After doing lots of research online before purchasing a television I can honestly I chose the best tv on the market. For the price you cannot beat this television. I have always owned Samsung televisions as they hold true to quality. This is my first Qled and I don’t know why it took me so long. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend this television to everyone!

Good picture quality, but not as highly rated as it seems in the store and easy to operate. Am yet to see the motion and speed as decribed, maybe it’s because have not watched a movie with such speed on it.

This TV has an amazing picture. Almost bought a Sony but due to the price drop on this TV we went for the QLED and I'm extremely happy I did. Great color and picture.

I was hesitant at first, but I'm glad I made the decision to buy my TV. I was torn between the LG OLED and the Samsung QLED; but the QLED has less glare than the OLED. If you stand in the store and try to focus on the glare, its worse with the LG. You can barely see it in the Samsung. The picture is so clear and the graphics are pretty amazing. And it's light and slim, not as slim as LG but slim enough for me. LOVE the ONE BOX! ALL TV's should have the HDMI box so we don't have to reach behind the TV all the time.

I purchased this 55" Samsung 4K QLED TV in earlier May 2018. When I took the TV out of the box and turned it on, I was amazed at the easy setup and the colors immediately popped on screen without any tweaking. I also purchased the Sony UBPX800 Ultra 4K bluray player after my XBOX 4K player left me feeling like something was missing from the viewing experience. This Sony UBPX800 player brought a totally new experience to this TV. I played an old Lethal Weapon bluray movie (non-4K) and the upscaling made the movie look like it came out in 2018. There no "snow" effect in the movie as I experienced with the XBOX 4K player. The navigating around the TV is easy and the TV is a sexy piece of art work on your TV stand or wall. Please be careful when removing the TV now or in the future. The thin frame and body of the television will mean you'll be replacing this TV in no time due to damage. If this TV bump into anything it's likely to be damaged. I'm in love with this television design, 4K picture quality with HDR, 1 connect box, device HDMI auto recognition, and the simple menu design. In closing, some reviewers have mention experiencing motion blur with sport or temporary black screens when gaming. I've not experienced these issues with gaming nor sports viewing. I'd recommend possibly turning off certain menu settings. Enjoy! : )

I was very excited when I purchased this TV. Everything looks amazing ,especially if you’re gaming. Then I turned my tv on one morning and the screen no longer worked. I purchased my TV on 02/16/2018,not even two months ago and it’s broken. Oh and thank you Best Buy for not replacing the TV, $1,200 down the drain. I wouldn’t recommend this TV or Best Buy. The customer service at my store in Austin ( Mueller Airport)is horrendous. Long story short I was told i’m Out of luck and i’m now a not so proud owner of a broken TV.

I just recently purchased this TV for $999 from Bestbuy. I bought this to replace an older tv I had in my bedroom. I will mostly be talking about picture quality, these are just my opinions.
I also have 2 other tv's in my home that I purchased earlier this year, and LG oled65b7, and a samsung 55mu8000.
The Q6F and mu8000 are similar panels on paper when comparing specs, but are totally different when it comes to raw picture quality. The mu8000 is a fine panel, but the picture quality of the Q6F is on whole different level. The Q6F image is more sharper and clear, it's black levels are also really good even for an edge lit panel. There is more depth and dimension of the image that is alot better than the mu8000. Im no expert but this may be due to the quantom dots and almost 100% color coverage of the q6f. The mu8000 looks like it has around 85 to 90% color coverage. For the difference in price I think the q6f is worth the difference if you can find it for $999 or cheaper.
Now on to comparing the q6f against my oledb7. Dark room performace seems to be better on the b7 vs q6f, and that's about it. I think the q6f color, brightness and sharp image is much better than the b7.
I do not notice and abnormally banding or small image defects on the q6f, it is a very clean looking picture, in light or dark enviroment.
The q6f is now in my bedroom which is completely dark and has no ambient light on in it during the evening hours. I watch movies and see almost little to no light bleed on the blackbars when watching movies. I watched John Wick 2 last night and I was blown away by the picture quality in a dark room.
Also im using Apple Tv 4k box on the q6f. Watching Youtube tv looks more sharp and clean compared to my 2 other tv's.

Remarkable Purchase

I spent weeks pondering the purchase of a new television, and this was a fantastic choice! I had not purchased a TV since 2010 when I bought a 32” LCD Vizio. Surprisingly, this affordable TV was still working perfectly, but I was ready for a change. I started looking at all the various options of 4K televisions along with the manufacturers. Everyone seems to have an opinion between manufacturers, so I started to hone in on what they could offer for quality and price, size, 4K HDR, and LED versus QLED. After looking a bit, I knew I wanted to get a TV with HDR so that narrowed down the options. Then, I was between 65” and 55” along with LED versus QLED. With further investigation, talking to sales representatives at BestBuy, along with a few friends, I narrowed it down to one option, a 65” LED. However, as I went to purchase the 65”, I stumbled upon this 55” QLED. This became a conundrum given the QLED being more affordable, but a smaller screen size. I finally decided to just give in and order one of them. I chose the 55” QLED because a tiny part of me thought that maybe 65” would be a bit large for my space, compared to the quality that would come with a QLED.
For this price, I could not be happier. The TV is a fantastic size and the picture is superb. When it comes down to it, you can compare all the different image quality in the store, but a comparison will not matter once in your home. Let me just say, once in my home, this TV picture is wonderful. The only 4K HDR content I have watched on this television so far is Netflix (which is easily assessable through the Samsung interface) and it is beautiful! If you are looking for a moderately priced, 55” 4K, fantastic television with QLED, this is it!

