Bought this TV less than a month ago and it has a lot of backlight bleeding, also this TV doesn't support Dolby vision, sadly don't have the box anymore otherwise I will return it.I could have bought a TCL or Hisense and probably get better picture without spending 1300 on this set.

I was in the middle of my research when my non-smart Sony Wega finally passed. The motherboard started to go so I began to do as much research as possible; so when the lamp finally gave out I was ready. I'd been researching the Samsung, Sony, and LG 65" TVs to determine which one I was going to buy. I visited the local Best Buy 3-4 times to talk to the guys in the TV section; they were VERY Helpful. I went with the Samsung because the color is simply brilliant; and that wasn't even the top or high mid-line model. Side by side with the next model up you could actually see the difference in color and sharpness; but another $5-600 in price (tv, warranty and tax) just didn't make sense since I knew I wouldn't even be able to tell when it was alone in my family room. The only hiccough was the remote went wonky and wouldn't connect so I called Samsung and they are sending a replacement. The quality of the color and the depth of the picture is amazing, you actually feel like you are there. I've read reviews about people having to tweak and adjust colors to get it perfect; but mine looked great right out of the box - but like I said I'm not a videophile. If you are an average Joe looking for good quality and a decent deal this set was a great bargain - it's already marked down about $400-500 from it's original listing of $1700+ and if you watch they'll pair it with a sound bar for an even better deal. I would recommend a sound bar if you don't already have one - these new TVs with the speakers in the back are tough to hear; plus with the sound bar pushing the sound forward, I can be watching an action movie with the sound blowing my hair back and no one upstairs can hear the TV because of speakers are facing away from the door!

This tv is great for the price. It gives some astounding colors without being saturated. However I thought I saw some motion blur which could've been my internet provider (I stream all my content). For the price I wasn't ok with this being a problem. I ended up taking it back and tried a Sony. Immediately regretted it and packed up my second 65" tv in two weeks. After the Sony though, I realized I wanted the vibrant colors Samsung had to offer. The uhd tv is really good, it's not qled but whatever you're doing the picture will look great. After upgrading my wifi router I haven't had an orobkems with the q6 so it seems my internet could've been the problem when I owned this tv. It has a really easy setup, took about 25minutes from cutting the tape to stashing the box and logging into all my streaming services. Tv comes with a simple but useful remote that makes it easy to use and navigate. I would recommend this tv to anyone that doesn't want to justify the $2500+ for a nice sized qled.

First off, I got this on a black Friday sale (2018), and I haven't seen the price matched anywhere since. So if you're buying this TV under 1K I would highly recommend it! I read all the reviews here and other sites and went to the local best buy to check out my options. Side by side with the next QLED model, I personally didn't see much of a difference for the price. Of course, the higher the model, the more differences you'll see. For my budget, and for my TV usage, the NU8000 model (65 inch) was perfect. I don't watch much TV outside of Netflix. However, the 4k stuff I've streamed looks incredible. I do play PS4 quite a bit, this TV really handles well for gaming. (Be sure to check your HDR settings on your PS4, the games itself, and adjust to your liking). I did tinker with settings forever to get that perfect color/brightness etc. The built in sound is pretty great too. Sure you can add a soundbar, but for my tiny apartment, I definitely don't need one. Sounds amazing. Okay, so the cons... I got this with a 0 interest credit card, and on sale, so the price was right for me. I don't know if I'd be completely happy at full retail value, and would recommend upgrading to QLED if you're really into hi-def 4k tv watching. The other con I would say is the built in software. Bixby is great, and the remote control is really easy to use, but seeing ads for SLING in my menu gets tiresome really quickly. And the WHITE colored background can be brighter than the sun in the summer on Mercury if you're watching TV in the dark. Other than that, I am extremely happy with this purchase. I can't get too technical about it, but go to the store and check it out. It's a great and simple design, and I love the built in cord management it has. Good luck and I hope this info was helpful for your decision.

I've wanted a larger TV for a while, but I'm very picky about what I wanted in said TV. I researched online and Samsung was always my go to brand. I saw a deal at BestBuy for this TV and went to check out this model and the next model up version of this TV. I'm admittedly not an expert on TVs by any means but I needed enough HDMI ports, wanted a smart TV, wanted a 4K TV, it needed to have good quality sound, and it had to be at least 65 inches. So I looked at both models with the BestBuy employee who told me all about this model and the next gen higher quality model. I compared the price differential and had to go with this TV. I got home, mounted it on my wall, and have enjoyed every minute of using it since we purchased it. I would highly recommend this TV to anybody! It's fast, it's got great color, great sound, easy to mount, and works in tandem with my Samsung Galaxy S9 phone through Bixby and the SmartThings app. You can't go wrong with this TV!

