I upgraded from a 5 year old hard drive to this and I couldn’t even believe the difference. The speed is INSANE! My PC starts up instantly and loads everything instantly! Quick and easy install too! Highly recommend!

I use this nvme as extra storage and speed for my Gaming PC. It was easy to install and get started. It is very reliable and at a good price.

Superfast SSD. A bit expensive but it is worth every penny for quick boot and load speeds. Easily install into your NVMe slot on your motherboard. The only thing I would say is if you can go for the 1TB do it

I bought this SSD for my HP Spectre 2018 model. My previous NVMe SSD was failing and I needed one urgently. After a bit of research, I decided on the Samsung 970 Plus Evo as the best choice. Fortunately, Best Buy came in clutch and had them in stock. First item you will notice with this Samsung NVMe is that they are significantly faster. Everything feels faster from transfering data to simple browsing, I noticed it all feels quicker. Make sure to be careful when replacing the SSD by yourself since they are thin and fragile. Also be sure to have a way to install Windows on the new SSD. I used the following link to get a Windows iso file and then activated it later. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10ISO If you cloned your drive you won't have to worry about activating it. Overall, I seriously am enjoying how quick this SSD is. If you are looking for a replacement, I do highly recommend Samsung's 970 Plus Evo's. You won't be disappointed and you'll certainly feel the difference in speeds.

I bought an HP15 Notebook with a Ryzen 7 and 16GB ram but the storage was only 128gb which isn't enough storage to run any games or photo editing software. I went with the smaller storage space planning on upgrading the storage since the rest of the system specs are right where I wanted them to be at the price point I wanted to pay After a quick visit to the HP Support page I watched the instructional video and swapped this out in less than 30 mins. This SDD quadrupled my storage space and not only gives me a super fast boot time it runs everything fast and just like I expected. Big platter drives are great for extra storage but you must run one of these nowadays. I highly recommend it.

Best bang for $ in samsung NVME line up, almost same performance as the 970 pro model but for way cheaper. using it as a boot drive for my new ryzen 7 PC and getting into windows in less than 10 secons!

This m.2 ssd gave me more than enough storage and speed for gaming titles and is an overall 15 seconds windows boot from the time of shut down to login screen.

I bought this one to replace an old SSD in my workstation when it was on sale at BestBuy. To prevent the overheating, I installed it with a heatsink purchased from a third party. My computer has been running significant faster even since.

I use this NVMe drive for my OS (windows 11) and non-gaming programs / files. For me, the 500GB capacity is perfect for this, but I do use a separate 1TB NVMe drive for my game library. Rule of thumb I see online is to keep the storage space 10-30% free, but I aim to keep it below 50% to keep performance high. This drive easily met the advertised speeds in the right scenarios, boots windows extremely quickly, and installs updates in a fraction of the time windows estimates.

Not only do you get a very fast drive, but you save room in your PC. This thing is about the size of a stick of gum. I've been very impressed with it's performance.

After having purchased a 1TB model of this NVME SSD, I decided to buy one for my wife's aging laptop. Now her 4 year old laptop which used to take 30-60 seconds to boot gets to the desktop in 10-15, and everything she does with it is blazing fast. I would recommend this as the single best upgrade you can do to an older, aging computer. It will feel like you've got a brand new machine. As a plus, the free Samsung Data Transfer software will make a perfect copy of your drive in minutes, saving you the headache of reinstalling Windows, and all of your drivers.

This is my first NVMe SSD, and it is amazing, I really mean it! I used this as my boot drive to replace my very slow HDD, and the results didn't disappoint. Read/write speeds are 3500/3300, so booting up will be as fast as a rocket, and overall you'll see a big boost in performance on your PC if you're replacing your old HDD or building a new PC and using this. Fast , just fast, hyper speed UFO fast, and very easy to install into a M.2 slot. Its amazingly fast and so far very reliable with no issues.

It has very good quality and is redeuced to very low price now. If you dont need top of the line/newest generation SSD, this is a very good and reliable alternative option.

The 970 EVO Plus is more affordable than ever, and will run like a champ the vast majority of the time. Even when it drops out of cache, 850MBps isn't going to cause you much buyer remorse. If you want something better than bargain-basement (which is still pretty fast in the grand storage scheme), the the 970 EVO Plus is what you're looking for.

Though there may be cheaper options, I've relied on Samsung for many years and have never been let down. I hadn't built a new PC in 7 years and this HD technology was new to me. I was familiar with SATA SSD drives, but the NVME SSD's are so much faster, at least on boot. I can't believe how fast I am at my Windows login screen with this drive. Though I haven't run any stress tests or benchmarks, I am convinced that this is the best thing to happen to PC building since PCIE. Phenominal!
