I was looking for a laptop with a lot of flexibility and the Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 2-in-1 16"has exceeded my expectations in the following ways: 1) New screen at 120Hz really look way much better. 2) Battery life seem to have improved a lot as well. 3) Build quality is pretty solid.. thus slightly heavier compare to Book 2 Pro. 1.1kg vs 870g. But the trade off is a more solid metal build compare to 2022 Book 2 Pro of slightly plastic feel. Look like a macbook air build quality. 4) Sound quality wise I feel is Solid/Clean/Crisp vs 2022 model (muzzled/faded sound). 5) Keyboard is a small more easily handled scissor keyboard. 6) Touch pad is much more bigger, with (Stylus Pen Included) 7) Price slightly on the higher side No complaints for a 5 Star "Samsung" Quality product).. Great investment though. USB-C: This laptop is "Packed with ports" From Thunderbolt 4 to USB-C to a microSD slot, the ports you need are built in right out of the box; Connect to a bigger screen or access your gaming library from an external USB-C connectors. Most other laptops have one or two. I use one port for power, one for my monitor dock, and one for a mouse. Dual monitors Connected as an extra to the "Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 2-in-1 16" (not included) -- I have two HDMI monitors (Both are SAMSUNG T350 Series 22-Inch FHD 1080p Computer Monitor, 75Hz) that connect to a monitor dock that has USB-C out. The laptop screen can be used as a third monitor. Trackpad -- when I'm not using the mouse (the mouse is not an addition, sold separately) & I control the large trackpad with my thumbs to navigate. It took some getting use to, but I like it more each time I use it. Touch screen -- when I have the TS folded completely back it is smooth and reactive, much like my iPad that I use) Razor thin -- this laptop is razor thin and extremely light. It's well built, but feels fragile. I HIGHLY recommend using it from within a case and most certainly transport it inside a case. The appearance of the laptop is very striking and I receive several compliments on it. My only gripe is that the keys are very low profile and it is still taking me some time getting use to it. I highly recommend buying this gem if you've been considering it.

    A little heartbroken

I owned the Samsung Notebook 9 pro 15 for 4 years and decided it was time to upgrade. I was extremely excited for this 360 ultrabook and preordered it right away. I am an artist who creates digital work and I love the format of a dual use laptop. I am not a very well off person, but I reasoned that I can make more income with my art if I upgrade (my notebook 9 pro's screen developed a dead spot, so no more art). I was so excited when it arrived and babied it as much as possible. As soon as I finished paying it off, I had left it to charge on the carpeted floor in my living room one night. My cat, who is only 9 lbs mind you, decided to walk over it while it was closed. Okay, its fine, that happened plenty of times with macbooks and my old laptop which lasted a long time. NOPE. Giant ugly crack covering a quarter of the screen. No chance of drawing with it unless I want shards going into my wrist. I bawled my eyes out to my boyfriend and tried to get a quote on repairs from Samsung support (they are awful btw; Apple has the upper hand in that regard). It would cost nearly as much to repair the screen as I paid for the laptop itself. They offered to help me pick out a new laptop. Yikes. I am still using the laptop as the digitizer is unaffected, just the glass was shattered. I have run into other issues with the trackpad being awkward. I have small hands and I still bump it with my wrist; I can't imagine being a guy using the keyboard comfortably. Why isn't there palm rejection ??? Also, on webpages I had an issue where the trackpad would get stuck scrolling down when I was using one finger. As well as another issue with the trackpad getting stuck and not "clicking" fully. Aside from that I do love how it runs. I love the display. I love the speakers. I loved the feel of drawing with it. I am so impressed by the battery/charging speed.... and how the bottom of the chassis doesn't really get hot at all even when charging and doing tasks. I do wish that that Fn lock would stay locked when the computer restarts. Their older models would remember the setting.

