Surprise!

I upgraded from a curved 32” Odyssey G7 (2022) mostly for the 4K resolution and the recent price drop ($800). The Neo G8 has a greater contrast ratio and of course the higher resolution. The surprise is that the G8 is not officially G-Symc certified, but seems to work okay with NVIDIA cards. Another surprise is that the color range is slightly lower than the G7 and supports full sRGB but not DCI-P3. The biggest surprise to me, however, is the stand. Unlike the G7, the cables cannot be hidden under the stand cover. Assembly is generally slightly more annoying for the G8. The buttons are also a step back from the G7 joystick, but the OSD is nearly identical woth a clear gamer vibe. Overall, I got the 4K that I desired, but cannot shake the feeling that I have a hard time justifying the expense.

I think this monitor will be fantastic after like 3 or 4 more firmware updates, but as of right now it's passable and could even be fantastic depending on what you're coming from. It's not the best out there, but you can certainly do worse.
I'm coming from the Samsung Odyssey G7 28" 4K...
...so long story short, I plan on keeping the Neo G8 and parting with the G7 28"
My issues are
*HDR turning off at 240 Hz when system goes to sleep
*HDMI at 240 Hz and 12 bit color w/ HDR will do some weird things
*HDR looks weird unless I turn on "Contrast Enhancer"
*Setting Local Dimming to "High" will make everything bloomy looking in HDR
*Viewing angle sweet spot is pretty narrow (VA Panel)
*Doesn't seem as bright as it's advertised
I'm no professional reviewer and don't have tools, but from what I can tell it doesn't seem that bright. My TV is 1200 nits mini-LED and it's a scorcher when I look at it during some scene's, but this is just bright, not quite the same effect. So to my subjective eyes, it's certainly not 2000 nits.
Consoles work fine on it. Didn't have issues with 4K 120Hz on both my Xbox SX and PS5 w HDR on both.
What I did enjoy
*It has great color from what I can tell. Punchier than what I came from
*Better size
*Better HDR than what I came from
*Blacks are great! (Local Dimming High even better, but blooming on everything not gaming or video)
*Console ready
Like I said I think this is one of those unfortunate situations were after some firmware upgrades it'll be a show stopper, but right now it's not bad and depending on what you're using today it could be fantastic.
A buddy of mine came over from using his Dell TN monitor and was blown away by this monitor. Me on the other hand... I feel good, but not that great about it. Makes me wonder if I should have with with an Alienware QD-OLED instead, but I'll never know, because I'm happy enough with this to keep it.

Samsung - Odyssey Neo G8 32" Mini LED Curved Display
Summary:
Beautifully crisp and responsive display.
Pros:
* 32" display provides ample desktop space.
* Curved display offers subtle relief from head motion looking left to right on this large display.
* Stand is easy to adjust with gentle glide like motions to adjust height up/down and tilt.
* Sleek design allows this display to fit right in with most decor (glossy white back is contemporary with popular gaming rigs such as Alienware).
* Infinity Core Lighting offers an ambient light effect that emanates from the bottom and rear of the display. Against a stark white all and darkened room, it is a neat effect. But I feel its lighting intensity should be configurable as if the display is anything more than an in or more from the wall, or against curtains (white), you really don't notice the lighting. I've added ambient lighting to my main floor TV, and it really does help reduce the strain on eyes. This feature is mostly cosmetic until they address that.
* The refresh rate and anti-screen tear configuration features allow for a nice and smooth gaming experience especially for FPS type games.
* Port connectivity. There are plenty of connectivity options for this display with HDMI, DP, USB, etc. With PIP support, you're covered for multiple inputs as well.
Cons:
* There are no cons that I can share.
Use:
Adjusting to the use of this display has been interesting. I have an approximately equal sized display also by Samsung and it was wearing looking left to right on the large screen. The curve on this display does help with this at least by some degree, though the jury is out on just how much. Gaming on this definitely helps you realize just how much of a difference the curve makes. I do feel a bit more immersed in the world when compared to my flat 32" display. I've tried less demanding games like World of Warcraft as well as games like Doom Eternal and Destiny 2. The performance and picture are impeccable.
Note:
I do recommend this unit if you're looking in this price tier because it is a beautiful and feature packed display. It does take up more desk space than a flat display, so that is something to think about especially if you're not convinced of the realized gains of a curved display.

