This TV, the 75" 8000 series, for the money and for 75", has an incredible picture. I do recommend having it professionally tuned though as there can be some speed delay or judder. Also, it is very smart. It finds things and even the names of them seamlessly. I do agree with other reviewers that Bitsby is NO Alexa or Google Assistant. But Im sure that may be fixable via updates by Samsung. Other than that I highly recommend this one. Which is the premium 75". For $500 less you can get the 7000 series in which the difference is barely noticeable.

“Wow” just about sums it up for this Samsung TV. Beautiful picture, fast refresh rate, plenty of HDMI inputs. When shopping for a TV, it was between the 8 series Samsung and the 7 series model. Pretty much the two TV compared the same, but what set the 8 series over the edge was the refresh rate. If you are into sports or action moves the higher refresh rate is a must. This TV was $500.00 off regular price. Very pleased with my 8 series Samsung. Again, the picture is absolutely stunning.

Great for gaming and HDR content. Great contrast ratio. Blacks look great even in dark room. Speakers are not great at all. If my wife and I are watching alone then it's fine. We can set volume to 12 and hear dialogue clearly. If our 3 year old is in the room that's another story. Even at 60+ volume the dialogue is difficult to hear. The TV gets loud, but a little distorted at higher volume. Highly recommend getting an alternative sound dilution.

Replaced our older 55” RCA tv with this Samsung 75” tv and we are impressed with it! Picture quality is great and the menus and interface are fast and clean looking! I love how quick you can go into Netflix and then Hulu and switch back and forth without them having to reload each time! Perfect for when we are trying to figure out what to watch. Setup was easy and the remote is simple to use. Highly recommend this model!

I wanted a 70 inch but was outvoted by the rest of the family. We purchased this newer model and it has been exactly what we asked for. Beautiful picture, easy setup and LOVE the port options and the apps that we were able to log into with ease. Well worth the cost to us and we feel like we are at the movies with the crisp and large screen. Bring on the popcorn!

This 8 series has a great picture, easy to set up with the SmartThings app. None-4K devices look improved over the prior 1080p set. I compared this to the QLEDs in store and I am glad I went this direction and saved a few bucks. My big wish is that the remote allowed more flexibility to control external devices. No big deal if you have Harmony or something like it.

THE OVERALL USE OF THE TV IS EASY. THIS TV IS HUGE AND HAS A GREAT PICTURE. I DO HAVE ONE CONCERN...I ATTACHED A HD ANTENNAE TO THE TV SO I COULD WATCH LOCAL CHANNELS AND IT DIDN'T SHOW UP ON THE SOURCES MENU AS AN OPTION. I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S CAPABLE OF DOING THIS OR NOT. I HAVEN'T TRIED TO FIGURE OUT ANOTHER WAY SO FAR. LOOKS LIKE I WILL HAVE TO RESEARCH THIS AND FIND A WAY TO PICK UP MY LOCAL CHANNELS. OTHER THAN THAT; IT'S A GREAT TV.

It’s big! I know they have the quantum dot led series now but the price point was too hard to swallow. I use this TV as a computer monitor for gaming and it is capable of 120 Hz at 1920x1080 And with HDR I couldn’t be more happy with the image quality. Of course when you are actually watching a 4K HDR movie that is hard to beat.

Just purchased this unit. After lots of comparisons with other TVs in this range. This one had the best picture especially once you calibrate the screen. 4 hdmi inputs really help since most units only have 1 or 2.
No glare in a good lighted room.
Works perfectly with my sound bar system.
The smart remote that comes with this unit is pretty dam good.. Replaces eveything ...automatically in the setup..Works the cable box,TV, sound bar, firestick all with one remote..
way easier than having 4 remote controls around.
Only issue. I had was the TV updates weren't detected via the TV online. Had to manually update from a USB drive. But the update went flawlessly.

I upgraded from the 65" to the 75" and I'm so glad I did. I'm still not 100% set on the brand though. I previously had a Vizio and I have a 60 refresh rate Hisense in the other room. Vizio is great for color. The detail and color on my Hisense is still better than this Samsung. However, the motion blur is much better on the Samsung than the Hisense. For watching TV, the Samsung wins, but for gaming I'd still stick with my lower grade Hisense. Honestly, I think getting the best model of a Hisense beats out the Samsung series and the Vizio series in gaming and TV. The sound quality of this Samsung is pretty good too. I stopped using a sound bar because the quality of audio from the TV was clearer. This Samsung responds fast to switching apps which is also a plus. Overall, it's a nice picture, beautiful for movies, but for gaming, my Hisense with my ps4pro is has a better picture even after calibrating the Samsung. After reading the negative reviews, I added on the extra warranty just to be safe and in the week that I've had it, I've experienced no issues.

