Customers are impressed with the picture quality, curved screen, and ease of use of this 65-inch 4K Ultra HD TV. Many also appreciate the smart TV functionality and the value for the price. While some users noted glare in certain lighting conditions and a lower refresh rate, the positive feedback on picture quality and features outweighs these concerns. The remote control also received positive comments.

I was nervous about going 4k, non of my consoles or DVD players are 4k capable. I was also nervous about going with such a big screen thinking that I would loose quality, but in fact these larger screens is what 4k is made for. Standard DVD's quality is the worse that I've noticed, which isn't that big of a deal for me since we mostly watch blue rays, which look incredible. As of now I don't have anything that plays UHD movies. The smart TV features are nice with lots of options, which we don't use, renting movies tend to be more expensive on the apps so we opt to going to the rental store or redbox. Netflix is our app of choice, though there 4k selection is pretty limited as of now. Console games are amazing though I wouldn't recommend any real competitive twitch shooters. The remote is simple and unconventional, but it is intuitive. It may become a bother if you are accustomed to using the numbers often, other than that there shouldn't be a problem. We have ours mounted on a wall, being that the TV is curved we don't have a need for a swivel mount, from our kitchen we can completely see the screen without the swivel. The mount does pitch slightly up and down. The color and tones settings are all preset, we have not done any adjustments other than a couple like viewing mode (movie, game, etc...)
Extremely happy with this TV.

I was able to get this TV on sale right after all the X-Mas hoop-lah. Glad I waited. The picture is crystal clear and the set-up is a piece of cake. Connected to wireless sound bar in a snap. It felt like all I did was plug it in and connect it to my home network. Good TV for a great price.

Very good 4K TV, with a tremendous picture quality. I was never a big fan of Samsung, but this TV is simply great - very easy to use (small, but very well thought remote control, which even pilots the Xfinity TV set-top box), very nice design and, most importantly, extremely nice picture quality (the 4K upscaling seems to work nicely, and with my Samsung 4K BluRay player, 4K movies are absolutely stunning).
Overall very recommendable.

Great tv. Awesome picture and easy set up. My last Samsung lasted 10 years for me and was passed down to my son who is still using it. That influenced me to get another Samsung. Got this one on sale for $1049 which was cheaper than flat 65.

Bought the 8500 curved 65 dec 26. As our main tv. Loved it so much. Replaced a lesser used tv with this (one model lower( the 7500. It is excellent in every way for the price point. Giving it 4 stars for 3 reasons
1-i own the 8500. And the step up in refresh rate IS noticable.
2- the 8500 has the break out module for all of its connections. Which the manual states makes it upgradable, idk about that, what i like about it is less visible clutter. And only a single cable to wallfish from the components to the hung tv.
3- and this actually bothers my wife quite a lot. The 7500s stand is center mounted with 'feet' that extend in a V shape from it. This makes it difficult to use a soundbar if the tv is on a surface and not hung. The 8500s stand are smaller Vs at either end. Allowing for the curved soundbar (which is beautiful underneath it to me) to nest. She really wants me to switch them because of this. I really dont want to.
End of the day. The price dif is like 250-300. The picture and i guess upgradability of the 8500 are worth it. But if this is your price point it is definitely a quality picture with minor cons. The OS is identical as are the remotes if i remember correctly

I've had several samsung tvs and this was purchased to replace a 4 yr old 58 samsung. The picture and features are definitely better, and I really like the new remote ( easy to use ). I would highly recommend this tv.

Great TV for a corner with its curved screen. Really nice picture with HD cable. Movies look really good. Wish it had a higher refresh rate. Action sequences tend to be a little blurred, i.e.. watching a basketball game. I see why the display in store shows slow moving images like water and mountain views.

Ever since I bought this TV all my friends have been super envious of me and I love watching movies on it. I also bought a nice stand and nice sound system along with it to make my experience that much more enjoyable, but even with out these the TV itself does so much more than I could ask for.

Can't say enough about this TV. Picture quality is spectacular. If you are putting this in a big room you will definitely need some aux speakers like a Bose or surround sound because it's like so many flat screens with a maximum sound output. Other than that it is flawless!

This TV was easy to set-up and the picture is just amazing. Was a little concerned about getting a curved TV, but glad I did....It gives viewing a completely different perspective. Motion rate is 120. Did not want to spend more on 240 because at my age (a senior) I don't think that I could see a difference or even know what I was looking for !

This TV has rich blacks and bright whites. Nice features, no camera (which I preferred) and is capable of using voice control. My PS4 and Xbox One looked absolutely wonderful on the screen. The curve gives about an additional 5' of viewing area and there is not a bad angle. Barely any glare and the light is so strong that even with sunlight behind you, it's still very easy to see everything on the screen. I would definitely recommend this TV and remind prospective buyers that there's not much 4K content out yet. Luckily this TV does some upscaling, so it's a solid buy.

I did not get any of the white orbs other reviews mention. Maybe I got lucky? This tv is amazing though. Makes everything look like it's in your living room. Hdr makes 1080i look close to 4k. This tv is 120hz not 60 like the last poster said. Just make sure you get HDMI 2.0 cables.

This was the first thing I bought of Samsung. Very happy with the purchase. I recently moved and it was a bit of a pain because no store has a box that is meant for curved TV's. We had to slide it into a van and hold it. The picture however is fantastic for games, sports, and TV. I have since purchased a Samsung washer and dryer as well. It is quite heavy I must say for such a thin tv. If you have small children as I do, buy a set of straps to hold it to the stand if not mounted to the wall.

tv looks amazing when playing 1080p and 4k content. Hdr is good , not as good as the wide color gamut but still really good. The curve looks amazing even when the tv is not on.
My negatives are with the apps having to be fully restarted to get passed an error message . Hdcp sometimes causes the picture to flash , it is not alleviated by turning it off either. You have to change to another input with an active signal feeding into it and then switch it back to stop the picture flashing . Other than that the picture quality is Great, video gaming on it has very little input lag and the lower tier hdr still does a pretty good job with the dark spots

I am very happy with all aspects of this TV. Functionality, picture and design are superb. The remote is surprisingly useful and I have discarded a multi-function remote as a result. Samsung Smart Hub is brilliant. I love the curved screen as it allows me to view from any seat in my living room. I am using a Samsung curved sound bar with sub woofer and Samsung rear wireless speakers so I cannot comment on the TV speakers.

This televisions picture is light years ahead of others in the same class. Vizio's is not in the same hemisphere and Sony's is close but still behind. For the price I don't think you will find a better television then the 7 series. The only negative thing I can say about it are the speakers that are a little flat but for the most part get the job done and Samsung doing away with the 3-D feature.
