This Samsung television is simply outstanding. The picture quality brings the images to life. It is easy to use. I used Geek Squad service for delivery and setup. They did a great job installing it in the correct position for the room. I highly recommend this television.

There really aren't many reviews out there on the 82" model and I bought this sight unseen as there also weren't any near by Magnolia stores to actually SEE one. But based on previous, much smaller Samsungs I own, I figured I couldn't go wrong.... and I didn't. Picture-wise, I like everything about this TV! If you need the size I don't think you can go wrong either!

Besides being just a big television it has great quality. The smart remote is very usefull with all the accessories and programs I can link with it. It makes it so much easier to just control everything with one remote instead of 2 or 3 remotes. If you install a nice surround system like I did (BOSE) it’s like having a mini movie theatre. My kids love it. Well worth it.

The technician installed it and put the cords inside the wall and it looks beautiful on the wall, no cords showing.

When we bought our house we purchased a 70" Visio to put above the fireplace in our main family room. It is a big fireplace And the Vizio never quite filled the space. Plus, we always felt something was lacking in the color and deep blacks when watching movies.. So we searched and found this 82" Samsung at Best Buy and fell in love with it. Unfortunately our 1st Best Buy sales person tried his hardest to talk us out of it. Saying a back lit 65" Sony was a much better option than this side lit Samsung. This disappointed us because we really like this TV and were ready to write a check that night. We were so frustrated that we left without buying and almost nixed the idea. A week or so later we went to a different Best Buy store and talked with Michael in Delafield. While he understood there are advantages to certain features and technologies built into every TV, Michael really listened to how we watch TV (which is primarily movies and some sporting) and he thought based on our viewing preferences this TV would be great. And he was right. We love watching movies and the extra size makes for a huge improvement in our viewing experience and it fits perfectly in this space. Regarding the TV we love the quality picture. The screen is plenty bright. Scenes are vivid. Colors are rich and the blacks are deep black -while being able to see details in dark scenes. Plus we have not noticed any type of blurring during an action scene or during football / hockey games. We have enjoyed this TV a month and we are confident we made the right choice. I highly recommend it.

Awesome picture in HD ! I bought a 4K dvd to try called extreme adventure collection and the picture in 4K was beautiful ! However I’ve seen better in the Samsung OLED tv but it’s only in a 75” the 82” 4K was only $3299 GREAT PRICE ! For its size

Wow, a superb picture quality. Bright, clear, dynamic color like nobodys business. What a great size for you Home Theater. My movie watching has gone thru the roof. Guys what a tv also for watching football, feels like you are on the field.

I’d been looking for big size of 4K forever. I finally found one for under $3,799.99. Nothing come close with that size with that price and quality of picture. Best for money. I would recommend to everyone.

I've been following the 4K HDR TV market for quite a while now. We all know the quality gets better, the price gets lower over time. But at some point you have to decide your entry point in order to enjoy the current technology at a great value instead of waiting until the technology is dated. This 82 inch TV at this price represented the best value for me. My family enjoys the amazing picture quality and the size of the screen in our viewing room, and I know I did not pay an arm and leg for it.

This Samsung 82in TV is great I was surprised how good the blacks are on this TV since I already have a LG OLED TV, the 4K HDR videos are fantastic. So far no problems with this TV. I find myself watching this TV more than my OLED TV

Note: when the unit arrives, make sure that each side of the TV has rubber flaps (not sure what else to call them) adhered to each side of the screen. The flaps protect the TV when you are handling it to set it up so that you do not apply pressure to screen from you hands gripping it; they are critical. The first unit did not have these and I realized in retrospect when the 2nd Tv was delivered that this must have been the reason I was having glare issues (aka flash lighting) on the sides of the TV when viewing a black picture. First unit that was delivered ended up being defective. Customer service is severely lacking, but we were able to get the TV exchanged and the 2nd unit works awesome. The TV is beautifully designed, the picture is very crisp, blacks are exceptional, and the apps and smart Tv features are excellent.

Awesome picture, 82" mistubishi DLP owner for years, upgraded to this set. Love the picture. I am glad however, that I had a sound bar. I just mounted it to the wall this weekend using an articulating mount. Made a lot of difference in the viewing angle. Picture is great no matter where in the room you are.

I was looking to replace 120 inch projector for better quality picture. I had bought 75" other brand new and took it back because it wasn't big enough. I wondered if 82 inches would be noticeable bigger. Yes, smaller than 120 but awesome picture is worth it. The only problem with it is I can't get my son off of it

The quality of the picture and colors of this TV is quite remarkable. Our use geek squad to wall-mounted and they did an amazing job. I highly recommend this for anyone that wants a large TV.

I purchased this 82Inch beast because i was amazed with the quality size and features. I do not use regular cable for tv service i have Netflix,Amazon prime video,and youtube tv just to liat a few apps i also have a antenna that doesn't get used often however even when using ota antenna you can see details that you have never seen before even at close range it does not have video lag that causes them headaches when viewing a large screen to close from a cheap manufacture. This product is great i will be reviewing alot more Samsung products as well soon as we are doing many upgrades to our home. if you have questions reply here and ill try to answer.

Purchased this TV after my outdated and dinky 42” plasma started giving me problems. Best move I could have made , This TV is awesome, quick and easy setup, great picture! If you have the wall space I highly recommend this television.

This set is an upgrade from a 82" DLP (which I loved) The DLP has a great picture, however, this picture is amazing. I just got it two days ago, so not sure about longevity, I hope it lasts the ten years I got out of My DLP which was still working fine. I upgraded for picture quality and floor space. I am going to mount this on the wall

I went in to purchase the Samsung 82in 4K TV. The salesman was very knowledgeable. He set up for the TV to be delivered to my house. The Geek Squad was great! They called me an hour before they were going to show. I was running behind and ended up showing up 15 min late to my house and they were kind enough to wait for me even though they weren't supposed to. I would totally recommend purchasing from Best Buy and using the Geek Squad!!

After having a 70" for awhile, my next upgrade had to be an 80" + TV. This Samsung TV provided great value especially when I bought it during the Black Friday sales. After performing plenty of research, I will say that Samsung and Sony currently are the leading Companies in the TV industry especially when it comes to its' internal components and hardware. This TV has not disappointed and I am enjoying it a lot.