Beautiful HDR

This monitor is highly rated by professional reviewers, but it comes with a bunch of caveats.
First, Samsung manufacturing quality and return experience is notoriously spotty. If you have a Best Buy Total membership, you can deal with Best Buy instead of Samsung RMA, which is a blessing; if you don't have Best Buy Total membership or a Best Buy extended warranty, think twice. Second, the stand is wobbly. If that bothers you, consider getting a separate monitor mount. Third, the scan lines are noticeable at 240 Hz. If that bothers you, you may find yourself switching between 120 Hz and 240 Hz. Fourth, the curved monitor is not for everyone. One of the big reasons to prefer local dimming over OLED is if you do a lot of non-gaming tasks and are worried about burn-in, but if you do a lot of productivity work, the curved screen may be a problem.
Having said all of that, the HDR image quality is drop-dead gorgeous. Yes, there is some blooming around high-contrast areas, but because there are a lot of dimming zones, the blooming is fairly limited. Despite being VA, this is VERY well-tuned by Samsung, and you will not be subjected to the motion blur that VA panels are notorious for. You get close to OLED color quality, but without the burn-in headaches. On top of that, you can generally find this on sale for $400 less than most of those OLED monitors.

Best Monitor for Productivity & Gaming

I chose this monitor because I needed something that excels both in gaming and productivity. Most other monitors that feature OLED have burn in risk especially looking at spreadsheets all day and have auto-dimm features which are frustrating after a while. I also needed a 4K monitor for more sharpness and higher pixel density which this monitor both delivered. When gaming Diablo 4, BG3 both the colors and graphics overall are fantastic. Love the aesthetic and RGB as well. Powering this via a 3080rtx rog strix.

love this monitor, perfect size, amazing refresh rate, 4k, it checked all the boxes. Got it onsale. This isn't a deal breaker or anything, but the monitor does not have a capability for a remote (confirmed via tech support), the monitor menus have to be navigated via the slightly odd buttons underneath the monitor; which is annoying. Lastly, there are no internal speakers yet the volume control on the monitor itself will make you think otherwise and spend a while 'troubleshooting' only to find out, there are no speakers on this monitor.

Good, But Could Be Amazing With Firmware Updates

I want to give this monitor 5 stars but it has a few issues that need to be resolved through a firmware update.
issues that need to be addressed:
- brightness in SDR with local dimming set to 'auto' is far too dim. Auto is only real usable setting because the other two available options which are low or high introduce noticeable and distracting blooming. What's odd is that the auto local dimming setting with HDR enabled is the best way to use the monitor. The monitor still remains bright while severely limiting any blooming. There's no reason why the brightness for the auto setting while in SDR can't be increased while still limiting blooming. This is my main issue with this monitor and really urge Samsung to fix this.
My second issue is the monitor also dims the screen brightness significantly with a full screen window. this is a mini LED panel and there is no reason why the full screen brightness should be limited to this degree, especially with how Samsung advertised their 'HDR 2000' certification to be unmatched. Basically the monitor can get bright in a small section of the screen with certain settings enabled, but the overall fullscreen brightness and brightness in SDR is restricted and there's just no reason for it. I think it can be addressed in a firmware update and should be asap.
- Also while there is almost no blooming with local dimming set to 'auto' both in HDR and SDR, there is a minimal amount of flicker when bright objects move across the screen which is just due to the mini LEDs turning on and off abruptly. It's relatively minor but I think if Samsung puts more attention into fine tuning their local dimming algorithm for both SDR and HDR these brightness and flicker issues could be resolved.
Another issue with this monitor and Samsung monitors as a whole is quality control. My first unit came with multiple dead pixels in the middle of the screen so I sent it back and got a new one. The second I received seems to be fine so far but for $1500 there should be zero of these issues at all. A lot of people have also reported scanline issues but both units I received didn't have any of these issues.
With all that being said this monitor's picture quality is phenomenal. Blacks are black, the contrast is insanely high very comparable to OLED, and like I said before aside from the SDR local dimming issue, with local dimming set to auto there is almost no blooming compared to other mini led or FALD monitors. The response times are insanely fast, and while you can't hit 4k 240hz consistently now there are new cards coming out soon that should be able to hit that and for now whenever I'm playing something competitive dropping the resolution works fine. And aside from the full screen brightness not being as bright as Samsung's advertising makes it out to be, HDR games and content look amazing.
While the monitor isn't perfect I think if they solve some of the issues I've described with a few firmware updates it will be the best 16:9 monitor you can get, and the price isn't insane like something like the ASUS PG32uqx which is twice the price and has a ton of blooming issues that this monitor doesn't. If you aren't dying to grab one of these as soon as possible I would wait until they fix some of the brightness issues with updates and by that time this product will like see some sort of price reduction.

