I have bought this Samsung TV around August for almost $4000 and after couple mounts, we see a lot of red spots and lines in the lcd when we watch something on it. I have big problem with Best Buy to exchange it while I have total tec membership and protection plan on it. This is second item that I purchased from Best Buy and it does not working after few mounts . I do not trust the Best Buy anymore and I do not recommend this TV to anyone.

The 77inch version is a great step up from my LG C2.
Movies:
Watching movies look fantastic whether you like saturated (Active Mode) colors or if you like acurate colors (Static Mode). You get 4 HDMI 2.1 full bandwidth, HDR10 and HDR10+ which to behonest with how bright this TV gets DV is not missed. I use my Apple TV 4k with it and its great. The Panel is pretty uniform so no dirty screen affect thanks to the panel being QD-OLED. I've had mostly all LG oleds in the past and the QD-OLED tech just hits better in my opion. The biggest difference I notice is the color luminace. The colors get so bright and full its like pure eye candy.
Gaming:
In Game mode it gets very bright and the colors look amazing. The color and brightness stay consistant when playing on my PS5. I usually play on the Active mode and colors pop like crazy. Cyberpunk, Ratchet and Clank, Spiderman 2, and other games just look awesome since the colors are better and more accurate. If you want to game on this with PC it can also get to 144hz, but I haven't tried that out myself.
Sound:
Can't say much on this topic, well since I use a soundbar. I haven't tried the speakers built into the TV.
Overall for the price and the size this is the best featured pack TV for the money. I high recommend trying it if you're looking for a new TV/upgrade.

Home Theater Heaven: My Samsung 77" S90C OLED

Okay, picture this: movie night at my place. Lights dim, popcorn popped, friends gathered around my brand new 77-inch Samsung S90C OLED TV. And let me tell you, every single one of them was blown away. This thing isn't just a TV, it's a portal to another world.
Picture Perfection: I'm not exaggerating when I say the picture quality is unreal. OLED blacks? Deeper than the Mariana Trench. Colors? So vibrant they practically leap off the screen. HDR movies? Forget it, you're staring straight into the director's vision. Even watching old reruns looks amazing, thanks to the upscaling magic. Plus, the viewing angles are insane – everyone in the room has the perfect seat.
Gaming Nirvana: Gamers, listen up. This TV is your new best friend. The response time is lightning-fast, making even the most action-packed games feel buttery smooth. Plus, the low input lag means your reflexes matter, not the TV. And trust me, the OLED black levels give you a serious edge in dark scenes. I'm finally dominating my friends in Call of Duty, and they're not happy about it (muahahaha).
Smart Smarts: The Tizen OS is pretty slick. Everything feels intuitive, from finding apps to customizing settings. Voice control works like a charm, too – no more fumbling with the remote in the dark. And the app selection is massive – all my streaming favorites are there, plus a bunch I didn't even know existed.
Sound & Design: The built-in Dolby Atmos sound is surprisingly good. It's not going to replace your fancy surround system, but for everyday watching, it does the job nicely. And the design? Sleek, minimalist, and seriously thin. This TV practically disappears into the wall, leaving the spotlight on the picture.
Minor Gripes: Okay, no tech is perfect. The remote could be a bit more ergonomic, and finding the right picture settings can take some tweaking. But honestly, these are small potatoes compared to the overall awesomeness.
Final Verdict: Hands down, the best TV I've ever owned. If you're looking for the ultimate home theater experience, the Samsung 77" S90C OLED is worth every penny. Just be prepared to answer a lot of questions from your jealous friends.
Rating: 4.5 out of 5 popcorn buckets (that's a lot of popcorn!)
P.S. If you see this TV on sale, grab it before it's gone. You won't regret it. Trust me, your future self will thank you.

Solid 77 OLED TV at an Unbeatable Price

Earlier this year I had a really bad experience with my 77 inch Samsung S95c. I could never get the picture dialed in to my liking, the upscaling on low bitrate content was horrible, poor motion, overly aggressive dimming and it was just buggy all around from Game switching crashes, to picture and audio dropouts. Just a terrible experience, especially for a TV that cost $4,800. My LG G2 was far better in every way.
Now a few months later we have the Samsung S90c at an amazing price of $2,599 (It went on another sale a week later for $2,499). At $2,499 almost any 77 inch TV is worth a shot, much less an OLED.
I'm very happy with the S90c. It's everything my experience with the S95C wasn't. Cheaper, but very similar PQ. I less issues with the Upscaling on the S90c than I did with the S95c. I haven't experienced a single crash, nor issue with switching between HDMI sources. Game mode works as expected and have zero complaints. While the PQ is mostly solid, it has good brightness, decent enough upscaling and motion, less aggressive dimming than the S95c, it just never "wowed" me. I also miss having Dolby Vision.
Watching football on this TV is an awful experience. I don't know if it's because Paramount+ has a poor quality stream, but it just looks dark and muddy - even on vivid mode. So I haven't watched any games this season. No loss as I've lost interest in football 6 or 7 years ago.
The built in audio on this TV is terrible. There's no balance, it sounds flat, the "surround sound" and "base" is almost non-existent and the volume is pretty low.
Tizen is still a mess of an platform and I just hate it, I don't like that there's no input button on the remote, but I find I just learned not to switch inputs as often as I usually do and just use my Apple TV or Nvidia Shield for everything.
While this is a QD OLED, I don't think I've watched anything that particularly "wowed" me. But then I've been on this obsessive KDrama kick the last month so I'm not expecting to be blown away. But the faces do look waxy, without much "3 dimensional pop." But at $2,499 it's hard to find much fault and I can live with it. The TCL QM8 had more of a punch and "wow" factor for me.
Would a S95c "better"? Maybe. LG G3 is definitely better than the S95c and while I haven't seen the Sony A95L, I would assume that's better as well. The ultimate question you need to ask yourself, are any of those 3 TVs $1,800+ better (or in the case of the A95l, $2,600+) and the simple answer is HECK NO! Save that money and invest in a nice sound system and you'll still have a bunch of money left over.
Most people would probably have buyer's remorse coming from this TV to one of the flagships because at the end of the day, unless you have both TVs side by side, you aren't going to really notice a true difference.