Once this QLED special edition was advertised for $999 on sale from $1499 I knew a great value was being created so I capitalized on the opportunity to break into the upper echelon of quantum dot technology. The Q7 or the introductory LG OLED's were priced at $1699+ so the value was blatantly clear. Moot point to find any negatives with a product like this. It would take a real miserable person to find petty flaws in this piece of technology, it's absolute perfection. Excellent modern design with what appears to be a brushed nickel sort of finish. The menu navigation is streamlined and intuitive. And I rather like the minimalist controller; very little need for 90℅ of buttons on a larger clunky remote anyway. Samsung produces the most life-like, natural picture over Sony or any other brand. 4K HDR looks like gazing through a window. Speakers are excellent too, they sound just as potent as an introductory model soundbar (in the 300 dollar range).

This tv exceeded my expectations in every way. The color quality is like nothing I have ever seen. I find myself frequently zoning out from my game or movie and admiring the colors... It also gets extremely bright which seems like a rare thing with TVs today. The upscaling is great from 1080. The smart features are very quick, much faster than my PS4,roku, or fire stick. Even the way it turns off is cool. I typically get buyers remorse and question my purchases, not with this. It’s been 2 months and this thing still amazes every time I use it.

I looked at the Samsung Q6 and the Sony 900E. After reading the reviews I decided on the Q6. The TV had a beautiful picture and the remote picked up my Fios box on it's own and was very easy to use (6 buttons). The one thing I didn't like was you could not put a sound bar in front of the TV, the legs are to low and the bar blocks part of the TV. Also the power bar/block mainly has HDMI slots and does not have any A/V components in case you want to hook up an old game system, camera, etc. I ended taking it back because it made a loud pop when I turned it on and off. I tried the Sony 900E and I'm glad I did. I believe the picture is a little bit nicer on the Sony than the Samsung. The remote is not as easy as the Samsung's but you get use to it. Plus I use my Fios remote. Both TV's are nice, but in my opinion the Sony is a little better.

This TV is absolutely Awesome for the Price. I have to say that The Best Buy Store in Coon Rapids MN is the best Customer Service I have ever received. I have living Room that unfortunately has a lot of light and there is ambient light pretty much all day and I have struggled to find a TV that would work. Luckily Best Buy is one of the few Stores that understands Customer Service and they are willing to work with customers so that they are guaranteed a perfect TV for their living environment and they will exchange TV’s if need be so that the customer is completely satisfied. This is the main reason I only buy all of my electronics with Best Buy and being a Elite Rewards memeber has benefits that no other retailer can match.
That was the problem I had. The TV’s I bought at the store didn’t look as good once I got them home because of how much light my living room has so I went through about three different TV’s until I finally got the right one.
I have nothing bad to say about this TV at all and I highly recommend it. I will be bringing it back though because I bought the Sony 930e only because it gets brighter than this one and this QF6 gets plenty bright but I want something just a little brighter for my living room since it has sunlight shining all day on it. I wish I could keep both because this one it absolutely gorgeous but the Sony 930e is just a little better but it is also $500 more as well so for most people this probably is the better option but for me the Sony won out just because I have all Sony Products that work with the Sony TV better and I needed something a little brighter but I have no qualms about saying this TV is a MUST BUY for the price.

I currently have 5 TV's so I am writing this based on my experiences with other TV's that may be more or less expensive. I have a Sony 65" Flat Screen from 2016, two LG OLED's from 2016, a Gen 1 LG 4K TV, and this one.
The clarity on this TV is nice. I have this TV wall mounted with a movable arm, so I'm not sure how much value there is with the 360 hiding of the wires, but it does create one annoyance for me, the TV has a separate small box that all of the inputs connect to. Now, to be fair, I have a flush, fixed TV mount for my 65" OLED that I HATE because I can never get to the inputs as the TV is so close to the wall. (Why do I need to access the wires so much you ask? Simple. I bought the TV in 2016 and it supports Dolby Vision and HDR but every device I buy that supports those standards appears to need a better grade of cable EVERY TIME! HAHAHA!)
Anyways, back to the TV. The setup was incredibly easy with my Galaxy SmartPhone and the Smart Things app. I didn't even have to put in my wifi code. The built in Netflix App requires that you enter your entire username and password to login, which is fine, but nowadays I have gotten so used to the simplicity of registering with the 4 Digit Code, that this was a little cumbersome considering how long and complex my Netflix password is and you use the TV remote to type. This isn't a huge deal though because hooking up my XBOX and the TV's ability to integrate with it was amazing. The TV even added a link on the App panel that was color coded and used the XBOX logo for that input. (It's a small detail, but nice.)
I felt like the black levels watching Netflix, YouTube, and other things were not as great as my LG OLED, but I didn't expect it to be better than the OLED. I started playing Forza and wound up playing for 6 hours before I realized it. The integration with the XBOX was amazing!
The price was great for what you get. I paid $999 on sale.

So I purchased the 55” Sony 900e for 1000 was very impressed with picture but hated the Android UI, and being that my last tv was Samsung and fell in love with Tizen I returned the Sony after a week. By this time the Q6Fprice was 1300 so I settled for the MU8000 which was 899, The MU8000 was a very good tv but wasn’t good as the Sony so I decided I was gonna return it and Just drop the money on a Qled. Well to my surprise the Q6F was only 1000 so I purchased it. I was highly impressed by the picture quality and brightness. The hdr looks great on my Xbox ONE X and the one connect box is great for my setup
