How awesome is it when you get a 4K tv $2500 off original price and they throw in whole home WiFi connect from Samsung to interlink your products. A+

This was an easy setup. Just follow the instructions from the Samsung connect/. Remember that if you have a low-grade modem it will not perform well.

Samsung have always made good products but this is one product that is amazing from them. The Samsung Home Connect is one of the most powerful mesh networking I have used thus far. This is a fantastic router in a great all around package. The design is one of the most striking things about this smart Wifi system, They are small like little hockey pucks that can fit into areas Wifi systems don't usually fit. This is a good thing a lot of routers like the Orbi is huge and takes up way more space then it should due to more plastic on the device. These do not have that problem and you can place them on a wall. Home Connect is made for the home and it shows, it is extremely easy to set up and include most of the basics out of the box. Quick start guide is clear and everything is simple to understand. The port on the back of each unit is LAN IN that can deliver up to 866 Mbps @5 GHz / 400 Mbps @2.4 GHz (which is AWESOME!) and a LAN OUT port. I used and connected both ports and they all worked fine without the headache this very Intelligent router. The performance is out of this world! And while I can't test these speeds it certainly can handle it did give me 200 Mbps on the 5GHz network consistently all over the home at once. Everything you looking for in a modern consumer home router is here. 2x2 MU-MIMO support (!), Mesh Networking, Powerful Range, Quad Wifi Antenna, Wifi (a/b/g/ac), Zigbee and Z-Wave support...Its all packed into perhaps Samsung's greatest routers. Every device I used maintained the level of speed it was designed to handle. Streamed 4K Netflix content without a problem on my TV, Maintained the level of speed with my Nvidia Shield Tablet streaming PC games, iPhone 6s Plus and iPad Air 2 all stayed strong with Apple Music, Galaxy S6 edge Plus and PS4 was being used simultaneously with other devices all at once. Nothing can slow this router down when you want need it. Anything I connected to it was all keeping the same speed at once without slow down The range is fantastic I can literary go outside the house connected. It covered my whole house easily and the backyard...heck I can even sit on my roof and use these things! Samsung Connect Smart Wi-Fi app is really good. (On Android the app works flawless with my Samsung Galaxy 6 edge plus but iOS app I didn't see in the App Store at this time of writing.) You can keep track of everything going on with your home. Change the TV, Turn on lights if you use it as a smartThings hub, Control Music, Check the A/C, Check what time your laundry is done, Make Schedules for your home to turn on lights, Motions in front of your door, Yes you can even check the smoke detector in your home. You are living in the future with this product if you have the right set up. Obviously I couldn't test all of these things because I don't have All Wifi home products but what I do have it worked (lights and TV control.) There is more these routers can do I just haven't seen it all, I would have loved to try Bixby. If you are looking for the ultimate in home routers this would be it. I have tested a lot of new mesh networks lately like the Orbi and Velop but this one is my favorite from Samsung. This will meet all your expectations and more if you have the right uses for these. It's just simple to use and easy to use. I would recommend to friends that's looking for good router at a fantastic price. Anyone with a home would absolutely love what Samsung have to offer.

This is my first Whole Home WIfi system. I see good improvement in coverage. Good to have Zwave compatible and get rid of other HUB.Btw I bought this in deal. Wish there is a way to use Parental controls

This product is really two separate things combined into one, a mesh wireless router system and a home automation hub. Combining them is a really great idea, and the Samsung Connect Home executes it well. First, I'll talk about the mesh wireless router system. Getting it set up was very easy. Step one: Download the app (iOS and Android version available). Step two: Connect the first of the three units to a power source and your ISP (cable modem, fiber optic terminal, etc.). Step three: Search for the device using the app and set your network name, password, etc. Once those steps were done, I had a working wireless network that covered the part of my home near the first unit. Next, I strategically located the other two units, searched for them with the app, and used the on screen prompts to join the existing network. After these steps (which took about 5-10 minutes total), I had wireless connectivity throughout my house, including spaces where my old router just couldn't reach. I'm very happy with the coverage, the speed, and the straightforward security features. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any way to manage the settings without the app. There's no web interface, and no version of the app for desktop computers. Sometimes I like to do things with a full size screen and keyboard, or just don't want to go find my phone, and best I can tell, there's no way to do that with the Samsung Home Connect. The app didn't even let me install on my tablet, so it's smart phone or nothing. Next, I'll talk about the home automation hub. There are a lot of home automation schemes available, and most of the more sophisticated ones require you to get a hub before you can begin. The bulbs, switches, sensors, etc. rely on the hub to communicate with one another. With the Samsung Connect Home, that fantastic 3-station mesh network does double duty as an automation hub with coverage all over the house! Once I activated the SmartThings feature using the Connect Home app, I was able to start using connected products immediately. Anything that has a SmartThings, Zigbee, or Z-Wave logo should work. I picked up a smart bulb, screwed it into a lamp, and the same app that I used to set up the Wi-Fi network found it and began to control it. It really was that easy! I've already added a second bulb, and we plan to add some switches and sensors over time. My only complaint about the home automation aspect of this product is that the documentation doesn't really direct you to any good tutorials on setting up a smart home, or the other, more advanced app that Samgung/SmartThings offers. I had to search around online to learn all of the cool things I could do. So, overall, this really is a great product. Ten minutes after opening the box, I had fantastic Wi-Fi coverage throughout my home. One smart light bulb later and I was controlling things like I was in a 1980s movie about the future. The two small downsides (for me) were the fact that you need to use an app on a mobile phone to set up and control the system, and the "go explore and find the information yourself" nature of the home automation features. Still very much worthy of a four star rating.

My wife loved this and so I purchased it for her!!

Needed to extend wi-fi in order to install and access a security camera. Had no problems with installation and it extended our wi-fi approx. 60 feet to the 2nd level on the far side of house.

I got it two weeks ago and have not set it up yet.

Have a larger home and was using signal boosters and kept dropping connections. This system covers the main lvl, basement and upstairs with full bars. Enough bandwidth for entire family. Price is reasonable considering the frustrations it solved.
