The TV is a great buy for people who want a quality viewing experience for a moderate price. The TV setup took about five minutes, including about two minutes to install the TV stand. All of the smart features work seamlessly, with the exception of Netflix. The Netflix app often does not load and I have looked up solutions online, but I haven't been able to solve the problem. All other aspects of the TV are great and I think it was a good price for the quality of the TV. I connected a sound bar and the setup was as easy as could be; it connected through the audio/optical port on the tv and sound bar. The remote is easy to use and customization of the apps is quick and painless. There is an auto-brightness feature that I turned off because the TV kept getting too dark to see. Although there are only two HDMI ports, I don't mind because I don't have very much that I need to connect to it.

I bought this TV in November 2017 but only opened the box and set it up January 2, 2018. I LOVE this thing! The picture quality right out of the box is STELLAR. At first I worried that the sound seemed a little muffled-but then I found OPTIMIZED sound and it's PERFECT! It is so easy to use! I can even search the Internet. The manual says it's for a PC but I have a MAC and it works great!!!! Every day I find something new. The remote buttons are so useful. Only thing I don't like about them is they are tiny. I have a Roku streaming player (I do not subscribe to cable TV) and find it easier to just use that then trying to input functions with the tiny buttons. But this TV is in my bedroom so it's dark which accounts for some of that problem. Luckily, I read reviews about the Eco Sensor this TV has. It adjusts the brightness automatically but you can turn it off, which I did. When the light was off, it made the TV screen too dark and I already have problems seeing in the dark. I need light! So every day I learn some new thing about this TV and it just gets better and better. Can't believe my luck finding it! EXTREMELY HAPPY!!!

I went to Best Buy on Thanksgiving day, with intent to get the Sharp 50” 4K for 180. Unfortunately I was just a little too far back in line and didn’t get a ticket. This tv was on sale for $400 though. I’m still not sold on the “smart hub”, and the smart tv os on the Samsung smart tvs. However the picture is fantastic, and does feature HDR. I haven’t played too much on it yet, but from what I have I’m satisfied for the price and size. I just wish some of the premium brands would switch to a Roku, or Fire OS which in my opinion are the top software for TVs unfortunately outside of Sharp they only come on sub par brands. The only other con I see for this tv is the sound. The down fire speakers don’t compare to my 2009/2010 48 inch Vizio 1080p tv. However at the price it’s hard to say anything negative about it, but I certainly wouldn’t pay the 700-800 dollar sticker price for this model.

I was advised not to buy black Friday tv's, but this one was the best one I found. The cheapest with 120 Hz refresh so i took a chance, and for 400$ it was totally worth it so far...obviously I cannot comment on longevity, which will be the main overall aspect I'm looking for, but out of box quality is great...mine is for console gaming only, and my first 4k tv...picture is smooth bright colorful. In gaming mode it was a little bright but the best pre set picture I found, easy to set up and mount on wall, only 2 hd outlets is a small con, and only gripe I have so far...i would recommend to any 1st time 4k'er

The TV picture quality is spectacular and the convenience of it being a smart TV is good. I feel like the stand is a little wider than I expected but not excessive.

We finally decided to replace our plasma TV that was getting too hot but didn't want to spend thousands to get as good of picture quality. We found this one on the Best Buy Black Friday preview ad a couple weeks prior. I read some reviews and the only one that concerned me was someone said watching hockey or football is hard to see the ball or puck. I like watching Wild hockey games so I needed to test this before deciding to keep it. I found the settings to change to make this TV work great and address that problem (auto motion - turn it off). I also turned off audio delay and that fixed another problem. This TV works great and has a very good picture. We'll probably buy the external audio speakers. The internal speakers are ok but you can't adjust the equalizer (treble, base, etc). We'll definitely keep it.

I was looking for a cheaper 4k with hdr TV for the kids rooms so I found these on sale for 400 bucks and got 2 of them which you can't find 4k with hdr built in for that price range normally (at least a name brand) but as I was setting them up I was shocked how good the picture looked almost better than my 65" Curved samsung in the living room that I got 2 father days ago for about 2k.. I don't say this often but I hardly recommend this TV to anyone that needs a bad **s picture without spending so much more money

I’ve had this tv for a week and feel that it is an excellent buy. It was purchased as a bedroom tv; I desire a more “crisp” picture in my family room and would purchase a higher quality set for that.
Pros:
•great price to quality ratio
•4K UHD
•size
•light weight
•good sound
•remote controls Samsung Blu-Ray
Cons:
•picture not super crisp
•remote is crowded, easy to hit the wrong button
•lack of a manual is a pain; using a device takes more time than simply flipping to a page

Found this Samsung UN50MU6070 online the Tuesday BEFORE Thanksgiving. Perfect timing! ONLY $399.99 (Reg. $699) and available for pick up that day! NO Black Friday hassles. Anyway, after mounting and hooking it up, I set up the Wi-Fi connection and tweaked the picture settings. OUTSTANDING picture! Turns out it has their HDR PRO also. Broadcasts, Blu-Rays, and even DVDs look spectacular. Highly recommend it if you can get it, escpecially for this price.

