I recently upgraded to the Samsung 5.5 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Smart Top Load Washer, and it’s been a complete game-changer for my household. The sleek ivory finish gives it an elevated, modern look that fits beautifully into my laundry room—it's almost too stylish to call an appliance! The capacity is incredible. With 5.5 cu. ft., I can easily wash large loads, including bulky items like bedding and towels, saving me time and effort. The Auto Dispense System is a brilliant feature—it automatically adds the right amount of detergent and softener for each load, so I don’t have to guess or measure, which makes life that much easier. One of the standout features for me is the Smart Connectivity. Controlling and monitoring cycles through my phone has been so convenient—whether I’m busy at home or out running errands. I can get notifications when the cycle is done and even schedule a wash. Efficiency and technology combined beautifully. Performance-wise, this washer delivers. Clothes come out clean, fresh, and barely damp, which shortens drying time. The cycles are quiet, and the machine handles delicate fabrics with care, yet has enough power to tackle tougher stains. Samsung has really thought of everything with this washer—it's efficient, smart, and stylish. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their laundry routine.

We had GE front load washer(purchased less than 3 months from another appliance company). The GE front load washer sounded like it was going to explode on the spin cycle (it sounded extremely unbalanced). We had called warranty technician a few times and they would put 6 towlels in and run the washer, ultimately they “could not duplicate” the issue and the noise was “well” within GE requirements. So we pivoted and took a leap on purchasing and replacing our brand new GE set with Samsung and we love the washer and dryer. Clothes come out looking clear, the washer is not noisy at all. Yes it makes some sounds but for me i can hear the water draining morw than anything else. Setting up smart thing app was incredibly easy for this tech challenged reviewer. We are still learning all the functionality features. So far this set is awesome! Bye GE forever and hello Samsung. Hopefully this set will last at least 7 years. We have only had the set about 1 week. We did purchase the extra warranty with Best Buy just in case.

Large capacity, auto dispenser, great looking and easy delivery delivery, and install installation from Best Buy. This is the second Samsung washing machine we purchased. This one replaces our old LG machines. We Purchased one for upstairs about a year ago and liked it so much we got this one for the downstairs..

This washer is our best friend, its used 3 times a day 5 days a week. We wash alot of bedding and towels, it has yet to disappoint! 10 out of 10. I just bought the matching dryer!

I finally understand the 1950's commercials with the housewives who are just so excited to do household chores! Not quite, but I was very excited to finally come across this washer at our local BestBuy Outlet, completing the set with the matching dryer which we've had for some time. The barrel on this baby is HUGE, like laundromat huge - I'm 5'6" and have to stand on tiptoe to barely reach the bottom. Another interesting feature is there is no agitator (sometimes I do wonder how clean things really get without one) although that's actually the only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars as things somehow still tend to get very stretched and tangled, particularly long items like pants, dresses and skirts. You don't have to download the free app, but you'll need it if you really want to utilize the most features ("recipes" for specific types of loads)!

So far this machine has been awesome. Washes a load of clothes in no time . The automatic detergent and fabric softener dispenser has already saved us money by putting just the right amount of both in a load , instead of completely filling a tray every load . And the WiFi functionality is an awesome addition.

It's very automated, but simple to use.. The auto detergent dispenser is pretty awesome and makes life is easy!

Great washer.Just make sure that you're just the height.Before the person who is installing, it leaves in that you also have the hoses. It is quiet and quick.

It has a larger washing capacity and washes clothing very clean with the washing cycles including bluetooth features.

I decided to try a top loading washing machine and the Samsung 5.5 Cu. Ft. smart, high efficiency washer is a beauty. It has many settings to handle wash exactly the way you want, and you have access to smart features with your smart phone. Very cool and love the gold trim and black glass lid.

Just don’t buy from BestBuy, you might receive the worst buying experience ever like us. So BestBuy hire these no-uniform, no-BestBuy logo, third party contractors to deliver and install your appliances. They unloaded our washer with front end facing the dolly, causing 2 big dents before installation. I asked the guy and he said: “just call BestBuy, they will get you a replacement or a discount!” And he refused to take the washer back. After the installation we found out the hot and cold water hoses were installed incorrectly, so the washer will not start to run! I called BestBuy to addressed these issues, the girl over the phone told me that they’re sorry and will arrange for replacement as soon as possible, this was nine days ago, I did not receive any phone calls from them, no emails, no nothing! We spent over two grand for the washer and dryer combo that we can’t even use because of the unprofessional installation, and these guys they just don’t care!!!

Things I love about this washer: large basin with no center piece, quiet and the smart features. It is easy to learn how to use. The autofill for detergent and softener are convenient if you want to use them. I use Tide Pods, so using the app, I shut off the detergent one. Connecting to the app was simple...the scan code is right on the machine! This was a fantastic upgrade from what I had and I am very pleased! Also, I have bought appliances elsewhere in the past. I only go to Best Buy now because the product choice is great and the delivery is also great....a very important part of getting new appliances!

Very happy with this machine. A great performer. Purchased this along with the matching dryer (DVE55CG7500E). This washer is very quiet and does an excellent job with cleaning. Love the Auto Dispense System. Fill up the compartment and machine releases the correct amount of detergent to match the size of the load your washing. I like the “Colors Cycle”. Washer adds enough water to move the clothes around. No need for the “Deep Fill” option. Normal and quick wash cycle do a great job in cleaning. Was looking at the new LG top loaders. But the controls were very confusing. The control panel on this machine is very user friendly. Very pleased with my selection of this matching Washer & Dryer.
