Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the exceptional picture quality and sleek design of the 65" Class The Frame Series LED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV. Many are impressed with the ease of use and installation, particularly the convenience of the One Connect feature. While some users find the subscription requirement for additional art limiting, others feel that the overall value is worth the investment.

Awesome device. I don't think you can just call it a television anymore. Had some issues out the box, but samsung quickly attended to them and I was up and running within a week. Great picture quality and the photo feature is good for displaying captured pictures. It was so good, that I purchased the 32 in version for the kitchen.

I'm loving the TV so far. The picture is beautiful. It's got a lot of bells and whistles so I'm still getting used to it. Not gonna lie...it is a very expensive screen saver. The art looks nice but you're not fooling anyone that this isn't a TV. But I'm happy with it and I'm gonna keep playing with it.

    Great TV, Terrible Install Instructions

The Frame has a quality picture with specs that place it firmly in the mix with other higher end TVs. It’s not going to be the best TV on the market but we bought the frame for the mix of a good tv and the ability to display art. Unfortunately, Samsung’s instructions for wall mounting the tv with the slim wall mount were absolutely terrible. Best option is to find a good install on YouTube and follow along. Also, and luckily for us, we have a small gap between the tv and wall which allows for the conduit and electrical outlet behind the tv (outlet is no longer in use given the One Connect cord).

The last straw for us to never buy Samsung again.

I regret not listening to my parents and my wife's family who told us to never buy Samsung after we bought our house 2 years ago. We'll focus our review on the TV since that was our only purchase, but for context, my parents bought a Samsung washer & dryer that died 2 years after purchase. My wife's family had a Samsung refrigerator that also died around 2 years. Then there's us who bought our Frame TV a little under 2 years ago. Even though my parents and wife's family had warranty, it's not reassuring to see such major home appliances break in such a short timeframe. In our case, we got even more unlucky since Samsung TVs only come with a 1-year warranty, so we were tough out of luck when it came to our issue. Basically the left and right side of the TV started losing its brightness (although the color accuracy and picture was still showing). Based on forums and threads that we read up on, most people suspect it could be some dead backlights that just need to be replaced or something of that sort and that the repair cost might be roughly around $300-$500, so we had submitted a repair request on the official Samsung website and went through the usual process. First off, it was frustrating to file the repair request in the first place. For a few days, the website kept saying the serial number was invalid even though we double-checked everything multiple times and made sure we didn't mix up zeros with the letter o. Then it suddenly started working and when we tried to add pictures to our request, it would always say there was an error. The request would only work if we submitted plain text and no pictures. After 2 days, we gave up and just submitted the request without pictures. Then came the repair estimate - $1217 in parts and $350 in labor, which is more-or-less only $200 less than when we bought the TV brand new! Clearly we cancelled the repair request since it'd be much more worth it buying a brand new TV for the same price rather than repairing a Samsung one that would probably break again. I would say the only positive in this experience was how quickly the repair ticket was processed - but that's it. Within two hours of filing, they were able to give me a phone number to send my pictures in so that they could review what was the issue and handled scheduling our appointment pretty easily. We totally understand that any sort of electronics or appliances don't last forever, but these kinds of major appliances in the $1000-$2000+ range should not be breaking within 2 years. We really loved the aesthetics of the Frame TV and it was great in those 2 years, but warranty or not, it's not worth the headache of dealing with a major appliance breaking so soon. In the case TVs, it's even more of a risk since Samsung only offers a 1-year warranty. The 2 LG TVs we've had for 5 years (1 also being an OLED) and have gone through 3 moves are still running without issues. Yet the Frame TV that we wanted to be a more longer-term fixture in our new construction home is already dying in 2 years. My parents' LG washer and dryer are still going strong after 7 years and my wife's family LG refrigerator has also been going strong the last 3 years. Even the washer and dryer we bought with our house 3 months before the Frame TV is still working fine. Lastly, we definitely understand that not everyone has the same issues (otherwise, I'm sure there'd be much bigger problems for Samsung and the media to talk about), but we definitely want to warn you what risk you would be taking if you were to purchase any major Samsung appliance. If you still decide to go for it, then maybe at least buy a Best Buy warranty for the extra peace of mind because Samsung definitely won't do that for you. At least for us, it definitely was the last straw for us to never buy Samsung again and to tell our family and friends the same.

I’m not a fan of the Frame, but my wife has wanted one for a while now. I got this for her birthday present this year. I waited for the pre Black Friday sale. Hanging it up was a pain in the butt, but in order to achieve the picture frame look, you have to use the supplied wall mount. We’ve had several people ask if it’s a TV or a picture frame. It’s honestly hard to tell with how close it gets to the wall. The bezel is a must and the annual subscription for photos is a great deal too. Although I wasn’t a fan, depending on your room or style, it is a beautiful TV and a great idea from Samsung.

There are some logistical concerns that aren’t clear when initially purchasing, but that’s no fault of Best Buy. For instance the integrated wall mount requires studs of a specific distance that my home could not accommodate, but this was rectified with the purchasing of a different wall mount however the seamless painting on a wall aspect isn’t true for my setting based on the wall mount I need it to use. This could be easily fixed by the manufacture by having addition hanging options integrated or a slide mount on the back

Love this and the way it looks. Few things I didn't like is the frame around the tv had to purchased seperately. The chord they give to attach to the hub was too short. Had to purchase a longer one and it was over $200 for it.

My fiancé and I had been looking at this tv for over a year. We finally decided to get it, we wanted to fill in a piece of wall in our kitchen, but did not know what picture to add. This tv/ work of art made it a simple choice. I would recommend to anyone. We purchased the 65 inch. Only thing we would suggest is getting a wireless sound bar, the tv speakers have no depth.

So far we Love our 65 inch Samsung Frame TV. We purchased a 43 inch Fram TV earlier this year and have really been impressed with it. So when our Family room TV went up after 15 years we decided to get the bigger 65 inch. We were able to connect 2 game systems our cable box and a sound bar we already had, though the sound through the TV is pretty good without it.

DO NOT BUY THIS TV. I purchased this TV August of 2021, had to have the digital panel replaced January of 2022, and now the panel has gone bad again. Best Buy has washed their hands of the issue (because it is past the 1yr warranty) and has only recommended to go through Samsung direct, which I'll have to call tmrw. Very disappointed. This TV cost me almost $2K, and has been nothing but trouble. DO NOT BUY

Excellent picture. The art option is why I bought this tv. It works Excellent as a centerpiec for our living room. Very happy with this purchase. I'm use to the fire stick interface so it's been difficult adjusting to this interface.

Had this TV since 2021 and it’s already having issues. Flashing gray bars across the screen no matter the input or app. Calling Samsung led to them asking me to purchase another TV from them because the warranty is already out. I know samsung has struggled as of late, guess I am the next victim.

Love my Frame TV ... but apparantly now I'm finding out there's a fire hazard with this models cables running through our wall to the box so I'm having to call my AV guy now to address this issue. Our neighbors are getting one of these (same model) installed with Best buys Geek Squad and they are saying the past 6 months they've been getting calls about this TV and the safety issues/concerns.