I was using an excellent 34” WQHD gaming monitor from a major brand when I was offered this Samsung Q8 for review. I’ve never owned a 4K gaming monitor and was already happy with my WQHD display. I was eager to see how the G8 stacked up to my existing WQHD monitor.
The full package includes the monitor, power adapter, stand, USB 3.0 cable, DisplayPort 1.4 cable, metal VESA mount adapter, and a removable rear trim panel. The monitor was easy to assemble and the only tool required tool was a screwdriver. Samsung designed the stand to be attached to the monitor while still inside the box which made assembly much easier. The only issue I had with assembly is the rear piece of trim is supposed to conceal the ports and wires but it will not attach over the DisplayPort cable as depicted in the instructions, at least not easily. The cable is thick and looping it over the top of the rear trim piece as shown in the setup guide requires sharply bending the cable more than I feel comfortable with. The rear of the monitor isn’t facing anyone nor is it viewable because the monitor rear faces a window. So, I left the trim piece detached. Even if the rear of the monitor is visible, the trim piece doesn’t make a huge difference to the aesthetics and isn’t worth risking damage to thick cables if it can’t be easily attached with kinking the cables. The power brick is gigantic. It’s even larger and heavier than my gaming laptop power brick as the attached photo shows.
The display panel quality is as good as it gets. I’ve read a few reports of dead pixels and other issues on this model but fortunately, there are no dead pixels, no light bleed, no shimmer spots, no pressure damage, nor other defects with this display. The display is completely uniform when solid colors are displayed and non-HDR performance is excellent. Colors are rich and in typical Samsung fashion, deeply saturated. Desktop and gaming graphics are crisp and sharp in 4K, although the resolution difference in both desktop and gaming isn’t as dramatic as I anticipated. In fact, I see little visual difference in static and desktop content between this monitor and my WQHD monitor. However, I do notice the difference when gaming in 4K @ 240Hz compared to WQHD @ 144Hz. Gameplay flows smoother and in certain games, the visuals seem much more hyper realistic. Samsung also offers plenty of fine-tuning controls to tweak both performance and color calibration. The display also has PIP which allows connecting another input and watching both at once. I’m strongly considering connecting a streaming stick or a secondary mini-PC so I can watch streamed content in PIP. It’s perfect for the times I want to both game and watch sports simultaneously. No more glancing away from the action to look over at the TV during gaming sessions as I’m currently forced to do. Blacks on this display are deep and perfectly uniform. It’s the closest I’ve seen so far to my OLED TV. SDR is gorgeous but HDR is disappointing. I’m accustomed to HDR initially looking bad on some displays but I’m usually able to fine-tune it to satisfaction. I can’t seem to get the HDR to look better than SDR on this display. HDR looks more saturated but is less vivid and is kind of washed out. I’ve tried tweaking settings on the monitor, in the OS and even in the games to improve HDR but SDR always wins out. Some games look better in HDR than others but I prefer SDR nearly across the board. It’s just brighter, clearer, sharper, and generally better looking overall. I’m using the cable provided by Samsung. I’ll keep poking around because I’m not completely convinced I can’t get this calibrated the way I like.
As for cons, aside from my issue with HDR, I noticed a slight hit to my frame rates after the bump up from WQHD/144Hz to 4K/240Hz. The hit is negligible as I still typically average 60-100+ fps on ultra or higher quality in most games, but it is noticeable at times and my system also runs hotter during gaming. That is not a criticism of the monitor because it would be the same situation with any 4K/240Hz monitor. That massive resolution and silky smooth frame rate requires some power to drive them. So I’m forced to decide between optimal performance with slightly worse graphics or slightly worse performance with optimal graphics. I’ll probably stick with 4K since I can live with the occasional frame hiccups. My last con are the controls. The buttons are located underneath the display and are too small and too tightly packed together to be operated easily by feel. I can operate them but frequently push the wrong button or can’t get to the correct button before the OSD times out.
The G8 is an excellent quality monitor. It looks fantastic both in appearance and the content it displays. And it brings out the absolute best of my system, albeit at a small performance hit. I’m not too impressed with the HDR but I don’t consider it a dealbreaker. It’s not terrible but nor is it great. I also believe I can and will eventually calibrate it to my liking. There are just too many other excellent qualities about this monitor for me to believe I can’t improve HDR quality.

