Decent TV I brought back in 2019. I Still have it. I mainly use it to play Xbox. The quality is good but technology upgraded a lot since then.

    Nice upgrade from KS9000

When I decided to start looking at possibly upgrading my UN55KS9000 I was 90% sure it would be another Samsung. So when I saw the Q6F for $300 off its normal price I started doing some research. Well after alot of reviews reading, forum browsing, Youtube videos, and 2 trips to Bestbuy to check it out in person I bought it. After getting it all set up and testing it a few days I have to say its definitely a worthy upgrade. And its $800 less than I paid for my KS9000 a few years ago. The picture is outstanding. I did some side by side comparisons of some Netflix 4K HDR and the Q6 is much better. One of the main reasons I was 90% sure it would be another Samsung is because I love Tizen. One of the salesman tried to steer me towards a Sony for some reason, but I just do not like Android TV. I love their phones, but just dont like Android on TVs. I love the way Samsungs Tizen OS handles sources. I have A LOT of things connected, and use two separate 3 port HDMI splitters to connect all my consoles, PC, Directv, etc. And the TV handles all the sources perfectly. I dont have to change any settings, or even rename them. It just works. And the same is here on the Q series. Tizen looks a little different, but is overall the same in 2018. And since I was already using it on the KS I didnt have to learn anything here. Even the remote is almost the same. I also like the overall looks of the TV for the most part. The front (the important part) looks great. Very slim bezels and almost all screen. If I had to nitpick I do not like the look of the back. It looks like cheap plastic (which it is). And the lines look funky in my opinion. I do like the cable management system, although with all the cables I have connected its impossible to hide all of them. But I am not wall mounting so no big deal here. The motion handling, and input lag in gaming mode is amazing as well. Games are so smooth and look great. No lag at all. If you are like me and am thinking about possibly upgrading a KS, or similar model in my opinion go for it. Its well worth it. For me it has been a great decision. Highly recommended. Thanks for reading.

This TV was an upgrade from a regular HD TV. I did a ton of research and this TV always came up as one of the best 4K smart TV’s. The picture is just amazing. If you watch nature shows you will be blown away by the color and the picture quality. I will warn you that you will be spending time trying to configure the TV to get the picture just the way you like. You will find a ton of info online about configuring this TV in a way that matches your viewing habits. If you mostly watch normal TV shows and movies you will configure it way differently than if you watch tons of sports. Be prepared to spend time getting it just right. I really like how easy it is to go between all the apps. You just hit the home key on the remote. We mostly watch Dish and Amazon Prime Video. My son watches gaming videos on YouTube. Very easy to bounce back and forth between them. Even my wife figured it out!!!! I will say I didn’t really like using the universal remote for Dish Network watching. The Dish remote is easier. I can’t really speak to the speakers because we have a N650 Samsung sound bar attached. Buy the way, the sound bar and TV work very well together.

The Samsung QLED, is my first led tv, and what a picture quality difference. The picture images are clear, crisp and colorful, seeing every detail...almost looking 3D. Every show, even if you have seen them before, becomes new, noticing things you missed before. Sounds are more clear, crisp, volume is enough for me, and has an enhancement setting, to get more. I have no inernet in my area, but hopefully soon, for the use of other options that the QLED is capable of. Did the setup, by myself! Easy, step by step onscreen instructions, did not need to look at a manual. I purchased a LG 4k smart tv, for the bedroom...no comparison, in the picture quality...Samsung QLED blows it away! Would recommend and definitely purchase it again...and probably will!

Best 55" QLED TV for Price, Reviews & Its Gorgeous

I am the type of person that researches EVERYTHING. So...the purchase of a 55" TV took several days. I went online and did some searches on Best 55" TV, and saw a pattern that Samsung and LG brands seemed to get the best ratings. First, we went to Best Buy to get the lowdown on what they had that was 55" and listened to the sales persons recommendation [he recommended the 55" Samsung QLED QN55Q6FNAFXZA) which was $300 off - $799.99]. 3rd we looked around Best Buy and got descriptions on the rest of the 55" TVs there. 4th I went home and I did my research. My husband specified the following were minimums (LED, 2160p, Smart, 4K, UHD, HDR, 3 HDMIs, 120 Hz/240 Motion Rate). Since the Samsung Q6F had the minimums (and instead had 4 HDMIs) it qualified. Then we went to Sam's Club (and online) to see what they had to offer...there was no 55" QLED TV there for $799.99 or under. Then we went to Walmart (and online)...same thing....couldn't compare. I also compared what Amazon.com had...no comparison. We weren't interested in the Curve and weren't ready to spend over $1K for an OLED. Next I went onto various websites to read reviews on the 55" Samsung QN55Q6FNAFXZA. In general it was rated 4.8 out of 5 stars. There were some negative reviews that had to do with using games; Dimming/Brightening, Clicking/Ticking, Vertical Lines, Turning on by Itself, and Bad Support. I was most impressed that Samsung had responded to all the negative reviews, mainly asking the person complaining to contact their support team, and they gave details on how to contact them. Also, since I had personally viewed reviews on over 12 other tv's, it was pretty obvious that every tv gets some bad reviews. Once we decided on the 55" Samsung QN55Q6FNAFXZA, since I found the same tv on Walmart.com for $20 less, I printed out the listing, and took it with me to Best Buy (and got the $20 off via Price Match). So, long story long, we have had the 55" Samsung Q6F for 8 days and couldn't be happier. NO issues with Dimming/Brightening, Clicking/Ticking, Vertical Lines or Turning on by Itself. Knock on wood, if our luck holds out, we made a great decision and believe this will be a great tv for many years to come.

