Very nice monitor I really bought it for my son so he can play Fortnite when he comes over and I also use it for my surveillance cameras

Perfect! I usually have monitors that have a small defect or two but this one was perfect right out of the box! Picture and graphics look beautiful! Highly recommend for the high quality.

Great display for gaming, so bright that it lights up the whole room. Thankfully it has an “eye saver” feature to minimize strain.

Great monitor. 180 hz gets the job done and hdr400 not hdr10. Pixels pop quickly and colorful blacks and whites on screen.

Disappointed that the monitor is advertised as 180Hz (three different locations in the BB ad), but the box from Samsung clearly states 165Hz. I wonder what else they lied about in their advertisement of this monitor?

I picked this up yesterday and had a full night of gaming on it. I mostly play Apex Legends and I play on Xbox series S but also some Nintendo Switch games (Zelda, Mario, etc. etc.) I had been playing a on 32 inch Samsung TV that I got back in 2016 or 2017 and the difference is night and day. The refresh rate and resolution are amazing. I've been playing Apex for a few years now but getting this monitor makes me feel like I'm playing a brand new game. No joke I feel like I'm playing better on this monitor. Price is a bit high considering there are probably similar options that cost less but I have been using Samsung for decades and the quality is always high and they last forever. Treat yourself! Console players: Remember to set your console resolution to 1440 and your refresh rate to 120 hz 1080p on 32 inch :/ 1440 on 27 inch :D Comparison image has the Odyssey G5OD display on the left and the old Samsung TV on the right. I hadn't even dialed in the color, brightness, contrast or set the console res to 1440 on the new one yet and there is a NOTICEABLE difference.

I mainly use this with my ps5. The picture quality is great. Im using it at 120hz and running my PS5 at 120fps. On games that support it, it runs smooth. Colors are very decent, but not the most accurate. Doesnt bother me for games, but when I tried to use it with my macbook for design work it just falls a little short. Ergonomics are amazing. The stabd is sturdy and gives a range of height options.

Great monitor for the price (i got it around 224 w/ tax). Great color and brightness. Just remember to buy a displayport cable because it doesn’t ship with one and you cant get 180 Hz without it.

The Samsung G5 is a great entry way into 1440p gaming! The 1440p looks great if you want that added sharpness (especially if you sit very close) and thats the main reason why i got this. As for the unboxing experience everything was really simple and easy to set up. I was surprised that out the box i only had to tweak the colors only ever so slightly. I have no defects or any quality issues with this monitor! At 180hz its also plenty smooth though response times are not the greatest. All in all im super happy with it and hoping it lasts me many years! My brother has a G4 which has worked without any problems, so it made me confident going with Samsung.

I love this monitor, I have bought monitors in the past that I absolutely hated, motion blur, low quality screen, etc. This monitor is gorgeous, I love the picture, QHD is perfect for a gamer that likes performance but doesn’t want to shovel out 800-1500+ to have 4k at high FPS. 180FPS is perfect and the screen quality will not disappoint! I love the adjustable height and the fact I can flip the monitor vertical if I ever needed to. Overall very smooth FPS good screen quality I would buy another one if I needed it!

Well I gave this beautiful monitor only a good . Picture is great! I have a GIGABYTE GeForce RTX™ 3060 Ti VISION in my tower and again picture is great. So why only a 4 rating? Well my first gripe is the power on or Standby LED does not work, but I do not find this enough (so far) to drag it back to Best Buy for an exchange. The other problem is a general lack of information on setup. My other monitor's in the past I could put in standby and when the I started the computer they would start up even if it had been days. This Monitor is a little tricky as I have to set the hours I want it in standby. This made it slightly more complicated because again the on/standby LED doesn't work. Otherwise besides their is a general lack of 3rd party info out there due to the fact it was just released in April of 2024. All that said I love the picture on this monitor no matter if gaming, surfing the net or viewing my wife's hi-def photography. I still recommend it!
