Amazing TV For an Amazing Price

Our primary TV is a 65" Samsung 4K Ultra with HDR TV with HDR and we simply love everything about it. We just moved into a new home and we have a room with an elliptical and we needed a smaller TV, with excellent specifications and we just didn't want to spend a fortune.
Since we've had such great success with Samsung TV's, it was an easy choice to buy the Samsung 43" 7 Series - 4K UHD TV. It's a fantastic TV, but even more amazing is the price. Just a few years ago, we bought a 40" LCD HD TV and paid a small fortune for it. Technology has long since passed it by, but when you consider this TV cost about 1/10th the price of that 40" TV back then, this Samsung is beyond an exceptional value. I MEAN BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL.
It features an ultra fast 4K processor, with what they call a Crystal Display for stunning colors. The photo I posted is testament to that for sure. It's HDR (High Dynamic Range) for exceptional blacks and with the Tizen Operating System, it's super easy to use and donwload smart apps.
We aren't even using a cable box with this Smart TV. We're Spectrum Customers and the setup of the TV managed to sign into our Spectrum account during the setup using Samsung's Smart Things App. Because the TV is on our home network, we can stream everything we want, without being tethered to anything. It's amazingly simple and works wonderfully. I didn't even need to read the owners manual to get everything up and running exactly the way I wanted. Nice!
Samsung makes some of the best TV's you can buy. This 43" TV is simply an awesome value that provides performance which was unimaginable just a few years ago for so little money!

Went looking for a 43" TV for a guest bedroom. Came down to four then picked this one. Glad we did. Easy to set up and connect to wi-fi. Connected an external TV antenna and picking up a ton of over the air stations and then some. Like that the remote has number buttons on it and not just up and down arrows. Good picture. A little different to get used to because our last TV was 15 years old and a Samsung plasma. Having just two hdmi ports works for what we need and don't mind that it is a 2020. Price was what I wanted to spend. I would recommend this TV.

Bought this as a replacement for my old TV that renders up breaking and can confidently say after almost 3 years of use still one of the best I’ve ever had! Fantastic picture quality and very easy to navigate smart menu, very easy to connect to wifi and watch YouTube on as well as games on pc and consoles. Also has a great volume range. Doesn’t weigh too much so it was very easy to mount on the wall as well. Highly recommend this TV!

This is an excellent TV for non-primary use like a bedroom. Picture quality is good and sharp. Colors are good. Doesn't hold a candle to our main TV, but I wouldn't expect it to given it was 10% of the price. The processor is not as fast as the 8 series which we use in another bedroom but if you have a little patience you get used to it. Just have to wait a half second after pressing a smart TV option on the remote. That's really the only gripe with it, but again, at its price point... that's not really a fair complaint.

Over the years, I have owned several Samsung TVs so I've become familiar with the manufacturer's internal software & the general options it has. The primary reason I purchased this particular model is b/c of the price & the brand. Yes, I could have chosen a TV of a different brand but felt safer sticking w/ a brand I'm familiar with. I know the picture & sound quality will meet my predetermined expectations had the option of picking a TV made by another company, but decided against it b/c of my already established familiarity with the brand. Now I want to be clear about something up front... as long as the quality of what appears on the TV & the sound quality isn't HORRIBLE then I'm happy. I'm far from being one of these techie guys that knows enough about TV technology to talk about the quality of certain things & know their stuff. If you have a soundbar or speakers that have Bluetooth, you can easily connect them to this TV!

Everything about my purchase has been awesome. This tv is a smart tv. I can get Netflix, Disney plus, Hulu etc. I get notifications from my Samsung refrigerator when the door is left open. The tv gets pretty loud but I’d suggest getting a sound bar to save the tv speakers. The screen is bright and vivid with color. It’s pretty quick to respond to remote commands. I also love the fact that you can use the smart things app to control the tv. This is my fourth new Samsung tv and I’m still impressed with the quality and features Samsung provides. This device is easy to assemble and it’s quick to set up with wifi and your Mobile phone if you do not wish to physically log into your subscription services. This is a great buy if you’re looking for a television that’s pretty inexpensive(320.00) at the time of my purchase. I give it two thumbs up!

