I really like the performance of this dryer. The only problem we have is that we ordered the wrong size for our family. This is a 4.0 cu ft dryer and we are exchanging it for a 7.4 cu ft unit which is more appropriate for a family of 5. We have a 4.5 cu ft washer, and roughly speaking you need almost twice that amount of space when choosing a dryer in order to allow plenty of room for air to flow through the clothes. Meanwhile, I've been using this one for a few weeks now until the replacement arrives. We have had to wash smaller loads in the washer in order for them to fit in the dryer. If you are looking to wash a comforter in this dryer, it isn't going to fit. The heat pump technology is working great. Dryer times are slightly longer than our older dryer, but I have no problem with that. Cycle settings are easy to use. This is a ventless dryer, so it condenses moisture instead of venting it to the outside. This unit has an option to either attach a drain hose (just like a clothes washer), or you can simply empty a water tray after each load. The water tray is a drawer on the upper left that you easily slide in an out. As long as you have a sink or wash tub nearby, then the tray option is feasible. We are using the tray at the moment because there isn't enough room in our drain pipe to add another hose as it has 5 other appliances draining into the same pipe including the clothes washer. I love the fact that I won't have to clean out my dryer exhaust pipe any longer. This unit has a normal lint filter to clean out just inside the door after each load. On the bottom left is a panel to open to access a 2nd filter area that is designed to protect the heat pump equipment from getting house dust in it. This needs to be brushed and vacuumed on a monthly basis according to the owners manual.

This dryer is much quieter than the normal dryer I used to have. It does not emit hot humid air into my condo, which the regular dryers do. It dries my clothing much faster than what is suggested in what I read online about heat pump driers.

Great dryer, better than the last ventless Bosch dryer I had. This dryer doesn't get super hot nor does it pump a lot of heat into the room, which makes it great for areas that don't have windows or a lot of air circulation. It's perfect for small rentals! For a standard load of laundry, it completely dries in shy of 90 minutes (not even a touch of dampness left). So if you don't mind waiting a little extra time, this is the most energy efficient, quiet dryer you will find. I'm very satisfied with it.

My laundry room has space constraints that limited my choice of machines. With the stacking Samsung washer and dryer, the limitations seem negligible. The machines hold more clothing than the prior Maytag. I no longer need to clean a dryer vent, which was a difficult feat in the tight space. The water outlet is small and fits easily with the washer’s. The dryer did make excessive noise at first, probably due to a part knocked out of place during transport, and the sound stopped after a few loads. Speaking of transport, getting appliances up to this house is a real challenge. The delivery guys made it look easy, were very nice, and wore masks consistent with pandemic guidelines.

This is a real learning experience. The clothing comes out very dry but it takes a great deal of time compared to what I'm used to. I'm not disappointed as I had expected this and was willing to sacrifice a little time for energy savings and ecological advantages. I began using this 12/6 even though I purchased it on 11/25 but had to wait for delivery until I could get a stacking kit. Ventless is a big advantage, more space and less chance of fire due to lint build up in the vent tube.

I upgraded to this heat pump dryer for the space saving size and energy efficiency. It saves me space and still has the capacity to keep up with my laundry needs. It is super energy efficient and energy star certified - most name brand dyers aren't believe it or not. It does take longer to dry but I like that it saves me money and is easier on my clothes so it is a net benefit.

We just did our first load. I have been excited about the dryer because it's the most a heat pump dryer is the most environmentally friendly dryer you can buy...and because it's electric the power can come from a renewable source. BUT, I've been thinking, "How can it work?" "Is it complicated?" "Will it be really loud?" Well...it's simple, regular volume, and it works great! I would say it probably takes 2 hours to dry, which is fine. Because there isn't excess heat, it's way better for clothes. Also, I can fill I the hole where we had a vent for the other dryer. I really don't know why anyone would buy anything but a heat pump dryer. Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but there are rebates you can get in some states...I got $400 off in Vermont. Buy this dryer, it's amazing!

This dryer is small and dries longer than a typical dryer, so it may not be ideal for you if you are in a rush for dry clothing. It is also quiet and fits in smaller areas giving you storage for other things like detergents, toiletries, etc. We purchased this dryer in August 2021 and after 2 months, we had to clean the heat exchanger from excessive lint/dog hair.

