Got this TV for 539 and it was a steal!! It’s so big, good sound and the picture is amazing! This is my first start TV and I will say I hate the remote. But who cares this was a steal. And my PS4 game look amazing in it . Don’t pay the full price not worth it

This review is for someone who is only partly competent and confident with cloud based everything. :) Overall, I really like the TV. It replaced a 5 year old 60” Vizio and although I didn’t notice a huge ah-ha! difference in picture quality, it sure made navigating the apps I feel forced to use a ton easier. Delivery was awesome. Geek squad called, brought it in, gone in two minutes. Unpacking was easy with the pre-cut box. I feel like I’m falling farther behind every day in being able to adapt to new technology, but I found setup to be simple. I still wish I had a cable box and everything in one place, but we went with AT&T and the Samsung remote is compatible with their service. As for the remote - meh. Can’t get used to it. I really do not like the tiny little buttons placed at the bottom of the remote for fast forward, pause, etc, and I can’t see where I am as I fast forward so end up just watching commercials. (Some of this may be an AT&T issue so sorry for not knowing the difference). I also submitted formal feedback requesting a bright box around the app you have selected because you just can’t see which one you are on as you scroll through them. Look at the photo and see if you can. Also can’t figure out how to delete apps you don’t use. It was easy to figure out how to turn on closed captioning but I can’t figure out how to make it show when watching via the AT&T app, but like I said, me and technology... Anyway, I got a great buy. Really a Best Buy:) so given I’d expect to have similar issue with any brand Of smart TV, overall I’m very satisfied. Especially since I never went to compare products in the store. If I could do it over I’d spend the extra $200 on the next size up. (Last thing - be sure to read the Samsung privacy disclosures re: recording devices)

It’s a nice quality TV. The size is great and the picture quality is nice but I keep having to reset the TV or unplug the TV to connect to WiFi again! Anyone else have that problem? My internet is perfectly fine and the router literally sits under the tv so I’m at a loss on how to get it to stay connected. It’s an annoyance to unplug my tv EVERYDAY. I might have to use a fire stick again which totally defeated the purposes of buying a “smart tv”. Now I kind of regret not going with an LG. So beware if you buy a Samsung tv, I’ve been on Samsung forums all morning and it looks like this is a ongoing common defect with their TVs of connecting to WiFi’s.

Took advantage of the early Black Friday special pricing. Hands down best t.v for the price. Had to adjust picture settings to maximize picture quality while while watching sports and movies. My advice is to turn off “soap opera effect” setting while watching a movie and turn it back on while watching live sports, huge difference for both. I also added accent led lights to back of the t.v to give it an extra touch. The remote takes a bit to get used and navigate but practice makes perfect. Overall satisfied with my purchase.

The TV is a Great buy; especially at the the price I paid. The picture quality is excellent and no problems since I purchased it a month ago. Getting my Verizon FIOS TV remotes to work was a challenge, but somebody posted a good guide on the internet to get them working properly. At 54 lbs, I chose to get an upright stand that works on my current 36" TV stand Rfiver Universal Swivel TV Stand Tabletop TV Stand Base for Most 40-80 inch TVs, Height Adjustable with Tempered Glass Base and Wire Management, VESA 600x400mm, Black.....Perfect

Overall I was happy with this tv. Even though this was the lowest end model it still had a great picture. I had to play around with the picture settings a very long time to get it perfect but overall the picture was very clear and I haven't tried 4k yet. The down side is there is only 2 hdmi inputs and one audio output so your hookups are very limited. One cable box and one 4k player and that's it. If you want a video game on top of that your out of luck unless you buy a hdmi switch but most of the ones you can buy work like cr##p. The tv sound is decent sounds good. There is an equalizer but I use a surround system. I bought it for black Friday so the price was very good for this tv. Normally about a $800 tv I got it for $600 including taxes. I've only had it for a few weeks so there is no long term information

Instead of buying more expensive TV's and keeping it for 10 years ,we instead prefer to grab a black Friday special every 3 years, and with that we go up in size little by little. This replaced a 3 year old 58 4k which still worked like new. Samsung never disappoints on these Best Buy Exclusives. Picture quality excellent, sound quality excellent, well made and aesthetically pleasing. I actually like this remote better than any of the previous models. And of course the Black Friday price tag is what guarantees the purchase. Over the years we have outfitted 4 bedrooms, a living room and a enclosed patio, all sporting Samsung's. One remote works in any room. Our delivery was scheduled between 7AM and 1PM . Delivery showed up at 6:30 AM. I'm not complaining , we were thinking about that TV in our sleep.

We are very pleased with our purchase!! What a Deal!! Easy Set up(for my Hubby :D )!! He said to mention only 2 HDMI ports so you may need to buy a HDMI Splitter for more ports. Depending on what you hook up to the TV like Video game system, DVD player, Tuner etc.. The TV specs clearly state 2 HDMI ports..just reiterating it! Without this Awesome deal we wouldn't be able to afford a 70" 4k Smart TV!!

