Got this to replace an old sound system we bought about ten years ago and should have replaced a lot sooner. Technology has improved so much and I am so glad I chose this system. So much easier to hook up! Nice clear sound and woofer box which makes TV more enjoyable.

I tried an off brand sound bar and it would not connect bt bluetooth, However this sound bar connects effortlessly and comes on with the set. Only one remote for everything is a plus. The last best feature is no wires to the sub woofer, over 20 feet away from the main unit and still able to knock your socks off.

Great sound. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I can not get the Bluetooth to connect with my iPhone 7. I read and followed instructions from Google but still doesn't work. Bummer

Overall this is a good system. The sound is clear and clean. As other reviews mentioned the bass is lacking but for me personally that isn't too bad. We have this set up in a log home with high-ceilings so the acoustics travel - overall I am pleased with the purchase, especially at the sale price I purchased it at. If it would have been full price my opinion may be slightly different but the sale price was a great price point. My recommendation would be to do your research and actually test out a few soundbars to understand if this one is right for you. Overall I am happy with this product and I did pair it with the 2 satellite speakers as well - which I do highly recommend. Installation and setup were a breeze as well - it just took a few minutes and everything was set up and working.

I have a Man Cave TV with awful sound, my stereo plays great stereo but I wanted something with a center channel and surround sound. I looked, listened and researched. For a few bucks more I went with the 3.1 which has the extra center channel and I’m glad I did. Hooked easy to my TV and stereo with Digital Input, Aux input and it does have an HDMI port as well. What I didn’t realize is Samsung TV’s auto connect to this unit and it controls sound and volume which is a great feature. I find this sound bar to be exactly what I’m looking for for my space and price was about right. Not the sound of my expensive sound system in my living room with 5 speakers but good none the less. I find myself streaming music through TV and using the sound bar rather than the stereo, perfect for the size room. Remember if your a sound expert this is not going to give you super sound but sounds great for the price. There is a BOSE I would of liked to have but it was more than double the price. You can also pair this with wireless Samsung speakers, am considering but not an urgent issue right now. There are sound settings for STANDARD, MUSIC, SPORTS, CLEAR VOICE sound which all seem to work well. Overall I’m pleased and would purchase again, why 4 stars...I have a stereo with 4 speakers and music sounds way better out of the stereo than the one (3-speaker) sound bar, just saying.

We purchased this Samsung sound bar and subwoofer to replace our old Samsung Sound bar to go with our new Sony 65" X750D tv. It is awesome. Didn't realize how outdated our previous Sound bar was. So incredibly Easy to set-up. We paired this with a wireless rear speaker setup and the total package creates an excellent surround sound experience for an affordable price. I would certainly recommend this sound bar to anyone in the market, or who wants to replace their old one. Cheers!

Sounds good. Is first soundbar purchase so cannot compare to what other sound bars would sound like in our home setting. Easy set up. Have not been able to get to sync with LG TV remote. Using included remote is quite simple, just a second remote to deal with, somewhat inconvenient. As other reviewers have stated the bass of sub-woffer is not as good as expected, fairly faint. Setting the treble down and the bass up has helped.

This paired without issue to my SWA-8500S wireless rear speakers. There was also no sound distortion or interference and I have quite a few wireless devices on my first floor (SmartThings hub, TP-Link WAP, Arlo Pro Hub). On a side note if you have an older TV or a lower end TV your mileage may vary. I have the MU8000 and I get perfect 5.1 DTS and Dolby Digital support. I also tried it with last year's KU6300 and I only got the 2.1 channels replicated to the rear speakers. ARC support with my MU8000 worked perfectly for about a day and then suddenly stopped. I read a few posts saying to power off and unplug everything for a few hours, but that didn't solve the problem. I eventually gave up and connected it to optical and surprisingly I got most of the ARC features (single remote volume control, settings control from TV, and auto on/off). You do lose lossless support by using optical, but I only stream 4K so I'm not concerned. I confirmed 5.1 DTS works with the Xbox One X and nVidia Shield using HDMI passthrough to the TV. Once again your mileage may vary by TV. There are a lot of people complaining about bass from the subwoofer. Personally I am very satisfied. I placed the sub in the corner of my living room and couldn't be happier. This is also coming from someone that had two 12in subwoofers in his car for nearly 15 years. I tend to prefer a more balanced sound now so again your mileage may vary. I personally have no issues with the bass.

