I purchased a new Samsung television, and wanted a soundbar and wireless rear speakers I could use with the same remote. These rear speakers did the trick. They have good sound, including the subwoofer. They link to my Samsung soundbar, and I can use my Samsung remote to control all speakers. I'm happy with the purchase.

The speakers were easy to setup. The sound level cannot be adjusted. The price was very reasonable.
Regretfully, Best Buy's customer service at the store in Yonkers was the worst I have ever encountered, including the intervention by the manager. Absolutely an unacceptable encounter.

I read the online reviews for this unit before purchasing also reviewed it in store before I purchased my sound bar definitely picks up the surround it just lacks the base that traditional wired speakers have but all in all I'm definitely satisfied for it being wireless they are pretty good i do suggest if you do buy to have them pointing toward you in your seating direction they do pick up the sound but lack a little in surround displacement but overall for the price I paid I'm satisfied

It’s not 5.1 Dolby or DTS, but not having wires running across the room is a huge bonus. The Bluetooth was easy to set up and provides a more immersive experience than the sound bar & subwoofer alone.

These are nice surround speakers. Its great that you dont have to run wires from the TV/soundbar to the rear speakers. They are not entirely wireless, you will still have wires running from the speakers to the receiver which connects to the soundbar wirelessly. The speakers sound good for their size. You have to have reasonable expectations for a speaker this size and at this price. They will not blow you away, but they provide a nice surround/fill speaker for the samsung soundbar.

I got these free as a bonus for purchasing the 3.1 Samsung sound bar. They are not truly wireless. They still need wires to connect to Bluetooth base that needs to be powered to an outlet. They are wireless to subwoofer and tv. Sounds are good in rear speakers and works well with soundbar. Perfect for my set up and free so I can't complain.