it took me 2 months of research to finally find a TV that I was satisfied with. My biggest requirements; price and quality. We were upgrading a 50 inch TV in our family room that we bought 5 years ago. Wow!! Flat-screen TV technology has drastically improved. I'm impressed with what is out there! This is a great mid-level TV. I consider the OLED TVs to be top of the line. This TV can definitely hold it's own. It's perfect for what we needed, and the sale price was fantastic. If you'te debating on whether this TV is the one, you can not wrong with it! It's excellent in value and quality. Some pointers: I went down to my local Best Buy and looked at screen sizes. Originally we thought a 65 inch would be good, but after seeing a 70 inch, we thought WHY NOT!? I am happy that we decided to go with something bigger. It fits perfectly on our wall. Speaking of walls; splurge on the $200 premium install that Best Buy has to mount the TV professionally. This is the type of TV that you want to showcase and have it professionally mounted. It comes with a stand, but I just don't see this quality of TV sitting on a stand. If you're going to get a 70 inch TV, put it on the wall. A skilled person can mount on their own, but this TV is HUGE and HEAVY. It's a job for at least two people. Best Buy installed it, hooked it up, did wires, connections; they did whatever it took to get our TV just the way we wanted. They were very knowledgable and answered all of my questions. They gave us a detailed tutorial and showed us all the amazing things the TV can do. Let the pros mount it. This TV comes with 100+ channels already preprogrammed on Samsung TV FREE. That was a great surprise. The 4K is outstanding! The first thing we watched was the Avengers End Game in 4K and it was outstanding. (We also bought the Samsung 2.1 soundbar and the duo together are great). Get 4k HDMI cables. Your picture will be awesome We watch movies, news, sports, and we also hooked up a Nintendo switch to it. The video game quality is great. I'm blown away. I can only imagine how the Playstation 5 will look on this TV. It's a great TV for all different types of viewers. Once you get comfortable, you can adjust the color to your liking. We just leave it on the "dramatic" setting. It makes all the colors pop. Everything looks crisp and clean. We also play music from it. Connect the TV to your phone's Bluetooth. It's pretty cool. Good luck on your TV search. You will not regret getting this TV.

I ordered this tv for my new home and always wanted something big. This tv took my breathe away. Me and my boyfriend were so excited. The pictures don’t do it justice. With all the lights off it feels like we are in a movie theater. Since this whole pandemic we needed something to brighten our spirits and this tv was the best option. Shoutout to geek squad who set it up on the wall with our moveable mount within 10 minutes. (Yes is it absolutely secure). Know every time we watch tv we will feel like we are in the cinema right in the comfort of our own home. If your a person like me who loves loud sound and bass i would suggest getting a sound bar which is what I will be doing soon but great job Samsung with this!!!!!!

Have not tried any 4k movies yet only UHD. It was easy to set up but recommend two or more people since it is large and heavy. The sound and picture quality is fantastic.

Great price. Could not find reviews on the model anywhere, it list in specs that there is not screen mirroring, however, there is. Easy to set up, Samsung account allows you to control TV from iPhones. It also has Apple Airplay! All apps available Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon TV, Apple TV, YouTube, Spectrum etc. I’ve seen bigger pictures on some 4K TVs but, my view is without any adjustments to the settings.

great pic, easy set up, smooth when watching sports, watching night scenes in Seal Team was enjoyable. Streaming apps are beautiful because of the wifi and ethernet. Downloaded some apps with ease just went to my Samsung account. If you have big fingers like my husband you might not like the remote but I use it fine prefer it to set top box and blue ray player remote. Bought hdmi switch make sure if you get one to get the 4 in components to one out to tv, it's for 4k and 60hz. Use 4k hdmi 2.0 cable.

Easy to set up...walks you step by step from when you first turn it on! Great Picture, crisp & clean. Great sound can be heard from the front. Unlike most where speaker is located in the back of the tv causing sound to be hard to hear. The features of the SMART TV are easy to maneuver with the universal remote. I almost bought another brand based on price. But ended up getting a great deal during one of Best Buys sales. I am super amazed by this TV and am so glad i stuck to Samsung.

The best purchase we made this year! We LOVE this tv!. It's like having a mini movie theatre in our living room with our surround sound set up. Picture is great, very crisp and clear. The free samsung channels are an added bonus. Just added HBO MAX so my streaming services are complete. Also we purchased it at a great sale price at $549 and added the 5 year warranty. You can't go wrong with this purchase! Highly Recommend!

I love this TV. It has a great picture, especially for the money. This replaces an 11 yo LG that was good but you can’t beat a smart TV. I also got a great price on a Samsung sound bar. I’ve had this a little over a month and I’m still just as excited as I was after the Geek Squad hung it perfectly on my wall.

Picked up this Samsung TV Model # UN70TU6980FXZA During the Black Friday sale. It's the biggest tv we have ever owned at 70 inches. Great deal too! Yes, it's a Samsung "budget" model tv made for Bestbuy and it's not a Qled but folks, it's a freaking 4k Samsung with great features that will please the average tv user like me. The picture is fantastic but it took me a bit of work playing with the picture settings to get it just right for my taste. I'm using it with a Roku Ultra and I could not be happier with it. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra bucks in a geek squad extended warranty plan because you just never know. Peace of mind is worth it. So far it's working flawlessly though. It's Alexa compatible so it's pretty cool to just say "Alexa, turn on tv". I had this tv delivered to my home by Bestbuy and they did a great job getting it to me undamaged and exactly on the day I requested. The tv looks great mounted on our family room wall. We mounted it ourselves using a mount rated for 120 pounds and 75 inches. According to the tv specs, the tv weighs 54 pounds. Better safe than sorry. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it!

Big TV for sure. I love it. The wife not so sure on the size for her. Because it's a smart tv, I can cut out all of the dongles and add ons. No roku, no firestick, not google chromecast needed at all. The only thing that would make it even better would be to have assignable buttons for some of my preferred apps, like youtube tv, or Disney plus.

I got this tv for my husband for Christmas. I ended up giving it to him two weeks early. He said it’s best gift in a long time. The picture is so clear. It feels like being in a movie theater. If you are looking for a nice tv that is not overly expensive, this is a great option. We highly recommend.