This set replaced a 50" plasma set that I loved, but just died. I chose Samsung because of the reputation and so far I am very pleased. The picture is crisp and the colors are good, but not as good as the plasma was. Some reviews complained about the sound and at first I agreed with them that the sound was poor. Then I adjusted the sound and what a difference. Comes through louder than needed by far. Hope this lasts longer than the plasma did.

Got this TV to serve as a monitor for my computer as well as for watching Blu-ray DVDs. The resolution is noticeably lower than my 28" 4x UHD computer monitor but is comparable to a 1920x1080 28" which makes it quite useable as a monitor for both a Mac notebook and a linux box. Great resolution for viewing Blu-ray discs through a HDMI connection and not bad sound as well. Extremely easy to assemble and connect. Plug and play on my computers.

Beyond all my expectations. Not the top of the line, but excellent value for the price and easily earns 5 stars for all that it is. Easy to use and set up. Great interface and operating system. Energy saver, vibrant colors & beautiful picture. Download Screen Mirroring app and view your phone on the tv. View full screen pics and play media from your phone. Insert usb drives and watch videos of multiple formats. I am enamored with it!

I’m not savvy with technology, nor do I usually care for electronics but when I saw this TV go on sale, I had to snatch it right up. You can never go wrong with a Samsung TV. The picture quality is absolutely beautiful and not to mention, user friendly (referencing the set-up process for apps). I usually turn a ‘NO’ into a ‘MAYBE’ and a maybe into a ‘YES’. I couldn’t say no when I saw this 50” on sale. So it was definitely a YES!

I bought this TV the Saturday before Black Friday and could not be happier with the purchase. I upgraded from a 1080p TV and am amazed at how great the picture quality is. As has been mentioned, this TV DOES have HDR and combined with my new Xbox One S, it looks beautiful compared to my PS4 on my 1080p tv. I have the tv in my small man cave and the sound and size are perfect. Best budget TV around IMO, this is a great 4K tv!

This is my first Samsung TV and I am pleased with the decision to buy this one. Beautiful picture, simple setup and easy smart features. The screen mirroring is handy(with a Samsung cell phone) for watching apps that aren't available on the TV. I needed a TV with a center pedestal stand because of the width of my TV stand. I don't have a 4k device hooked up yet but am looking forward to seeing the picture when I do.

Bought this on Black Friday. Saw the specs and for the 399.99 price point I said let’s see what happens. I got it home and once I had it initially set up I saw that it had HDR pro. Great picture and the sound is really good without a sound bar or surround sound set up. 4K movies look and sound awesome. Very happy with my on the fly purchase. Only minor nit is that I wish it had three HDMI ports vice the two

The TV is Better than I Expected Super Clear Great Picture, the Wifi works Great but sometimes when turn on it doesn't connect for some odd reason so i just turn off and back on and it connects right up to internet. Also its super light weighing only 25lbs my full motion rocketfish wall mount weighs more than the TV does ... but I truly love the tv and am fully satisfied with it. Its a major upgrade from the 32inch I had in my bedroom before I bought this and hung on the wall in my bedroom its like being at the theater in my bed its great also it has great sound which is a must for when dont want surround sound on all the time. The only thing I dont like is it only has 2 HDMI ports wish it had more although I do use a HDMI selector box that turns 1 into 4 hdmi and auto selects for what ever unit I have powered on also I wish it had a VGA port but none of the bigger tvs do nowadays for some dumb reason so I had to buy a special converter for that too to turn vga to hdmi but all is good just lil nitpicks that might help someone else out.
But I do Recommend this tv its Awesome

I am using this TV in my living room and have it set up with Netflix, Amazon video, and PLEX. The picture is super clear and the loading time to open up the smart apps is super fast. Its a great TV that allows you the option of various apps, which is great for me because I currently do not have cable and am only able to stream videos through these apps. Love this TV and so does my family.

I really do love this TV and the smart capabilities it provides. I had a 40" TV in this room but realized how much easier it was to read any sayings on the bottom on my other TVs which are larger. So this 50" TV is great and makes it easier to continue to watch Netflix when I move rooms - I had a TV stick but it quit working. The price was great price too so it made it an easy choice!