We have been wanting to upgrade to a 4K TV for a long time, and this TV does not disappoint! Great picture quality, very easy to use, and mounting it was a breeze. The biggest downside is the Samsung TV software displays a small "sponsored" tile that can't be removed, which feels a lot like an unwanted ad.

Nice packaging. Nice easy voice activated remote
Control. Smart apps and functionality works great fast and easy to navigate the smart functions. Now for the negative part. The tv is very dim and dark only around 600nim light output. Just not enough light to produce the bright colors in HDR mode. My room doesn't even have any windows in it. The TV's colors are way off out of the box especially in SDR mode. I spent 2 hours fully calibrating the advanced color settings and finally got the colors to look decent with good reds and skin tones. Took a lot of work to get it dialed in. Out of the box the reds were blown almost pinkish faces and lips had way too much pink and blown out. Also had to disable all the screen smoothing and studer software to stop the horrible giter and jumping in SDR mode. The TV does look good in HDR mode but just doesn't pop the colors due to the low light output. I simply expected Samsung's flagship ru8000 nonQLED 75inch TV to perform better than this!!
Ultimately I ended up returning this TV and exchanging it for the 75 inch Vizio Quantum P series. WOW was I really surprised!! This Vizio TV is insanely bright and crisp with deeeep blacks! I read the reviews and took a chance on this Vizio. I'm totally in love with this TV. Out of the box the colors are dead on and I actually had to dial down the color, brightness, backlight and contrast. The motion smoothing and SDR upscaling seems to work well. The only small bad part is no voice commands on the remote and the apps load a little slow. Other than that good job Vizio at making a great product that simply blows away the higher end competition in this price range of 1600 dollars. It is just as good as the 2500 dollar Sony 950!

I've had my TV for almost a month now and I must say, I'm well pleased with it. Paid $1200 which includes 2yr warranty what a steal. For a large TV, the image is "AMAZING ". I added Samsung soundbar and subwoofer for a little bit more sound. Kids have taken over my man cave.

It's hard to judge when my current Xfinity component doesn't support the HD feature. I did notice that initially the quality of the picture was not as defined or clear as I would've expected, or looked the way it did in the store. I would say it is important that as a consumer you understand the difference in picture you'll get based on your cable provider to avoid any surprises. The volume quality is pretty good, you can actually hear base coming from the TV. The picture quality does continue to get better as times goes. I will have to check with Xfinity on the latest product available to help improve my TV experience.
On another note, I'll be updating kitchen appliances and adding other household items and found the Best Buy membership to very cost effective. The cost of installation can be very expensive and this program offers a very low price that can't be beat and to add to this they offer free service on all your computer, phone and tablet devices regardless of where they were purchased. There are other incentives that are offered through this member they offer and I myself think is well worth the annual fee that's charged. Overall I am happy with everything I've bought and hope this is helpful to others.

While rather cumbersome to mount due just to the massive size (75" display), the tv looks great after some fiddling with the picture settings. Image is crisp and clear and while its not quite "QLED" or "OLED" levels of quality, lets be honest, most of us are watching cartoons and netflix streams on these things. This tv is good enough and the price point during their black friday sale was what sold me on its value.
The remote is kind of a weird shape, but works well and doesnt have much of a ghosting effect when I'm thumbing thru the buttons.
The built in OS is good, tho being able to get rid of some of the apps/icons for things I dont use would be nice. The ones we DO use tho work great with no lag.
Pairing with the Samsung Smart Things app was easy on my Galaxy Note 10+, but tbh I havent used the app much at all, so it seemed kind of pointless to force that setup so far.
All in all, great value for such a large tv and everything about it works great.

When Samsung calls this a SMART TV, they are correct. It intuitively sets the remote up to other devices. Picture is great. Remote is small and has voice command. I recommend this TV. I had to return an LG due to problems, and this was a great choice.

TV is unbelievable for what I paid for it. Amazing list of features and picture quality for the price! If I had to ding it...I would say that the built in speakers aren't that great. But they're rarely used so its not a big deal.