This purchase is for a bedroom and isn't my main TV. In the photo, on the left you'll see a circa 2011 Samsung model UN46D6300 that uses its 2011 original remote control model AA59-00443A (the left and larger remote in the 2nd photo).
I used the 2011 model to calibrate the picture on the 2022 Model. While it nearly impossible to tell from the photo and I'm not totally surprised, but the picture quality, color and remote on the 2011 46" are still better than the 2022 43" just purchased. I'm not sure why, but my hunch is the older model has a heavier-duty chassis and higher quality components (although the 2011 model is significantly heavier and needs 2 people to safely move). The photo was taken after the tweaking when, the color, contrast, etc on the 2022 model were fine for my bedroom use.
I've seen other folks complaining about the remote that ships with the UN43TU7000FXZA. I'm in total agreement, and Samsung should address this . . . soon. This is one of those things that may seem trivial to Samsung and / or a way to save money but my sense it's creating unnecessary bad-will with customers. This remote has done so with me.
As a suggestion to Samsung, a couple of constructive ideas would be to re-engineer the remote with a couple features on the Insignia N10 Series TVs I looked at. The Insignia's use remote NS-RC4NA-16 with these buttons: a separate sleep switch with settings for 5, 10, 15, 30, 60, 90, 120, 180, or 240 minutes, and a separate subtitle / closed caption button. The cc/vd button on the remote for the UN43TU7000FXZA forces you into an annoying electronic voice from which you have to exit before getting to the CC on/off radio button. An annoyance in a darkened room.
While both TVs were next to each other for calibration, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the 2011 46" remote model AA59-00443A works with all the standard non-smart TV functions on the 2022 model. I just ordered one from Newegg and will be using the 2011 model remote on the 2022 TV. I was unable to try the Samsung TV Plus features with the old remote for the reasons in the next paragraphs.
I'll let readers review know I don't really NEED any smart TV features for the bedroom TV but tried setting up the smart features using my iPhone, the Samsung app and related account. As a retired bank IT security guy, I will NEVER trust the security of the wi-fi flash memory code for ANY entertainment device (Samsung, Sony, LG or any other brand) on my main home wi-fi network that I use for banking, tax returns etc.
I also have a guest network. I connected my iPhone to my guest network and intentionally set a simple guest network password, such as 123456abcdefg. The iPhone immediately connected to the guest network, I scanned the QR code on the TV and tried to connect the TV to the guest network. Several times. Then I got a Samsung tech support chat going. Based on the chat, I tried resetting the TV's wi-fi settings twice with no success. Then I invested the time to re-set the entire TV a couple of times, changing the guest wi-fi password to other no-brainer passwords. There was no luck at any time. This simply reaffirmed my lack of comfort with the wi-fi code and features that all home entertainment companies promote. There will never be wi-fi or any smart features activated on this bedroom TV.
So go ahead and purchase one. With a little patience you CAN tweak the picture controls to get a very nice image. Nevertheless, I still recommend getting the remote AA59-00443A: the buttons are larger, MUCH easier to navigate and there's a panel light (the button on the upper right corner).

I’ve always owned Samsung TVs since the dawn of flat screens hit the shelves. Though I did consider another big brand, I stayed with Samsung because of quality and reliability. That said, if I could have afforded it, I would have gotten a better, more advanced Samsung model that I loved in the store, especially since I don’t replace these things often. But this model does not disappoint and I’m happy to save the extra $200-400 bucks!
The negative: 1. I live in a studio apartment and yet the sound is not good. Even on older models I’ve owned, it’s just not good. Now that it’s AC season, it’s horrible! I’m getting a sound bar, but resent the need for it vs. the desire to create a theatrical experience. From what I’ve read on review sites, this is pretty typical.
2. When I go to a certain network app for the local news, it’s the only channel that makes me have to hike up the volume to 100 with the AC on, 80 otherwise!
3. So here’s where I give my age away, but this is my first “smart” TV and I just don’t like it. I assumed this was the future for all TV’s, so figured I’d better get one now than he forced to buy another RV in a couple of years. I assume that if I was of a younger generation who was brought up with computers, smart phones, streaming, and gaming, then the functionality of a smart TV is no big deal. But as I own a Fire Stick, I wish I would have played around on a smart TV at the store first because I might have saved more money buying a regular old TV after all. I find all the app switching around completely cumbersome. It takes almost TWO minutes just to pull up the news! I’m going to find my antenna and see if I can remedy this frustration.
Positive: great picture, decent price for the quality, and in my experience, Samsung TV’s last forever.

Hi Emotogram,
We really appreciate you taking the time to write a review and provide feedback on your Samsung TU7000 TV.
To adjust the sound and volume setting, there are several volume features you can enable/disable/adjust.
1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input.
2) Adaptive Volume automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source.
3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode
Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might be set too low. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.
It is possible to access your favorite app quickly. You can do this by using the Autorun Last App feature to automatically start the last app you used once the TV is turned on.
To enable this feature, follow the steps below: 1) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Smart Hub 2) Enable the Autorun Smart Hub feature 3) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Last App 4) Enable the Autorun Last App feature
I hope this helps!

Great TV for its value. Have 2 of these models. Like that they are slim and look great for the living room or even in the kitchen. Speaker lever is not the best but most tv aren't either. This tv has a Bluetooth connection that you can connect an external speaker or headphones to enjoy.

Picture is great. The sound could be a little louder. Sound is very clear and of quality. However when I want to watch a movie I feel like its missing some depth. I have not watched any live sports on it yet (thanks COVID). I'm hoping for no lag time. I have used the Xfinity app which is decent. However some of the lower grade channels (Freeform, AMC etc) tend to freeze up. I don't usually watch those channels so I'm okay as long as sporting events don't. I do wish that the tv remote would light up.

I've waited 6 months to review this product. The TV was purchased for a screen porch, which is used 12 months a year. Through the first 6 months, it has performed as expected. Smart functions work as advertised, the picture is great for outdoors. This TV is a value priced item. I've been very satisfied with Samsung products, my 4th Samsung Smart TV, each one gets better.

I love this tv. It’s slim and lightweight and was very simple to set up. The interface is very user friendly. The only thing I have an issue with is the small delay when clicking buttons on the remote. Picture quality is good, and sound is pretty great, I haven’t needed to hook up my sound bar so far.