This is dryer is on the list of top 10 most energy efficient dryer for 2020 on the energy star database. But it is kind of small, not good for a large family. It is also very fragile, the rough handling in shipping and delivery broke the service door in the front lower left, one of the leveling foot was stripped, and the door close doesn't click close. I'm waiting for the replacement, hopefully it fixes these problems.

I am giving this purchase one star because of the service, not because of the product. The product itself works fine and I am quite satisfied with it. However my purchasing experience was a nightmare and I wish I had purchased it elsewhere. The washer was in stock and delivered when I ordered it with no issues. The dryer was on backorder for 2 months. When the dryer was finally delivered, the crew refused to install it because we didn't have a stacking kit. I was never prompted to purchase a stacking kit and apparently it was not included (as I assumed) in the "required accessories for installation" which I DID purchase. A quick phone call with Best Buy revealed that BB does not even sell this part and that I would need to order it myself from Amazon (the agent's recommendation). So my dryer was returned to the warehouse while we awaited delivery from Amazon of a required part. While I was speaking with customer service I mentioned that one of the "required parts" I was required to purchase for my order was a $30 vent kit, but this is a VENTLESS dryer. The agent offered to cancel and refund that item from the order. However, the fact that a "required" item was missing from the order apparently triggered the system to cancel my delivery. I rescheduled, and it was cancelled again. I spent HOURS on the phone with multiple agents - each agent assuring me the problem had been solved and my dryer was being delivered, before I would receive yet another cancellation notice the night before the scheduled delivery. After the third cancellation and rescheduling, I finally told the agent to add and charge the vent kit back to the order. My dryer was finally delivered, two weeks later, but this time the crew refused to install it because it was in a closet and not out in an open room, which they claimed was a "non-standard" installation (nowhere was that ever stated, and the washer had been installed in our closet without issue). So we had them leave it in the hallway and my husband ended up installing it himself. We actually preferred installing it ourselves at this point because the installation crew had no idea how to drain a ventless dryer, and we did not trust them to do this properly. They did not understand that there was a hose which had to feed into the washer drain, something simple my husband and I figured out just from reading product info on the BB website. Instead they told us we needed to empty the condensation collector - which is an option yes but so is draining though the washer drain (which is my recommendation if you are getting one of these dryers - so much easier that way!). Best But offered me a "compensation" for all of my troubles, for which I would need to call after everything was finalized. I called, was on the phone for an HOUR, then told I would receive a $60 gift card in the mail in two months. That was it. And while I was on the phone with them, we realized I was still being charged for the $30 vent kit which shows as "delivered" on my order but which we never received (probably because the crew realized it was not needed). Customer Service told me they needed to "dispatch" the request for a refund and someone would call back in 36 hours. Didn't happen - I called again (this time on the phone for 45 minutes) to be told again someone would call within 36 hours. I'm not holding my breath. At this point the amount of time I have spent on the phone with them is not worth the "compensation" and refunds I have been promised. The "customer service" department is awful. Good luck if you ever need to use them. This is a great washer dryer set if you live in a small space or need a ventless dryer. However I would not recommend the purchase of such a specialized appliance from Best Buy unless you plan to pick it up and install it yourself.

This dryer is quiet and extremely energy efficient. It does take about 1/3 longer per cycle than a standard vented dryer, but the clothes come out fluffy and gently warm rather than crispy and hot. If you aren't familiar with heat pump dryers to a bit of reading before hand because they come with some caveats.

I never knew a dryer could be ventless....this amazing machine has sensors that regulate the load in it. It can determine the weight, moisture & can regulate the features (which are plentiful) by what's inside. It also can self balance depending on the weight, And you gotta love any appliance that has a light inside that goes off automatically after a few minutes!

Best Buy botched the installation. They charged me for a vent that wasn't needed and the installers just dropped it off and didn't finish the installation. This isn't the first time I've had issues with the installers, you have to be jerks to them and insist that they complete the job. It makes me feel bad to do this.