Amazing TV with a big con.

I originally purchased the 65” version of this TV, but I didn’t achieve the quality I aimed for with the settings. Still, I decided to give this TV another chance and I got the 77” version this time, considering the 77 one has a second-gen panel. I also discovered Samsung has a smart calibrator, which allowed me to set picture settings to my liking. I guess the second-gen panel and size truly made the difference to me, as I found the picture on this TV simply amazing! It’s genuinely mind-blowing and next-level compared to other TVs. Beautiful and accurate colors. Perfect blacks. The image quality and brightness are very impressive. You can always tweak a setting to adjust the TV to your preference. It doesn’t have Dolby Vision, but it is not even noticeable! The TV does a great job with HDR+.
I noticed the TV isn’t the best in rendering low-quality content, but low-quality content will remain low-quality even in the best TV in the world, so this wasn’t a big deal to me.
The menus and user interface are a little special, but it’s definitely something you can get used to.
The BIG CON:
I initially liked the audio on the 65”, but after thoroughly testing the TV with multiple content this time, I discovered a big con that could potentially be a deal breaker. It’s unfortunate considering the price point, but this TV does not level the audio in a proper/enjoyable manner, meaning that you will experience very low audio for some scenes and very high for others, making you manually change the volume constantly. Everything is quiet and normal, and then bang! A big sound explosion that can cause discomfort for you and the people around you, especially if you live in an apartment complex.
The bass and richness are great, but the leveling is an issue. There’s an audio level equalizer, but the big problem is that this feature is turned off in Game mode! So, you will dislike the audio performance if you mainly purchased this TV for gaming unless you intend to game with headphones. I couldn’t adjust a setting on the game mode to improve it, and the issue is more noticeable when playing fast-paced combat games.
While the problem can be manageable in movies or TV shows by adjusting the volume and with the equalizer, it cannot be done in game mode.
I recommend getting this TV if you are willing to spend an extra $700+ on a decent sound bar that can improve the audio quality and levels. Or if you live in a big house alone so that you cannot bother anyone and don’t mind highly noticeable sound inequalities.

The TV So Good, I Forgot What Outside Looks Like

I recently upgraded to the Samsung 77" Class S90C OLED 4K UHD Smart TV, and let me tell you—this TV is a life-changing, mind-blowing, eye-popping portal to a world of pixel perfection. Paired with my Sonos Arc Soundbar, it’s like my living room has been turned into a movie theater, minus the sticky floors and overpriced popcorn.
First off, 77 inches of pure OLED magic? Yes, please! The colors are so vivid I’m convinced the TV is conspiring to make everything outside my window look dull by comparison. Watching nature documentaries has me wondering if I accidentally invited a pack of wolves into my house—everything is just that real.
The 4K UHD resolution paired with the deep, inky blacks from the OLED display is a thing of beauty. Whether I’m watching an intense action movie or scrolling through menus, everything looks smooth, sharp, and lifelike. There’s zero lag, zero weird shadows, just flawless picture quality. It’s so good, I had to adjust the brightness on my phone afterward because it suddenly looked like it was from the 1990s.
Smart Tizen? A breeze to navigate. I’m not exactly a tech wizard, but I had everything set up in no time. And with all the streaming apps ready to go, I now have access to more content than I’ll ever have time to watch. Yet, somehow, I still spend 20 minutes scrolling through Netflix deciding on what to watch.
The cherry on top? Pairing this bad boy with my Sonos Arc Soundbar. Now, when those Dolby Atmos soundscapes hit, I’m not just watching a movie—I’m in the movie. The combo is so immersive that I’ve caught myself dodging explosions in action scenes more than once.
All in all, the Samsung S90C OLED is hands down the best TV I’ve ever owned. If you want a viewing experience that will spoil you forever and ruin every other screen for you, this is the one.

Best tv I’ve ever owned. Originally purchased tcl Qm8. It was to replace the Hisense u8h. That replaced the Sony a80l. Tried the mini led to get brighter for the room. But ultimately went back to oled for the smaller details. Not as bright but it’s really close. To the point that I can use it with my windows fully open. If you need more brightness then dynamic mode will make it just as bright as many mini led tvs but the colors will be less accurate. What they don’t tell you about mini led is if you pick a more accurate mode than the brightness matches this tv.