Fantastic Monitor

This is a really fantastic monitor with few issues, really a great step forward for HDR in the PC monitor space.
Pros-
HDR looks really great in most games. My advice is to leave local dimming to "Auto" when playing games in HDR.
The size of this monitor allows for you to either set the scaling up a little bit and sit back or set it to 100% and have plenty of desktop real estate to play with (helpful for me because I use this monitor for work and games)
Responsiveness is excellent. I haven't had any issues with input latency or ghosting.
Support next gen consoles at 4k120 over HDMI 2.1 (2 ports, so you can use both AND a PC at 240hz over displayport!)
Cons-
Windows desktop doesn't play nice with HDR. This monitor dims weird spots on the desktop and has serious issues with haloing in the desktop that is not visible in games - just disable it outside of games, as the attempts to pull off local dimming have not been nice to the desktop browsing experience
The 2000 nits peak brightness advertised is deceptive and almost outright false advertising. There has been NO real world situations where I can actually get this monitor to display that brightly.
There are scan lines at 240hz. In game, I haven't been able to see these but they can be visible and distracting on the desktop. Outside of games, I usually set this to 120hz.

I’ve been gaming on a 32” curved 2k resolution monitor for awhile now and once I saw Samsung had come out with a curved 4k resolution monitor with 1ms response time the “Odyssey Neo G8” I wanted to give it a try and see what the difference was over the 2k resolution of my current monitor.
Unboxing and setting up:
The monitor comes in a large brown no thrills cardboard box and inside the monitor itself was sandwiched in by a large thick Styrofoam framework, “it was very well protected”. In with the monitor was a two-piece stand, HDMI and Display port cables, a wall mount adapter “which is what we used”, external power supply, power cord, some screws for attaching everything and a manual.
The monitor itself is large and very heavy “for a monitor” it’s also extremely curved, way more than my 1500r AOC I’m currently using and has a very large hump on the back of it in all gloss white “it’s visually quite striking”. The quick start guide shows to attach the monitor stand to it and use it to pull it out of the box “I would highly recommend using their instructions as the monitor is very well set into that Styrofoam and there’s really nothing else to grab onto. I attached the swing arm mount that I planned to use on the included wall mount bracket and lifted it out that way.
Finding a mount that you can vertically attach two curved 32” monitors is a challenge, and I found one finally. Getting the monitor onto it and set up was actually very simple and no more difficult than any other monitor we’ve had in the past, the only issue with that is the monitor is heavy and very curved so that pushes the weight way forward of the mount. Just plan on this if you are wanting to use a different mounting system other than what’s included.
There are plenty of ports on the G8, 2 HDMI, one display port, a super speed type B port for the hub, two USB 3 ports “one can be used for updating the firmware apparently” and a headphone jack, “there are no built-in speakers. There a 5 way button panel on the center bottom of the monitor “and my least favorite setup for adjusting settings”.
Using:
We attached this to our gaming desktop using the included display port cable “I tried the one I had and it didn’t like it” and connected the 2k monitor with a HDMI cable. Now I already had a dual vertical mount setup and one of them was a Samsung 4k 32” flat screen that only supported 60hz, this G8 is in a league of it’s own when compared to that one. Just the mount I had wouldn’t work since the G8 sticks so far out from the mount and the top monitor ended up sitting too far back to be properly usable.
Using the 5 way controller on the bottom front is doable but it’s not fun to use, I really wish Samsung would include an app that you can adjust the settings from like the AOC I we have, it makes adjusting so much simpler and I’ve actually forgotten where the buttons are on the AOC. But, the menu is very extensive and there are a lot of settings in there. When we first set up the monitor Windows 11 was reporting it as having a 120hz maximum refresh rate. Couldn’t understand that as it’s advertised as a 240hz monitor. Well the G8 comes set to that as default and you can find the setting for 240hz in the menu. Once that was adjusted Windows reports it correctly as having a 240hz refresh rate. The G8 also support some ambient lighting on the front “two small strips on the left/right bottom edge and the large ring on the back. These are also off by default and you can set those in the menu also. Then nice thing about the ambient lighting is it’s not annoying and can be set to sync with what’s going on the screen “which works pretty well”. On top of everything the monitor also has PIP so you can “if you wanted to” have two images from two different sources displayed. The only issue with this is some of the settings in the menu are unavailable with PIP turned on.
Now as for the screen itself, It’s simply amazing and has to be the sharpest/clearest monitor I’ve used “and I’ve had too many to count over the years starting with the original 10” green screen way back”. The black levels are so much “blacker” that the AOCs it pretty amazing. I can take a completely black image “use MS paint and make a large black image” and have it half displayed on each monitor, the black of the G8 is so much daker over the AOC it’s amazing. The same with clarity, the G8 is a lot sharper for text “to us that is” than the AOC there’s just really no compairson and that’s probably a lot to do with the AOC being a 2k monitor and the G8 being 4k. Now I haven’t had time to tweak all the color settings but there’s definitely a difference between how colors look on the AOC over the Samsung so I’m not going to say much about that until I tweak the Samsung, but out of the box, the colors are really good and accurate, more than enough for us.
We’ve been playing Cyberpunk 2077, Borderlands 3, Witcher 3, and a few others and are completely blown away by how good the image is, and we’ve not experienced any tearing or flickering. Our gaming desktop does have a RTX3080 and that drives both monitors just fine. With Cyberpunk 2077 I had to turn down the raytracing and turn down some of the image settings to high instead of ultimate, but in the end, we were was able to keep around a 90fps framerate and we really didn’t notice any quality loss due to how clear the 4k image is, “and this was for all games” as pushing a 4k monitor takes a lot of power.
Conclusion:
This is probably the best monitor we’ve used for clarity and just flat-out gaming performance. The 1ms TN display is simply amazing “especially for a TN panel”, it’s plenty bright at a 45 brightness setting, any higher and it’s too bright in our home office. Our only real complaint is where the 5 way button panel is located and the difficulty of using it easily “it would be so much better if we could control through software”, and with it hooked up to a USB port I don’t see why that wouldn’t be an option. I do like that there is a USB hub and have our keyboard/mouse hooked up to it and it works perfectly, and at least the cables are a little more out of the way. With a completely black background there isn’t a hint of bleeding, “the AOC a few spots around the edges” and we did not find any dead pixels or defects in the screen itself. And even though you probably won’t be seeing 240fps this leaves a lot of room for future proofing. And having an apparently upgradeable firmware you should be able to use this monitor for years to come.
So if you are looking for a very high end gaming monitor “yes the price is very high”, and want to splurge on one of the best images you can get in a gaming monitor then look no further than the new Odyssey Neo G8 by Samsung, we’re sure you’ll be very pleased.

