In all, this is a good TV. It does have some annoyances, though. Out of the box, the picture is pretty bad. It takes some messing around in the settings to get good. If you have good source content, the picture looks fantastic. Throw in a mediocre source, and it's pretty bad. Worse than some other TVs I've seen. Garbage in/Garbage out. If you use an external media player (Apple TV, Roku, etc), things may get irritating. Switching to a soundbar, or using passthrough from a soundbar or receiver makes it so the universal remote doesn't control much. If you plug straight into the TV (ARC is on HDMI4, and all inputs support HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2), the remote will identify the device and work. Pretty neat. However, you'll lose Dolby ATMOS if you have it (the TV will passthrough the DTS+, but not straight ATMOS). I'm going to keep the TV, but I'll admit that I wish I'd have taken a better look (in person) of the Sony 85" 850F.

I bought this to replace my 70 in sharp,which I put in the basement of my new house,wasnt sure how I felt about Samsung,this tv has definitely delivered!!!! Amazing picture,easy to use,not sure how the sound is,mine is connected to a home theater.Oh and I got it for 800.00 off.

I was hell bent on my first OLED TV and set to buy it for my Bday/ Father's Day gift. That's when BB decided to mark this one down to $2k with a $300 gift card. It's obviously not as rich in color but the quality is the same as my Sam 60 4K. This was well worth the price and there shouldn't be any favoritism with all of em being almost the exact same specs.

Love the Television but hate that as smart as it is with technology it has to be calibrated to get the best quality picture as we saw it In the store.After purchasing the team who installed it informed us that to get more accurate colors and picture quality we have to spend another $200.00 to have it done. Why is this not included in the $3,499.99 cost to purchase it?

I absolutely love the quality of this tv. I have been waiting quite sometime to upgrade the size of my family room tv. I have bad eyesight and wanted to get something larger than the 55" I had in the room. This tv was the answer! I spend more time in the family room now. Movies and regular shows are so much better now! I don't have cable and the antenna shows crispy clear. I do recommend pairing the tv with a nice sound bar though.

the quality of this 82 inch tv is unbelievable! Nothing is lost with the large size, and everything is so much better! The picture is almost life like.

The Geek Squad was perfect. We scheduled a free consultation with Sheldon and he was great. We wanted to move a TV to another room to make room for the new one and had a couple of steps to get everything where we wanted it. It went well and the guys knew exactly what we wanted and had the time planned to do it right. We love the TV! 82 inches is perfect for our great room. We had to play with it to get the settings exactly how we wanted them for watching movies and used our old Yamaha receiver and Klipsh speakers. We are so happy!

I got this Samsung 82 inch TV for my birthday and I couldn’t be happier. It works perfectly and the picture is great.

I own 2 large to huge size Samsung 4K TV's model year 2017 and 2018. The color picture quality is amazingly vibrant yet very attractive to watch. Our video watching habit ranging from nature beauty to action movies... Rarely I recall we were unhappy with these 2 TV's. Model 2018 has incorporated Bixby, a feature that Samsung had integrated into Samsung phones a few years back, yet honestly I really wish it wasn't there. Just my personal taste.

Picture quality and size is amazing. This was on sale and couldn’t resist. Best decision ever.

I was worried that the price wouldn’t do this tv justice but I was wrong. This was a great purchase and the picture is better than I could have expected. Watching shows on Netflix, Vudu, Amazon, and cable tv are clear even without my contacts in and love sports are a awesome viewing experience.

The TV is absolutely wonderful. Crisp, clear and it's almost like you can walk into the picture. We have a very large living room, so the 82" TV mounted high on the wall is like a home movie theater.

Excellent picture at a great price point considering what an 85 inch tv costs the 82 inch was a more reasonable choice for me. I wanted a large screen to watch sports and action movies. I am very satisfied with the TV.

We recently upgraded from a 65 inch Samsung to the 82 inch. We are thrilled with the clarity of the picture, color and sound. Best Buy's price was competitive and with free delivery. In addition we had the Geek Squad remove the wall mounted old TV and and install a new wall mount and the TV. They made sure we understood how to use the new remote and the TV's capabilities. Overall, a great experience with Best Buy.

Recently picked up a Samsung 82" NU8000 as a secondary TV. I recently purchased another high end Samsung, so I did not need to spend a fortune on this one. I have to say, I was quite impressed on the color and clarity when viewing 4K content. I love the size as well. Paired up with a complete Sonos system, and this TV is perfect. Definitely happy with my purchase and glad I went with Samsung again!

Very nice Tv exept that it doesn’t play some file typ like MKV or even worse does not play or Suport DTS Audio. And most of Tvs will Suport that We are talking about Samsung 82 inch, should be top of the line Very disappointed there , other than that so far perfect TV.
