Excellent color definition TV. Very few UHD & HDR telecasts from my cable provider. However, ESPN broadcasts appear close to UHD image quality. TV's speaker position provides better sound projection than rear mounted speakers in standard HD LED sets. Combination of Samsung's Smart BluRay DVD player with this smart set is easy install and significant upgrade to DVD picture quality.

My second SAMSUNG Smart TV. Easy to learn how to use. Beautiful picture, great sound & perfect size for my area. The 2017 model remote is easy to use.

I got the TV for my office/gaming set-up (see pic below). I have PS4 Pro attached to it for "4K" gaming. The TV has pretty good quality screen that has decent brightness and HDR for it's size. MU7000 series is mid-tier Samsung model, but it has almost everything that MU8000 has except for higher brightness setting. The TV looks very nice when it's wall mounted. The tyzen software is very quick and smart. It automatically recognizes HDMI equipment and labels them. The apps are fast and it supports HBO go and HBO now.

This is the best small TV I’ve ever had. It has ALL the bells and whistles without being bigger than I needed. I’m serious it has functionality and a beautiful look.

Bought this tv for my truck it fit like a glove in my volvo 770 have internet tv and wow what a picture need a sound bar and can raise the roof so far so good takes life on the road well

I did my homework, researched for weeks and compared prices .. Best Buy had the TV I always wanted and at the best price point. I could not be happier with my magnolia Samsung ! It’s stunning and so user friendly.

I’ve only had this TV for 2 years and the screen started going dark on the right side. There are also more dark spots shooting up from the bottom. I even have pictures. I am so disappointed & dissatisfied. Mo other older 32” Samsung is perfect. Very annoying while watching many shows...

This is a replacement to a 42 inch Panasonic Plasma TV. I tried the Sony 49 inch 4K HDR TV. Given that I use a PS4Pro, it kinda felt automatic to stick with the same Sony brand. Sadly, I was not satisfied due to the overwhelming sized Android apps. The set up with my receiver, cable box, game console got tedious, intimidating and frustrating that it seemed I had more trouble putting the TV and my other electronics all together to reach a seamless sync. I did notice color bleeding too, by the way. In addition, I wasn't thrilled of the screen size since my apartment is small. Not happy and satisfied so I returned it. I then decided to switch to this Samsung 40 inch model, (after seeing a Demo in Magnolia). It is a slight downgrade in size from my former TV and must admit, I was also a bit worried that I might go through the same setup scenario like the other brand. I do spend a lot of my entertainment time on my PS4 Pro. Who wants to literally jump on your seat to jump and glide while playing a game? The 49 inch made me do that.... The Samsung 40 inch was the perfect size (not too big, not too small) and not to forget, stunning picture clarity. I can definitely say, I have no regrets on returning the other brand. The setup on this Samsung model was a breeze, the quality of the picture like I mentioned above is stunning. Coming from a Plasma with 1080p resolution and switching to 4K resolution was worth the jump, let me repeat- worth the jump and I'm absolutely positive my PS4 Pro thought the same. Bottomline: Very happy and satisfied with this model. Great job on this one Samsung. This model is a gem.

So far this tv is well worth the sale price. It was a very simple to install. I have had good experiences with Samsung TVs. I called Best Buy customer service and the representative was awesome and helped my decide between the few TVs I was considering. I have an entertainment center and this tv is the one that would fit my entertainment center and have the largest screen size. All other TVs I would had had to go down 1 screen size to fit in the center, so I am very happy about that. I have a problem with my WIFI reaching my living room strong enough to use a smart TV so I purchased an extender from Best Buy. Keep this in mind if it’s your first smart TV placed in a different room from your modem. My Samsung in the bedroom with the modem works perfectly. One drawback is there are no buttons on the TV so DO NOT misplace the remote.

I had some space constraints for my new 4k tv. I was particularly getting this to go with my new xbox x so I also need the 4k and HDR10 also. This was one of the few tvs that came in a size under 50". I chose the 40" model as it would best fit the space available, not only in width, but also in height. The picture is clean crisp and bright. You can tell the difference. The one complaint I had wasc that I had some trouble finding a few of the hdr related settings in order to turn them on. All in all I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought the TV to replace an older Samsung 1080 TV. The lack of thick borders makes it ideal for the guest room Armoire. It doesn't have some of the higher end features that other Samsung 4K TV's have but for the price it is a fantastic tv. Movies, sports, video games all look fantastic. As stated above, this is a secondary TV. I wouldnt put it in my living room or anything but great for guest rooms or your kids room especially for the price.

Bought this TV for my bedroom and could not be happier. I wanted a 40" with both 4K and HDR, and this fit that perfectly. Paired with the new Apple TV 4K, the picture quality is absolutely stunning. I am even blown away by the sound quality from the TV itself, no sound bar is needed. Fair warning, I will say that out of the box the picture settings needed to be adjusted. These menus are slightly overwhelming, however, upon googling this model I was able to find a guide to follow which helped me achieve optimal settings. Overall if you're looking for a smaller TV with all the latest capabilities, this 40" Samsung is your answer.

It is the best picture you can get on a 40 inch. The brushed metal frame is a really nice touch. Has one of the easiest setups and menu systems. Love the remote and when you plug in a device it finds it and programs the remote. One remote for everything!

The television was very easy to set up and get working. The compact remote works well but doesn't control all aspects of the Verizon set top. The picture is fantastic and works well with a Samsung blue ray player

I had an lg 43uh6030 and barely a year later the image was dimming and half the screen had a bad blue tint regardless of what I did. I pick up the 40” version of this one and love it. Great picture quality, bright image, beautiful HDR and SDR colors.

This was the smallest 4k available. My porch isn't very large so I needed a 32", but this 40" was it. Very easy set up. Tv found my WiFi easily and the menu also was easy. 4k on WiFi is great, and 1080p is good, too. The 1080p on my Panasonic plasma tv is better, but not by much. Sound quality is excellent. I have to keep the volume down unless there are landscaping equipment running nearby. Btw, though the tv isn't weather proof this is on a screened in porch, but I bought a cover for it. That works well for most occasions. I did take the tv inside during hurricanes. So far internet apps come up easily. Netflix and Amazon prime work well. The small remote is ok. Took a while to get used to it, but no problems. Directv remote works with my Genesis II system perfectly. Overall a really nice Samsung product.

I wanted a TV for my bedroom that would not be like being in the movie theater in my bed. 43"- 45" perfect. The picture is perfect sound is better than most on the market. I purchased a Bose sound bar at the same time and return the sound bar because believe it or not the TV speakers were load enough by themselves. I HATE the new REMOTE! If you had old Samsung TV keep your remote! My old one stoped working and I which I could find it online the new ones are garbage.

I went online to a lot of sites that have done a review on this television. I was in the market for a new tv and it was between this one and the Sony 43 inch with hdr. This tv is amazing! It has excellent color reproduction, very deep dark blacks with bright whites. It’s also he perfect size for a bedroom which is what I’m using it for. I highly recommend this set and to also pair it with the Samsung sounds be that Best Buy has in sale the m430 I believe is the model. Don’t hesitate if you’re in the market for this size 4K tv with hdr it cannot be beat!

I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the picture with this TV. I am running a new PS4 Pro on this TV and the combination of 4K and HDR support is top notch. Setup was also a breeze, the on-screen step-by-step instructions really helped. My only knock on this TV was the number of menus and settings that I had to sift through to get it set up correctly for my needs. It is worth noting, HDR IS NOT ENABLED AUTOMATICALLY. I had to apply HDR support to the HDMI input I was using for my PS4.
