I purchased the matching dryer about 4 months ago and I knew right away I had to have the washer. I LOVE THIS WASHER.. MY CLOTHES ARE CLEANER AND MY LOADS ARE LARGER !! Also, Best Buy was the only store out of 6 that had this delivered to me less than 24 hours after purchase, the other stores were going to be 4 days or more!! The delivery guys were super nice and very careful with my washer. Will definitely purchase more appliance's thru BEST BUY!! THANK YOU!!

I was a little worried when I bought this washing machine, to be honest. At only 4.2 cu ft, I wasn't sure if it was going to be big enough to wash a king size comforter but in fact it is just big enough. I've had these a couple of weeks now and ended up getting the pedestals recently which help to bring them up higher. This machine is so much quieter than my old top loader too. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and Best Buy delivered and hauled away my old one at no extra charge.

This is our very first front loading washer and I am still getting use to it lol. It works great, but is just so weird not to have to choose the water level or anything. It does it all for you. Our laundry comes out cleaner and spins out fantastic. I only have to use 1 detergent pod even in large loads. Everything comes out smelling nice and practically dry. It is no problem fitting large comforters in it with some room to spare.

The only downside of this type of washer is that without the pedestal, the front loading can be a little uncomfortable if you're trying to load quite a few heavy items (such as blankets). Other than that it's super quiet, very easy to use (no complicated and unnecessary settings) fits a lot of big bulky items at once (i.e. thick comforters) and is very efficient in getting that laundry clean! Would definitely recommend.

This machine is simple to operate. It is very very quiet. It is very efficient and uses minimal water but does a great job of cleaning and leaving everything fresh smelling. There are several different options for different kinds of laundry. It uh a one if the best washing machines I have ever owned. I love the front load convenience.

A Washer that Washes Clothes and Plays Tunes

This washer replaced my 15 year old Kenmore front loader. It is doing a nice job cleaning - so far. I like the programmable key for my cycle. This makes running it very simple. I am a little concerned about the thumping it does as it balances every load before spinning. I hope this doesn't mean it will have a short life. It plays a tune when you turn it on, and when it finishes. The tune becomes somewhat annoying, but it is better than an annoying beep. It has a handle on each side for transport, but it would be nicer if there were 2 handles. It has a wonderful little door on the front that makes it super easy to clean the pre-filer when needed. This is an essential accessory for a front load washer as they all need to have their filter cleaned occasionally.

    Much Better Than I Expected

After talking with a washing machine repair man, I did not have high hopes for ANY water efficient washing machine, but my old one was dying quickly, so I figured a new one would be at least as good as my old, and hopefully, a bit better. While it still amazes me how little water is being used to wash my clothes, I have to admit, this machine does a really great job. I have washed my white, Ikea furniture slipcovers and my lightweight king-size down comforter in this machine and it did a great job. It's a good cleaning machine. It cannot work miracles. Some of the paw prints were still on the slipcovers, although faint, as was the case with the comforter. But, considering that my old machine used to jam up and stop with either of those items, it's a great thing to have a washer here at home that will handle big, heavy loads. I used to have to take those items to the laundromat. I used to use my old machine on one setting. Everything was washed in Normal. And I figured this one would be used the same way. However, once I spun the knob to the different cycles, and could see that amount of time change, the temperature change and even the speed of the spin cycle change, it became clear that these different modes made sense, and were super easy to use. All of this cleaning and efficiency comes at a price though. Time. Using the "Heavy Duty" or "Bedding" settings will automatically pop the time up to an hour and a half, and "Normal" will consume close to an hour. It should be noted though, with the rate at which this machine spins the clothes, the drying time is sometimes cut in half of normal. (I bought the matching dryer, which is great too). I am really quite tickled, and happy, with this washer and its partner dryer. The only thing I wish is that the coordinating pedestals were not so ridiculously expensive. Being 6'3" I have to get on my knees to peel the spun clothes off the washing machine drum, so it would be nice to have them sit that extra 14" higher up. But when I think about paying as much as I did for each one of these machines, for two boxes with drawers, it's very hard to justify such and outrageous expense. Regardless, I am quite happy with this washing machine. For the way I use it, I would have a hard time justifying a more expensive one.

Pros: love how much I can fit in this washer! Giant king sized comforter for easily! Spin cycle leaves my clothes with much less water than my old top loader, reducing the drying time significantly. Oh, yeah... The cat loves the show through the window. :) Cons: dispenser area is always left with a considerable amount of water after a cycle (like 1/4 cup!), Drying everything when I am finished is a PITA. Definitely have to do this! My son put a load through before bed and it was already smelling bad when I got up a few hours later.

Everything still works great! I LOVE this washer. It's easy to use and not overly complicated or annoying to maintain. If I had one criticism, it would be that the downloadable wash cycles are rubbish and I would have greatly preferred that they just add a small load option instead of the download option. One other criticism is that sometimes (it only happened once to me) the load gets unbalanced and it gets stuck in perpetual wash mode until you can manage to rebalance it manually, which is annoying...very annoying. Other than those two things it's been perfect!

I really like this washer. I decided to get a front loading washer and wasn't sure about getting a Samsung since I only knew they made TVs but I'm very happy with my purchase. I use the extra spin setting and my clothes come out almost dry, saving me time and money drying my clothes.

This is my first front loader machine. It is a little bigger than my usual top loader, but I LOVE IT. It has a laundromat feeling at home. It is functional and efficient at the Price point. Samsung had better option for wayyyyy more money, that do the same job. Ps I have 9 kids and we use this thing on average three times a day. Only complaint is i wish i can do an extra spin on the quick cycle...

This is our first front loader washing machine. We have now had it for about 2 weeks and have run a number of loads through it. It works great! It's quiet, has many options, and gets our clothes clean. We also purchased the matching dryer & stacking kit. Delivery was a breeze and the guys who delivered were great! I highly recommend this product!

I purchased this w/d for my apartment. I was worried about size because the connections are in my clothing closet not a dedicated space. The size worked out perfect. Surprisingly the units were larger in person compared to the price I paid. This investment will surely make it to my first home. I gave 4 Stars because the washer is a little louder than I would expect. It may have been installed unbalanced.

I had a GE front-loading washer for 12 years, that finally just quit. Repairman recommended this Samsung washer. I looked at it, as well as a few other makes. I knew I wanted another front-loader. So far I’m very happy. It’s quiet and gets clothes clean with less detergent. It’s supposed to use less water & energy; we’ll see when I get my next bills.

I’ve had this machine for about a month and so far so good. I bought the matching dryer to stack the unit since my laundry space is limited. The delivery and installation went very well. It runs smoothly and cleans our clothes so much better than our previous GE stackable which died out on us. The only downside is that the machine can get loud during the spin cycle but I’ve read from different reviews the shipping bolts have to be removed which I should have thought before installation. Overall, great machine with a lot of features.
