    First time ever buying just an internal hard drive. Now I feel I have been missing out for too long. The 990 EVO Plus 2TB PCIe Gen 4x4 5x2 M.2 2280 with speeds up to 7,250 MB/s is amazing and I love it and Best Buy installed it perfectly

    This is my third 990 EVO Plus. Faultless. One in an outboard caddy for extra storage on my MacBook Air, two in my last Windows desktop build from last summer. Fast, reliable, does not produce much heat

    Really fast (as expected); easy to install and I am very happy with it. I am using it with an external case and find the transfer speeds much quicker than standard external drive,s so I don't "downgrade" my laptop performance for more space.

    Installed the 990 EVO SSD on a new laptop as a D drive. This is my fourth Samsung SSD upgrade with no hardware problems. Even better, it was on sale. I do wonder why Samsung doesn't include the darned installation screw with the SSD? I don't think that the screw cost would bankrupt the company. Asus has the right idea with their pitstop or tool less laptop upgrade chassis which makes laptop upgrades easier than desktop. However, the Samsung is a sweet SSD.