To be fair, I got this monitor with newer firmware out of the box, and I understand there were early adopters whose luck wasn't as as good. But my gosh, this monitor *is* the hype! It checks all the boxes: UHD, FreeSync/G-Sync compatible, 1 ms , 240 Hz refresh rate? On paper this display is a dream! The blacks are the deepest I've ever seen on a monitor; I mean, it's immediately noticeable, not something you have to look hard to perceive. I'm totally sold on Mini LED. I am upgrading from the Samsung Odyssey G7 32 inch 1440p. I know people have had their problems with the Odyssey line, and I did, too, but let's remember that Samsung is trying something new here with this line. I expected the sophomore Odyssey to be an improvement on technology and quality, and I was not disappointed! I got it on sale for $200 off, and it's still expensive at that price, but there is no gaming monitor out there that compares, and OLED is beautiful and superior picture quality, it will not touch this display in terms of gaming experience. If the price point is not a concern, this is the monitor to buy.

Outstanding Monitor! Puts You In The Action!

I've never owned a curved monitor but I have wanted one for ages. I have a great 32" 4K flat monitor that is really nice but I have been constantly looking at the options for a 4K, fast response, HDMI 2.1 monitor to round out (Ha! Didn't plan that joke!) my gaming setup. My gaming platforms at the moment are an Xbox Series One X and a brand new gaming laptop. I play mostly space/flight sims like Elite: Dangerous and MS: Flight Sim, and games like Star Trek Online and MechWarrior 5.
Set-up of the Odyssey Neo G8 was super easy because they have it set up so that now you can easily use the interior supports to hold the monitor in place while you attach the stand. Though you do need to take everything out to get to all the pieces. Maybe some other makers do this but this is the first that I didn't have to rig up to make sure I didn't damage the screen while putting it all together.
*I will make a note here to Samsung. Whomever packaged my monitor was having a really bad day. Maybe give them a day off or two. The protective film on the back was crumbled up into a strip along the back and there was a ton of black, flakey, plastic-like debris all over the monitor. It all vacuumed right up but I've never had so much junk on a piece of electronics before.*
Anyway... There is NOT an Ultra High Speed HDMI cable included, though there is a DisplayPort cable and a USB-A to B cable. I have a few so it was not a big deal. I first plugged it into my Xbox and it was gorgeous without even having to fiddle with the settings. One thing I did notice though, is that when on a static or another screen with minimal movement, there would be flashes of a scan line. I would mostly notice it on the left side of the screen and it would pop up mostly around 1/3 of the way down the screen. Didn't happen at all during regular game play but would be pretty obvious on menu or pause screens.
When I plugged the Neo G8 into my laptop though, that is when she really shined (and in some ways I mean that quite literally, this thing gets bright and a few digital suns about blew out my retinas). My gaming laptop is an all AMD rig and it plays quite nicely with the monitor's FreeSync function. I didn't think the screen could look much better than it did with the Xbox, but boy was I wrong and it is not just from the higher resolution in some of the games. Everything was sharper and there was ZERO scan line flashing anywhere when plugged into the laptop.
This is a fabulous monitor! I have only two quibbles that are Samsung's fault and one big problem that is mine. The first for Samsung is that the control panel for the Neo G8 sucks. The squishy buttons are too small and with the size of this monitor, the bottom is quite close to the desk (at least for me), so they are hard to access most of the time (a remote control, like my other monitor uses, would be perfect). Second for Samsung, is that this thing needs speakers. Even if they aren't ear bleedingly awesome, it needs to have sound output other than the headphone jack. That's just my preference but I think others would appreciate it as well.