OK, 1st let me say that I "loved" my 2 plasma TV's that this TV replaced. BUT as we all know plasma TV's are no longer available. I researched TV'S for weeks regarding which brand to buy. It finally came down to which of the top TV's I could get the SPECTRUM app with. Although I went into Best Buy for a for cheaper SAMSUNG model the sales me got me to "up" grade to the QF6 series (double the price I was planning on spending). Now if you are watching anything in 4K the picture is stunning. Even the "up-scaling" normal signals are very good. But as I told the BB salesman, I am into sports or movies. Hence my upgrade to the QF6 model. "It's all about the refresh rate or motion". LOL, don't let anyone kid you, I can't speak for all 4K TV'S but this one has NOT reached the Plasma TV refresh rate. My guess is nobody has. Now don't get me wrong I am still giving this TV 4 stars, regarding ease of use, remote control, picture, apps, start up/set up, etc..It just didn't replace the motion rate vs. plasma.

I upgraded from a Samsung 8 series to this Q6 TV. The reason why I got rid of my 8 series is because there was some backlight bleed and I was not entirely happy with the TV’s performance in dark rooms. This TV is a slight upgrade, I would strongly suggest you to go for a Q7 if you plan to use the TV in dark rooms. I use it mostly for gaming, and I have to admit it has been amazing so far, colors are superb. Sound is awful, make sure you have a soundbar. Pros: Clean design Amazing Colors Friendly and responsive UI Great for gaming Nice remote Cons: Poor dark room performance Darks could be deeper Samsung customer support is the worst customer support on the known universe

Overall this is a great TV. I was very impressed with the colors and picture adjustments you could choose from. The speakers, I don’t believe, have gone over 1/3 of the total volume since we’ve got it because of the ample amount of sound. I am definitely pleased with that! This tv is used in my kids playroom but I wanted something a little nicer that I could watch from time to time. I was going to go with the model down, 8000 series 50” , but I was informed that the 120 refresh rate from Samsung was not a true 120 and I needed to go 240. Please research this if motion rate concerns you because this is very deceptive on Samsung’s part, hence the 4 star rating. Not to mention I can still notice an ever so slight judder...possibly because the of the extremely crisp colors imitating motion blur combined with Samsung’s motion rate? I am only comparing this to my Sony XBR850. Overall, I prefer the motion rate of the Sony which has, and advertises, a true 120 native motion rate. To get the same size Sony you are spending over a grand though, and that wasn’t happening. I cut the cord and we are streaming everything. We have been doing good so far with streaming on the Samsung and all the features are very easy to use...including their voice control “Bixby.”

I'm very impressed with this TV. The picture quality is great and the sound is pretty good. Best of all is how fast it is. It instantly connects to apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc. There's no lag or waiting as compared to my old TV (which was only 4 years old). This may partly be due to a higher model version with a faster processor, as compared to a more basic model. But I cannot tell as that is not listed. I also love that it have 4 HDMI connectors. I'm able to connect my cable box, blu-ray player, and 2 game consoles. Most other TVs at lower price points tend to only have up to 2 HDMI connectors. I recommend this TV. and would buy it again. I did buy this on sale.

The picture is amazing. The features are so convenient and easy to use. I love how quick it is to pair with other devices you may have (I have a soundbar, use my iPhone, iPad, MacBook). Very happy with the soundbar I got to go with it. It’s a beautiful look for your home as well. The remote app on your phone is ok. It’s not amazing so I don’t use it much but it’s nice to have. The mirroring function seems to only work with other Samsung devices. Sound on tv is just ok so definitely get a speaker to get with it if you like to listen to music and the game loudly, like me

I'm planning on getting the 65" instead. Qled looks beautiful for games.. TV and movies look good but just a little step up from my LG 60UHD6055 LED.. I think this is perfect for gaming... Colors are Beautiful, brightness is perfect on HDR, as my last TV, hdr was too washed out. But this Q6 colors are beautiful and bright.. The o e thing I hope is that they release an update for HDR GAME MODE,which sucks that it doesn't have it.. And it doesn't switch automatically to HDR, u gotta manually switch but it does switch to gaming mode automatically ... But all with time updates will roll out.... Great Qled..

This TV was a great and easy to set up. The one thing I would say against it would be for gaming. The motion rate is too much for normal consoles. You will definitely have to mess around in the settings and turn off as much of the advanced motion rate as possible. There is also a grey tint along the entire edge of the tv which could possibly be edge bleed but I'm not currently 100% sure. Will update if my issue is resolved.

This 55" QLED TV show a great picture surprising the picture is better in my home than in the store I didn't think that would be possible but hey I'll take it, the set is easy to navigate and the voice control remote makes it a bit more easier, I am an fan of LG TV's but I must say this Samsung QLED has changed my mind and besides when comparing the prices between the Samsung QLED and the LG OLED it was a no brainer

We purchased this Samsung 55" LED 4K for our Beach Condos that are rentals. Guests always comment on how great the picture is. Comparing the picture quality to other higher priced TV's is amazing. The colors are brilliant! So many features with this TV. Samsung is one of the leaders when it comes to TV's. The TV is lightweight and is easy to move with a TV Motion Mount. The smaller remote is easy to operate with one hand.

I absolutely love this product over the LED UHD TV's. The picture is so much sharper than regular LED/UHD TV's and the colors are deeper which is better. The TV is also great for playing games it as everything is super smooth and just awesome. The remote takes a bit t get used to but easy to use once you get used to it. My only complaint is the lack of a Display Port for PC Gamers.

I didn’t realize how lacking in quality of picture my old tv was until I upgraded to the QLED. Even with the base model, I am impressed. My only complain is about the remote control. It’s a universal remote but I still need to use my TiVo remote. I am probably not tech savvy enough to sinc them fully. Other than that, I am very happy with this purchase.