Face it: built-in TV speakers just won't cut it. If you;'re investing in a flat-screen TV and want the best experience, budget in the purchase of a separate sound bar. All of my Smart TV's are Samsung and each has a Samsung sound bar. Integration of the two pieces is a snap. On this particular purchase, I used the optical cable (included) to hook the TV. It was easy to do and easy to select in the TV audio menu. I placed my sub-woofer in the back of the room and it paired effortlessly. As with my other Samsung bars, the sound is clear and crisp, the bar is sleek & stylish in appearance, and well-constructed. With a pairing of a Samsing TV and Samsung sound bar, it's pretty much, set them up and they work. I am very pleased with this sound bar and the price was perfect.

I was looking at a Samsung sound bar for my 4K system. There was a 2.1 on sale for $219 which I went in to buy. The sales rep showed me the difference between 2.1 and the 3.1. The difference was amazing. I stepped up and bought the 3.1 and bought the rear surround wireless speakers also. Amazing crystal clear surround and the sub is perfect. Incredible sound for a low price. Would give 6 stars if I could but 5 isn’t enough. Don’t think twice if you want a lot of bang for your buck. The surround speakers are a must. The sound bar is great but when we added the wireless surround I was and still am blown away. You will not be disappointed! Sounds easily like I spent a grand or more.

I bought this to go with a new Samsung 43" 4K TV and disk player. The bar's low profile keeps it below the level of the bottom edge of the screen on the standard stand. The sub-woofer is in a cabinet below, on its side. Set-up was very simple--I ended up using the optical cable when the Bluetooth connection caused the TV to go crazy. The sub automatically paired wirelessly with the bar, and the combination automatically powers up with the TV and can be controlled from the TV's remote. I won't claim the sound is equivalent to a Sonos or Bose bar/sub combination--each combo costing about $1400--but the price is a fraction of that, and the sound is close enough. (CR rates it second behind the Sonos.) I haven't settled on which of about four sound "modes" I like best for general purposes, but I have the sub turned down two notches--all of this can be quickly adjusted from the bar's remote. Voices sound very natural (no unnatural "boom"), and music gets good response top to bottom, with good mid-range (often the weakness in systems, including this TV's internal speakers). The sub goes to depths that "built-in woofer" bars can't reach, and can be hidden almost anywhere. All told, a good buy.

My expectations were to spend at least an afternoon setting up this system and getting the basic functions down were shattered when out of the box, the items all came online and linked just as the instruction manuals stated. the only problem I had was the TV remote controlling the Soundbar and Rear sound Speakers. But after turning off the system and restarting, everything linked and I have had no problem since. Great system, sounds exactly as I expected, and would recommend to anyone as a complete unit (TV, SoundBar, and Rear Surround Speakers,)

This system does a nice job processing 5.1 sound. The clearvoice is also nice, I am slightly hard of hearing and this setting helps. I looked at reviews after buying the bar and agree its a must to get the surround speakers as an add on. They are not totally wireless but the setup works fine in my room. The bar and surround speaker set up was intuitive. I ran into the same snag as others with surround setup where it says push down on the volume button to pair. Its easy to mistake for volume down direction when all you do is press straight in as if muting. This cost me about 5 minutes. I have had some house shaking theatre systems in the past and this is not one of those. For what it is and the cost and quality I consider this to be an excellent purchase. My cost was around $340 for the bar system and back speakers.

I picked this sound bar up around Black Friday. It does the job. It can get very loud and I like how it is 3.1. I paid around 200 for it. nice little home theater upgrade. Only think I dont like is the remote. I also have a samsung tv. both remotes are identical and hard to differentiate. The only difference is the volume buttons are black on the soundbar remote and silver on the tv remote.

Better than expected after hearing the return stories while in the store returning another product. Seems that they people never spent time setting it up properly. Sounds great when using digital input and tweaking the settings a little. Wish it had some more bass in general for TV shows BUT sounds great with movies and Netflix.

After over a month of research and several trips into the store to listen to many different sound bars, I selected the 3.1 Samsung unit for the great sound, 7" Sub-woofer and true voice clarity I found on this unit. We love watching Football and hearing everything like you are at the game! Music is really great too, listening to Pandora is like having our stereo unit on. Movies are really like being at the theater and being able to control the sound from our Direct TV remote is the best! Very Happy with our choice!

Setup was a breeze. It integrated quickly and easily with my Samsung TV. The sound is good - better than the built in TV speakers. Bass is very weak - you never feel it and hardly notice it. Volume is mediocre. It is low profile, so it fits below my TV on its console. For the price it’s OK - very far from great.

This soundbar and sub provide excellent sound for the money paid, even in a moderately sized room. The ease of connecting to our Samsung TV was essentially effortless. It brought great depth of sound and provided a better moving watching experience. Bass could be louder, even on the highest sub setting.