The big problem that is on me is the fact that I wear reading glasses and they do not seem to play nice with curved screens. While the curved screen is more immersive, it puts the edges of the screen into my peripheral vision and also out of the plane of focus for my glasses. This means if I turn my head the images swims a bit and I have to pull back from the screen to get the focus locked in. I also can't just dart my eyes over because often times the rim of the glasses is blocking there. I don't have this problem with my 32" flat monitor. I realize that the edges aren't the same distance from my eyes as the center, but I have 20/20 far vision and the further away something is, the clearer, so that is not an issue. I'm hoping that I will either get used to this or that when I get a prescription for those 'reader' eye drops, that this will go away.
If you don't wear glasses, this is an unreserved two-thumbs up of a recommendation. If you do wear glasses, especially readers, you may want to test a curved monitor out in the store to make sure that you are OK with it. I've only had the monitor for like 3-4 days but I haven't gotten used to it quite yet, and I don't know if I will. No matter what, I'm going to keep on trying because Samsung gave us gamers a phenomenal piece of gear!

Must be Mini-LED? Skip the Neo G8 and go Neo G7

This monitor had a chance to excel, but the scanlines when the monitor is operating at 240hz is unacceptable for a monitor of this caliber and price.
My suggestion is to find the Neo G7 32", which operates at 165hz and is essentially the same panel (slightly different coating) but does NOT have the same scanline related issue as the more premium G8.
My other recommendation, at this point, is to invest in one of the new third gen QD-OLED panels that operate at 240hz. Not quite as bright as the Mini-LED, but no aggressive curve and exceptional picture quality at the same or cheaper price than the Neo G8.
Last complaint? Best Buy only carries the Alienware (curved 32" QD-OLED) currently because these monitors are in extremely high demand. Check out the Asus, MSI and Gigabyte options out there, incredible panels.

nails every technical detail only fault being a little wobbly as the base that comes with the monitor doesn’t support the weight efficiently.

I appreciate the monitor for its features. Fortunately, it still has a couple of months left on the warranty, which is a bonus. Regarding the description of “open box excellent,” that was not accurate. The monitor didn’t come in a box and had minor scratches on the screen, as well as splatters of liquid on it. I’m curious where they got the “open box excellent” from. Apart from these issues, the monitor is functional and enjoyable for gaming. If any problems arise, I have a warranty until September. If it doesn’t last, I suppose I’ll have to consider the cost of the purchase and refrain from buying more open-box monitors in the future. However, as of now, I still believe it was a worthwhile investment. There haven’t been any problems so far, except for the misleading description.

Awesome monitor love the way the curved screen hugs your eyes. Love the added Rgb lights that you can change. I was really hype about the look overall and it was easy to assemble and get it turned on.

This monitor is beyond words, its just something you’ll need to experience for yourself. The price may seem steep, but for what youre getting it is very worth it. It has every spec that I have been searching for in a monitor for so long. Even though hitting the 240fps mark on modern triple A titles is impossible even with my 4080, thats not what i got it for. It is the perfect middle ground for pc owners that want both the high fidelity single player experiences and the ability to still play competitive games without compromising hz. This display is truly stunning, the picture is sharp and crisp, black levels are close to oled levels, response time feels very very quick, and the hdr really packs a punch. Worth every dime.
