I got this Chromebook about 2 moths ago when I got tired of my Lenovo PC dying on my, and let me say that I will never go back to a PC. This Chromebook is way faster than the PC I had and runs so much smoother. Considering that I just needed something for school this thing is great! Google Docs makes it easy to take notes, the battery life is great, it is small and light, and the screen quality is pretty good and bright. I wouldn't be giving an honest review if I didn't give some cons. My personal cons are it freezes sometimes, some apps don't snap to the half and half screen, and there is not a back-lit keyboard. All things considered I think it still earned a 5 star review, and what determined that was the product that you get for the price. Overall, if you are looking for a simple computer at an affordable price I would defiantly recommend the Samsung Chromebook Pro.

This is a good Chromebook, but on the pricier side. The M processor should, in theory, provide good performance for this type of machine, considering you are running a few android apps and using the browser for most of your other needs. However, it is overwhelmingly underpower. Don’t expect the performance of an iCore 5 or 7, like the google pixel book. Let’s dive into the details. Hardware: This device does not feel premium. The shell is made of black plastic with silver buttons for power and volume. The keyboard is ok. Feels like other Samsung Chromebooks out there. I still like the google pixelbook better. The screen is very nice, with its 3:2 aspect ratio. Good for overall media consumption but a bit awkward when working in some apps. I did not test the battery life on this device, but it should be able to get through a normal day usage. Specs: Another nice thing of the Samsung Chromebook line up is the addition of an S pen. The pen resides inside the main unit, just like the Galaxy note. Although this is very convenient and prevents from losing the pen, I found I was not using the pen regularly. I tried doodling and writing on OneNote but I found the pen to be too small and the response on the screen to be a bit laggy. I guess if you are familiar with the S line of pens, this should be an easy adjustment. The nice feature, similar to the note, was the contextual menu that appears when you grab the pen from the unit. You can also access the contextual menu from the task bar. Overall, I thought it was ok. I wish the pen was more robust, but I understand, that will add thickness to the device. Table mode: The implementation of the 360 degree hinge is ok. However, when folded, the device feels awkward. You can’t really get a good grasp on the device. Considering the back is the keyboard, it feels strange. I think I would prefer a detachable keyboard instead. Apps: Ok, here is my contention point. The Chromebooks are supposed to run android apps, which is great since we already have a wide number and variety. My problem is that I cannot get all the apps I use on my Android device to run on the chromebook. For example, I use the office 365 Suites across all of my devices; I know, I know, why are you using Office? It is a work thing. Anyway, I tried to download the excel app, and it was not available. I tried using the OneDrive app, but it wouldn’t connect me to my personal account, it was able to look at my work account. Looking online, it appears this is common issue. So, the fact that not all apps are available, really pushed me to return to device. My main intention was to use this device as an additional tool that I can use for work and for some personal stuff. The fact that the integration of the apps is not there 100% is disappointing. For regular activities, like checking email and browsing the web, this device is fine. For more intense heavy work-related things, this device might not be the right device; unless you are comfortable switching within web version and app version applications PRO: S pen functionality – for those who like the S pen Portability 2-1 implementation is ok for this type of device Screen CONS: Not all android apps work The keyboard can feel plasticky