I looked at a number of reviews before I purchased this TV. I was not originally interested in Samsung because of the One Connect box that had to be used. The NU8000 does not have the one connect so I started to consider it. I read multiple reviews and CAE down to the Visio P series, the Sony 850F and this Samsung. After looking and evaluating what I needed the samsung won out due to price and reliability. The picture is outstanding. I don’t care much a bout the sound quality since I use a full surround sound system which connected and works with no issues. I did adjust the color and picture settings to my liking partially based on the RTINGS setting suggestions. I cant stream well in my area due to limited internet so I can’t count on delay lags in that area. Blu-ray looks outstanding with the samsung up scaling. I was frankly surprised at the quality. Sports are excellent with no movement blur and almost a 3D quality to the image.

After spending several weeks researching various TVs under $1,200, I went with the Samsung NU8000 as it was on sale for $999.99 and offered 4 HDMI, an awesome picture, the voice search option, pretty decent sound quality. You can easily hear the TV which was mounted in our living room and can hear it easily from the kitchen. The colors are excellent, despite it not being calibrated yet. You need about 100 hours of it being able to calibrating it correctly. The remote is typical Samsung and works fine. No blurring of fast action scenes since this has 240 motion rate. Have had it about 3 weeks and love it. Best value for the price.

I went to the store wanting 70" minimum, only to find out that 75" is actually the standard and those were simply out of my budget. So I started looking at the 65" models and settled on this one. This one had the best combination of features and specs. I wanted, as well as a beautiful picture. It was easy to set up and super intelligent about discovering my cable converter box and sound bar. The smart apps are fantastic, and lightning fast to load, navigate, and start the show you select. I really enjoy being able to use the bixby features of the remote and want to learn more about using them effectively. The picture is gorgeous! It's amazing how much more clear it was than my 2-3 yr. old Samsung 58" LED! Watching the same shows I yam now seeing them in ways that I never had before! The picture is simply beautiful. I have already recommended this TV to a friend that is in the market right meow.

60" Sharp TV died so went to get another 60" and saw this 65" Samsung and knew this one the one I had to get... This is a 2018 model. Pros: Set up is easy, Color is vivid, picture is amazing and realistic. Like sitting in a movie theater. Cons: Remote takes some getting used to but once you figured it out it is easy to work. Sound could be better but with a sound bar the sound is perfect. Would recommend it to anyone...

This TV has outdone All my expectations, this is my second 4K TV 2 years ago I bought the 65 in UHD 7000 series. There are great improvements over the past couple of years, the improved local dimming, HDR Graphics have a greater contrast, the depth and expanse of color is literally mind-blowing. This TV takes my Xbox One X to the next level, I would say is at least a 30% Improvement and Graphics over the UHD 7 series from 2017. I recommend this TV to anyone The Hub is excellent the processor is extremely fast, switching from Netflix to Hulu or regular TV is seamless. The apps allow for 4K viewing of Netflix and 4K viewing of Hulu and other apps, it allows you to maximize the use of this TV. Connecting and controlling all your electronics is a snap, with its intelligent remote. I can turn my Xbox One X on and off and control movies and do virtually everything on my Xbox with it, same thing with my stereo system and cable box. The voice control works seamlessly either finding movies changing channels are maneuvering through my favorite apps. Samsung definitely hit a homerun with this TV, it's a step ahead of the competition and well worth every penny

Here's the bad news: This Samsung doesn't have the incredible, looking-through-the-glass picture quality of the high-priced and highly rated LG OLED TV. Here's the good news: It doesn't have the price tag of that OLED TV. If you're in the market for a high-quality UHD TV that is more reasonably priced than the top-tier sets, this Samsung is definitely worth considering. The picture is sharp, with rich contrast and deep blacks. I watch a lot of sports, and there's very little motion drag. It's not the picture of an OLED or a QLED, but it's exceptional. The set itself is sleek. It's remarkably thin for a 65-inch set, and the bezels are small. If you're using a stand, it's easy to set up, It juts out from the front of the set a bit, but it's okay for my TV cabinet. As is becoming more common, the remote control is minimalist, with no digits and only a few buttons. It took a couple of minutes to figure out the volume is button is an up/down motion, not a press down. It wasn't intuitive. The setup itself was super easy and took only a few minutes. Samsung has impressively simplified the initial start up. There are higher quality 4K TVs that you can buy. If you don't want to shell out high dollars, this TV is a great value.
