As a Sprint customer for many years I am used to Samsung's flagship phones, having had the Note 3, S6, Note 8, and S9+. So when I decided to change carriers and replace my damaged S9+,
I wanted to see what was in the lower price market and I came across the A21. I read the specs and a few scattered reviews and decided this was going to have to be the one.
Going on day 4 with the phones, and so far, I am pleasantly surprised! With Samsung smart switch, all my files were transferred over to my new phone in less than 8 minutes, and when my new phone restarted it looked exactly like my old phone, wall paper, home screen folders, everything. Phone is MUCH more responsive than I thought it would be, easily comparing to my S9+ in touch and responsiveness.
Camera is more than sufficient for the average user and again surprised me a little bit in the low light category. Sound is a little tinny out of the box but was easily fixed with the equalizer and is actually quite loud when cranked up. The body. It is plastic and you defiantly know your not holding a flagship phone, but again, get a case and that goes away as well. As I had both phones active for two days I held them side by side and walked around the house and property and signal strength was exact on both phones.
Conclusion: This is a fantastic phone for the price and would do well by any novice to moderate users.

For a budget android device I have been pretty impressed. I needed a loaner phone, something android that wouldnt take long to set up and use. This phone surprised me with its abilities for the price. For being an entry level device I was impressed. It lacks some of the more advanced features you find in flagship phones but overall I was surprised to see how well this phone did in the 2 weeks that I needed it. I am happy to turn this device off and keep it in reserve is I need a backup phone again.

The Samsung A21 is a great phone for the price. Screen looks good, camera photos look high quality, and it does what any common user would need from a phone (at a fraction of the cost).

Cheap Galaxy phone Android 11. No contracts, not locked. Need to add an SD card and make primary for photos and backups. Decent screen size and battery life.

I am not a cellphone expert, but from my use of this cellphone so far (albeit about 2 months in), I am pretty satisfied with this phone as a replacement for the S6 that I somehow lost. The camera is definitely an upgrade, both the selfie camera and the outward cameras (there is a cluster of outward cameras to help provide better quality for the overall picture). The ability to toggle between any open apps is much easier than the S6 that I had. The ability to keep the youtube video on in miniature on my screen while also handling other tasks with other apps simultaneously is very nice. Also, I am able to drag the miniature youtube player to anywhere on my screen so that I can access any part of my screen without turning off the youtube video I am watching. One DOWNSIDE so far, though, is the stupid options of rings and or alarms. I feel like I lost some lovely rings and alarms with the loss of my S6. The standard alarms on the Galaxy A21 are not pleasant to me. I would prefer at least just ONE classical tune without any modern twist to it...Just one please. Oh well, at least, though, I am able to download other sounds to this phone and use that for a ringer or as an alarm. So, all is not at a loss.

Bought for my husband. Has held up for him, which is a miracle. He usually has a 3 month period before breaking/something going wrong for him. He is happy with it so far too. We'll see if anything changes as time goes by but overall good phone. Nice display, fast reaction and good price. May want to grab extra storage micro SD though, can go pretty quick.

This phone is great for the price. I do not need all the bells and whistles of a more expensive phone. This does the job. Camera is great.

My husband is rough on equipment so we didn't want to spend the big bucks on a more expensive Samsung Galaxy model. This phone works perfectly well for his needs, which I'd say are pretty average (phone, social media, games, watching videos, playing music, etc.).
The only problem we've had in the year that he's owned it is that the power charger port had to be replaced. It cost almost half as much as the phone. It's covered by the warranty, but you have to send it to Samsung, and he needed it repaired quickly.

Mom said the speaker phone was too low and she couldn't hear it so we had to exchange it for a different brand of phone. I have had a Samsung phone of some kind fpr many years tho and love them overall.

I have not used this yet, however Samsung phones are very good and affordable. They power up slow but last a long time. The storage capacity is good if you don't use it for much. I expect it will be a good phone.

Tried out the a-series because I have always had the s-series. Has the same feel as the S-series but just not waterproof. A nice screen for video watching and surfing the web. A little cheaper in the pocket book than a S-series too.

Great phone at a great price point. Offered as unlocked so I can use my own carrier, combined with features of a higher end Samsung phone made this very appealing. Phone works great....feature rich....highly recommended!!!

Pretty impressed with this phone for the price especially. The entry level phones are a huge step down from the $900 models, but this one is pretty great for the price tag. Recommend if you're not looking to go for the top model. It's worth paying more than the entry level.
