I've had a great experience with this Washer (and Dryer combo). It's easy to use, and much quieter than my previous top loader. I can pack it full of clothes and it never has an issue spinning out like my top loader did. Overall a great purchase!

We moved into our new house 3 years ago. One of the things included was an LG washer and dryer. This included the latest top loading high efficiency washer. We gave up our front loader Whirlpool Duet (great washer BTW) and have regretted it ever since. Tonight after 3 years of UE codes and infuriating frustration I called enough! I am buying a new washer! I chose this Samsung and was then frustrated to find that washers are now something you order and get later... so I looked deeper and found this open-box available that I could pick up today... so I did. The whole thought started at 5PM and even though I had to drive an hour to pick it up, I had successfully washed the first load by 9PM! First let me say that the experience with Best Buy with the open box was great. They took me back to examine the washer which was listed as "Satisfactory" but I would rate it a bit higher... I find no defects whatsoever and saved some money on this otherwise brand new washer. I was quite pleased and they bubble wrapped it up and loaded it onto our truck. Once home it was not long before we had it installed and started the first load. Then 45 minutes later it FINSHED! For those out there with experience with the UE code... this is almost like a Christmas miracle! But it was more than that, because it brought back all of the good memories of the front loader. It spins up to a high speed, and it is so quiet. The clothes are nearly dry at the end. There was no vibration and everything went as hoped... it works perfectly! It looks great, the touch controls are simple, and it does the job it is intended to do, elegantly. I have attached a picture of the new Samsung in place, and also attached a picture of the LG which the elves are helping to take away forever! I so look forward to actually completing loads of laundry! The days of the 5-hour load are OVER!

Love this new washer. It does a great job of cleaning our clothes. It is very quiet and easy to use. I am glad that I bought the base storage because it’s the perfect height to load and unload.

This thing is quiet. I love the Steam feature gets clothes smelling fresh. The only downside is the plastic front. Unfortunately, this seems to be most washers under a grand nowadays. I mainly bought this washer because me and my wife have a household of 8 people. And we wash a lot. I wanted something larger and quieter than are old school washer. The old machine would wobble like crazy and sometimes we wash late at night. The neighbors probably appreciate the difference in noise level.

When bestbuy installed the machine. We had a big scratch on front of machine. Not happy with delivery. Then they had to come back. Because they couldn't hook up machine. They gave me a gas line hose. I didn't need that I have electric machine. Very upset I had all this issues with delivery. Well the only good thing I can say is this cleans clothes very well. I love the steam feature great for kids clothing. Quiet and energy efficient.

the washer is to size. Washes great. Pretty quiet, spin a little nosier, but all different settings and times depending on each load. Owned for 3 weeks. Great communication from Best Buy. & set up and take away. It fit perfectly. Error code for wi-fi

I love this washer. It is easy to use and you can adjust the settings to whatever you want. I’m satisfied at how it washed everything. It does leave a little bit of water in the detergent tray but that’s not a problem. It did take some time at leveling it.

Excellent washer! Can fit my king size comforter in no problem. The color is beautiful. Cute tone at the end of the cycle that is kind of king so I ended up turning it off since my kiddos bedroom is close to the laundry room and I do most my laundry at nighttime.

Works great, very large capacity. I spilled a drop of liquid soap and it landed on the lettering next to the knob. When I noticed it I went to wipe it off and the lettering started coming off. Its not a decal so Im not sure how it can be fixed.

This review is for the Samsung 4.5 cu. ft. Steam Front Load Washer. I have had this washer for around 2 months, and have been very pleased. I feel like this is enough time for me to put my full, unbiased review. The TLDR is that I enjoyed this product and it completely outpaced my old washer in efficiency and consumption. It is quiet and nice, and I don't regret having it, but it does have some slight areas where they cheap out. The long version starts here- As usual, I'll start with the cons. There were only three cons that I can note here: The first was that my order got delayed for no discernable reason, making me have to reschedule the installation. This is more on Best Buy, compared to Samsung, but it still irked me. The second is that there may be too many options for washing (which can also be a pro, but in my case was slightly overwhelming). I only had 5 settings on my old washer, and this one has a total of 10. Again, this is a personal gripe, not really something that can detract from the product that much. Finally, the front paneling is plastic, which isn't terrible, but I dislike plastic fronts just for the longevity of the washer. My old washer had a plastic front panel that needed to be replaced due to it being brittle plastic and snapping off. The hope is that this one lasts, and so far it has, but I have no idea for the future. Now, for the pros, for which there are multitude more: First, this washer washes fast. It washes over 4 times as fast as my old one. I used the Quick Wash setting on this newer one, and it had the same effect as my "Normal Wash" on my prior one. Having to wait only 22 minutes compared to an hour and a half is a godsend, and I really am glad that it works this well. Next, this washer is very power efficient, again due to the faster run times. This is very nice due to the current energy enforcement laws around my area, since from 2PM-7PM on Weekdays we have to pay almost double what we're paying normally for electricity. This also can be accounted for because it's a Steam washer. The washer is very easy to load, the door is of nice quality, the detergent dock opens cleanly, and it doesn't seem to have any trouble with the internal tumblers. The construction on the body is metal, and does not shake (for my unit). I have seen people complaining about how their units shake the floor, but I luckily got a good unit that works perfectly fine. Finally, about the installation, the Best Buy installation guys were nice and friendly. They worked efficiently, and had it installed in about an hour. They were very thorough, and I was glad that they installed it for me, though they installed it at the beginning of June when it should've been May 27th. (As a side-note, Best Buy put it on sale about a week afterwards, and a friendly agent was nice enough to refund the 50 dollar difference to me. Good on you Best Buy!) Overall, this washer is a very good purchase, it's solidly built and does the job well. I'd suggest this to people who need a steam washer, and I am satisfied with my purchase and it fits well in my washing room.

I love my new washer! I purchased the champagne color and it’s beautiful! It’s simple to use and I love that it’s front loading. It’s very difficult for me to reach down into a top loader. Also, having the pedestal to raise the washer to eye level is great.

I really like this Samsung 4.5 washer. I got the champagne color and it looks very nice with the matching dryer stacked side by side. I am amazed with the size of the drum and how much clothes I can wash in it. It’s large enough to wash a king size comforter, no problem. It’s easy to figure out because the dial is clearly labeled. You have the flexibility of making adjustments on water temperature, spin and rinse cycles. It is pretty quiet while it’s going through the spin cycle compared to other models that are pretty noisy. The Vibration regulator works very. The close come out smelling fresh and clean. If you notice a smell in your washer when you first get it, throw in Downy Unstopables.

My 4.5 cubic feet high efficiency washer is quiet, uses less water and has many, many features. I've learned to customize my wash cycles to fit my needs. If I can figure it out anybody can! I love the champagne color which gives the look of real stainless steel.

I've owned this for a little over a month now. It's super efficient and silent. Absolutely love it. Looks great!

This machine washes clothes in record time but you don't sacrifice the clean clothes. I even had socks that I had for a while and they were dirty and stained on the bottom. This machine even took out the old stains. It is a great purchase!

When it worked, it worked well…but I expect that when I buy a brand new NOT CHEAP washing machine, that it’ll last with regular use for longer than 2 years. Out of nowhere it started rattling like it was going to take off into space. When Geek Squad came out to inspect, they found a manufacturing defect. According to everyone I talked with throughout the process, this has commonly occurred with Samsung Washers. The counterbalance snapped off and punched a hole in the drum and diaphragm of the unit and totaled the machine in one fell swoop.
