My wife and thought that our dryer was going out since it took two or three times to dry a load. It wasn't the old dryer at all, instead it was over 5 gallons of lent inside the vent pipe, leading outside that was causing our old dryer not to work properly. We bought this washer and it's matching dryer to replace our old ones. Wow...what a big difference! This washer is not only very quiet during operation it will hold four times as much as our old washer. It's just me and my wife and with the old washer we had, we always had dirty clothes hanging around and needing washed. With this new washer we are not doing laundry everyday. This washer was designed for a large family or those who change clothes alot during the day like we do. It took a couple of runs to get it leveled out but afterwards it operates great. Best washer we've ever owned!

My wife and I love this washer. We purchased this washer as an open box item in store. The washer has small dents but I assume that it is from being a floor model. The washer is more efficient, quitter and the clothes come out clean. Also our old washer used to vibrate our double wide manufacture home but the new washer has little to no vibration. The buttons and dial appear to be great quality. Washer options are easy to set up and have extra settings for a more desired types of wash. Energy Star is a plus. Also the glass lid has a nice feature when closing, the door can slowly and smoothly close on its own when let go halfway. The only con which is a small one the softener and detergent tray appears to be flimsy and cheap.

I purchased this Samsung - 4.5 Cu. Ft. 9-Cycle High-Efficiency Top-Loading Washer (in White) to replace my less than 6 year old HE front-loading washer and am SO GLAD that I did! This washing machine has more drum space, is quieter, and is much more appealing to me than my previous machine. I have only had this machine for 8 days, but I already can't imagine my life without it. Hopefully, that trend continues!

This washing machine is excellent. It is reasonably priced and has all the features that are needed. It does a very good job of washing clothes. It is very cost efficient. I highly recommend this washing machine.

Overall it is a nice washer. It’s not the constant churning like my 10 year old Whirlpool washer, so it takes some getting used to of all the quirky noises. But it does the job. With the clear top, you can see the cycle; not a bad thing since you can’t open the lid (it locks during cycle). The controls feel modern and issue free thus far. The detergent dispenser feels a bit cheap, but is holding up just fine. The only complaint I have is that upon inspection mid cycle, the top clothes didn’t look submerged. I decided to stop the cycle and open the lid to inspect. The clothes were in fact wet, but not submerged. A bit frustrating on such an expensive unit and an obvious flaw in the water auto fill function. If you keep loads small it seems to be less of an issue. But that being said, I probably wash less clothes in this washer per cycle than in my old waster with an agitator.

The reviews are great I have a few friends that have these and love them also great price. The start and end cycle is super cute too!

The washer really got my clothes clean. I love the new design of the front loaders and I plan on get a new dryer in the future.

seems to clean most clothes ok but my wife black work pants always seem to have lint and soap residue on them even when we do a extra rinse. if we do a extra rinse with just those pants it seems to rinse it out. the dryer works great.

This washer is different than what I am use to but it does a great job.

Very pleased with this purchase. Bought this washer for my mom for her birthday. The washer is user friendly and energy efficient.

As I do with all my appliances, I research. I currently had a front loader washer and dryer and since I was moving I thought I would look for something newer. I read the reviews and I compared styles. I was really excited about getting my Samsung top loader washer. As soon as it was connected, I began washing clothes. All of my washing products are "he" but what I found was residue and my clothes didn't get as clean as when I washed with my front loader. I tried washing with different size loads and cycles and the samething happened. My washer and dryer are not the only Samsung products I have so this is why I am confused as to why my washer isnt what it is cracked up to be. I am disappointed and I will see if I can exchange as its only been three weeks.

Initially, I was a little hesitant about this washer when I heard some people were not happy with the low water use for washing. However, I stepped out on faith and good I did. Now I wish we had of purchased the dryer too. This washer is perfect....its quiet, its cleans well (I smell the fabric softener) Its large so I can fit our comforters (no more going to a laundry mat), top loader means to us I do not have to bend just a little reaching because I am short, many settings give us lots options for different type of clothing, and the low water pressure works great for use because we have well and septic system, so the less water is great for us.

This washer is a big step up from the traditional agitator type washing machine. It does take some getting used to though. First, the water level inside is nowhere near as high as the old style. You might actually think it's too low, but all the clothes come out clean. The time for a load to finish is quite a bit longer on this washer as well. It takes around an hour for the load to finish on this one vs. 35 minutes on my old one. The thing is, I'm able to fit twice as many clothes in the new washer so it only takes 2 loads to wash everything instead of 3-4. Paired with the matching drier, I can have my laundry finished in about 2 hours instead of 3-4. Some other things I've noticed: the VRT(Vibration Reduction Technology) is noisy and takes some getting used to. From what I've been able to find, VRT consists of two stainless steel balls in a raceway around the drum. When the load is at all off balance, the balls go to the opposite side to counter the weight. This makes a rather audible clicking noise on just about every turn of the drum during the wash cycle. It's pretty loud at first, to the point I thought something was wrong the first couple of times we used the washer. It gets quieter as it wears in (plus I think we've just gotten used to it). Second, make sure to unroll/unravel socks and sleeves. Because there is no agitator beating the clothes around the inside of the drum, and because the water level is low nothing will get straightened out in the washer. It will stay scrunched up and not get a good washing. Also make sure to use High Efficiency laundry detergent and not use too much. Don't just assume you can throw in a full cup or it won't all get washed/rinsed out. Overall, I would definitely recommend this washing machine.

We recently purchased a new home and had to leave our front loaders in our old house. We had the front loaders for 4 years but never were really happy. Yes, they look cool but once you get past that you realize they aren't that great. The washer door always had to be left open so that it wouldn't smell but it still smelled most of the time. When we began looking for a new washer, we really didn't want a front loader but it's hard to find a quality washer that isn't front loading. Until we found this Samsung. This thing is amazing and has "washed" away all our front loading blues. You can put huge loads into it and it works great. It is very quiet and efficient. We don't have to leave the door open and it doesn't stink. It even warns you when it needs to be cleaned and then cleans itself! On top of all of that, it looks great too. It doesn't look like my grandma's washer but it isn't a front loader. SCORE!

I took a lot of time researching the best washer for the price and this ended up being the winner! Ive owned it for about a month and my clothes are getting cleaner now than with any other washer I've used. I love how many cycle options there are and how many clothes you can fit into a load. It is extremely quiet- it's right next to our bedroom and we can't even hear it when it's on the final spin. The spin cycle does fantastic job of getting most of the water out of the clothes! I can't wait until I get the dryer to match!

A really good feature is that the machine is self-leveling, which allows for no rocking noises during high spins. Easy to operate. Cleans well. Very happy with the capability and capacity of the washer. Very quiet and fully automatic. Looks great next to a dryer of a different make. Like the glass top, allows you to see the interesting and different washing actions. Many useful features. We did read some negative comments prior to purchasing, but were pleased with the overwhelming positive one (like this one). So we took the chance and purchase it anyway. She is very happy with the machine. No problems or issues at all.
