I did not exspect what I see in the bluray player box and was shocked to find out that my bluray player the one I ordered with flickr came with out a working flickr application good thing for me my samsung smart tv has a browser built in to the universal remote control so now I can get flickr on the url with no problem.

the product is to my satisfaction - really enjoy it.

This is my first Blu-ray player, and I am impressed. This little player is compact, easy to setup and use, and has a good set of features. The low price was attractive, but the product's quality is high.

Easy one step set up. Excellent value for the price. Small and compact. Great first time or back up Blu-ray player.

There's not much to say. It does it's job well, it sets up easily, hooks up to my wi-fi without any problems. My only issue is with the anywhere link between Samsung devices, that kicks my TV off HDMI input whenever I shut the blu-ray player off. (There's probably a setting to correct this, I haven't checked yet.) But other than that, it's good quality, good sound, good video playback. All I could want from a blu ray, at a decent price, and not a gigantic form factor either.

Great price and always the quality you expect from Samsung. Like the Wi-Fi and the smaller size than what all DVD players used be. Love the picture when playing any DVD either standard or blu-ray format on my Samsung LED TV. Good price on a Blu-ray player.

This unit is small and compact, has a lot of features, and is affordable...Very happy with the purchase.

Bought this for our 30" samsung tv in the bedroom and it works perfectly. It doesn't take up a ton of space, has a great picture and isn't too complicated to use. Works great with my wifi, streams movies, music with the various built in apps and with little to no lag. And best of all it's got a great price tag! The only problem I have with it is that the netflix application does not have an option to save your login information, so you have to type it in everytime! Which takes forever with a remote. It does have a USB port in the front but does not support a keyboard. Despite the netflix thing, I've been extremely happy with the his purchase!

I'm very happy with this blu ray player. This is the first one i've owned. Set up is extremely easy. Movies look great with this connected to my new 60" Vizio. Netflix was easy to use through the blu ray. I am very satisfied with my purchase

For a basic smart dvd player at a sub $70 price, I strongly recommend it. It's a bedroom unit and two 2 minutes to set up to a Samsung TV. Picture quality is great. I bought an ethernet cable thinking it would be better/faster than wifi, but I never bothered. I've had the unit for 2 months and never had a buffering problem from Netflix or my PC. . It has a front USB port and it plays AVI, AAC, and MKS formats. DVD player plays burned dvds without any problems. Linked readily to a windows based PC. I have a lot of music and when I try to bring it up, it takes a very long time to load. Not worth the wait. For video and pictures, I have less and it is quicker. I suggest if you want to make your PC available that you put a subset of your media in a shared folder rather than all. Alternatively, put them on a thumb drive and use the USB port. Player has about 10 apps including Netflix, Hulu and Pandora. I've used Netflix and Pandora without any problem. I also have a soundbar, but can't link the dvd player to the soundbar via my very basic TV in part because dvd has only 1 type of audio output that is not compatible with the sound bar. Only other output is hdmi to the TV. So i settle for TV sound. The remote is very crowded and busy and this makes it easier to hit wrong button and accidentally stop play. Remote has rear lighting. On screen keyboard is a bit clumsy and slow, but you basically won't use it once you have set up your smart apps. I've read some not so positive reviews on the net, but frankly, for a basic dvd player, I can't imagine it could be much better except for more output options.

This blueray player is wifi ready and has Netflix, Facetime and Weather ready built in. Very easy to use and hook up. Only downside is no browser option.

Very easy to use. I had to turn up the sound on my tv quite a bit because I have no external speakers. It would probably work better with external speakers. The wifi works well, but it will not connect if you have to login via a website. It only works if it just needs a password to access a router. I bought it to take with me on trips with hotel stays. It is small and easy to carry, but the wifi at most hotels requires a website login. Otherwise, very easy to use and good picture quality.

For less then $100.00 the Samsung BD-F5700 is a perfect Blu-ray player. Small & very easy to set up. Have not tried the Wi-Fi yet but for watching movies it's the best player I've used. I have two other Blu-ray players which are good but not as fast loading or as good a player as the Samsung. Other players I've used occasionally freeze or crash. Not the Samsung. I've had it for about 2 months & use it every day. Not a single problem. I would recommend this player.

Pros...very compatible with my Samsung tv. Set up was super easy and every was in sync with ease. The picture and sound quality are great. Cons...dvds load kind of slow. The remote has to be exactly directed at the box (like a bulls eye) in order to turn it on or function. Otherwise you'll just be continuously pushing buttons at the box wondering why nothing is happening. I would recommend it. But I was told Sony may be better.

Great little machine , many features and so small, saves so much space. Was easy to set up and works beautifully. I love that is plays both blue ray and my older DVD's too. Was very easy to update. Has wifi, so many features for a great price.

First stand alone Blu Ray player, got it on sale before Christmas, You can't use it as a stand alone CD player for your stereo without using a TV to set it up first, you have to have it hooked up to a TV for menu stuff. Set up was very easy and it plays well, no issues in a month of use so far. Odd it doesn't have any sort of display on the front at all.

Easy to use, small and compact, good quality, good price

I upgraded from a standard Samsung Blu-ray to this one because of the ability to play different types of media, and it has the Wi-Fi feature. It works great. The picture and sound quality are very clear, and it's extremely compact and lightweight. I definitely recommend this Samsung Blu-ray player.

Absolutely love having this BluRay Wi-fi player. It comes equipped with many entertainment options, including Netflix and Hulu subscriptions, etc. The only consistent glitch I have encountered is with the Pandora (free) feature where the screen will eventually freeze. According to Samsung Support, the only way to correct this is to unplug the unit, count to eight, and plug the unit back in again. This does occur frequently and can be annoying, but it is still well worth being able to enjoy beautiful music filling the house. Occasionally, the remote will not properly pause a movie, but that has only happened once or twice. The next time I use the unit, the remote works just fine. I would prefer to have the on / off indicator lights on the front of the unit, because they are hidden from view when using the remote. Otherwise, it is trouble free and I would very highly recommend this player because it has brought me so much enjoyment and I believe it is basically of superior quality. It's wonderful.

my last Samsung blue ray player was twice the size of this one. it was easy to install and shows a better picture than the old one. I am delighted with it. the only problem is I have yet to figure out if it is off or on!