The Best Windows Laptop on the Market

Before I get into it, the colors of these devices online are not accurate. You should really see them for yourself in-person if you can. They're a lot nicer in normal lighting. Okay, I use a M1 Pro MacBook Pro for work, so I'm familiar with a lot of the ups and downs of Apple vs. Windows. That being said, the introduction of the 12th gen Intel processors was a huge concern for me. A lot of laptops using intel processors were basically loud fireballs that obliterated battery life. They maximized performance to keep up with Apple silicon, but didn't make anything noticeably more efficient in the process. Luckily, Samsung did their homework and made a lot of amazing tweaks under the hood to make the most out of these powerful 13th gen intel processors. Performance: There are different modes you can switch between with the push of a button on the keyboard. Each of which helps tailor the experience to meet your needs. I use a lot of demanding GIS software and it handles it beautifully, although the battery takes a significant hit. The fans will be going with moderate noise, but nothing out of the ordinary. When I am not doing intense work, I turn the processing mode down to reduce fan noise and heat. Thankfully, this laptop handles thermals very well. It can get warm under a heavy load, but never hot. In the lower gears, I rarely have the fans kick in. I sometimes even forget it has any until I get to a point where I have 20+ tabs open and working in several applications at once. Even then the fans are quiet and unobtrusive. Screen: The screen is perfect. Absolutely out of this word. I wish this OLED display was the standard. Much better than anything my MacBook Pro can produce. Just absolutely stunning. It's not only great to do graphic design work on with the 16" of real estate, but watching movies is thrilling to do. The addition of the 360 hinge and tough is really icing on the cake. Audio: is also very loud and deep, never tinny. The bass isnt as heavy as my MacBook pro, but it is not at all a dealbreaker. I think the MacBook pro speakers are the gold standard, and these would fall just below it. I still get an exciting experience watching movies and videos with audio coming from the device, it just needs to be sitting on a table to really get the most out of the speakers. Keyboard: I haven't had a laptop with a number pad in so long! It is truly a welcome addition. It's so hard to do most excel work without it and I don't think I can go back to using a device that doesn't have one. The key travel is a little shallow, but I mostly got used to it after a couple of days. My biggest complaint is the lack of media keys. Trackpad: The trackpad is HUGE. Maybe even too big at times, but it is to smooth to use. I am a power user who jumps between multiple applications and desktops using gestures and it handles them perfectly. The one downside is I have to reach pretty far down-left of the trackpad to register a left click. Which may not sound like a big deal, but it's a small ergonomic hit to my productivity. I end up unintentionally right clicking a lot. Battery: The battery last. from a full charge, about 6 hours (screen on). It's possible to a full 8 hours work day under minimal use, like typing up a document while listening to music. I know this may be a dealbreaker for some people, but I work from home so it isnt really a problem. Even when I go to the office, there are a lot of places to plug-in. The battery life makes it difficult to travel with, especially of you're access to an outlet is unreliable. Overall, the battery is average, but it was well worth the trade off of for the bright/vibrant screen and reliable performance. Though, I do have a bit of battery anxiety on the road. Overall: I genuinely love this laptop. It feels like the perfect device with very little compromise. It's powerful, sleek, vibrant, and downright a joy to use. If you're a Samsung tablet and phone user, there is even more to love as the ecosystem integration has moved up. Not on par with Apple, but definitely usable. I tend to enjoy my experience on this device over my MacBook Pro, which is a big accomplishment for any Windows device that isn't a Surface device (the gold standard for Windows devices). It's defiantly the closest Windows device on the market that really takes advantage of all Microsoft and Samsung have to offer and everyone wins because of it.

First of all Chris (Store Manager in Humble, TX) did an amazing job clearing up an online purchasing snafu. He and his team went above and beyond to make sure I got everything I needed... same day! Pros: 1.) It has the same feel and quality I have come to expect in a MacBook Pro. 2.) Setup and firmware updates completed quickly and without errors. 3.) To avoid getting into the technicalities, I will say it feels fast, very fast. 4.) The display delivered the beauty and sharpness I have come to expect in high-end OLED displays. 5.) It is very quiet. It has less perceivable fan noise than my MacBook Pro and Surface Pro. 6.) The Samsung proprietary software is not obtrusive or annoying in any way. It is there if I need it and most are very helpful (can't say that about their phones, but they are getting better). Cons: 1.) It is not available with a smaller screen. I dock mine at home and I prefer the mobility of smaller laptops. 2.) The accompanying S-Pen can't be used as a mouse. The button can't be used as a right-click as it can with the Surface PC's or if it can, it is not very intuitive. Price: It is at the upper end of the spectrum when it comes to hardware (except the graphics card), so it is not a bargain. It is an upgrade in look and feel from last year's model and the price reflects that. Support: Best Buy's support (Total Tech Program) has been amazing with my laptops so far. I usually buy from them if I can. With Samsung, I haven't had to use them yet. Best Buy has taken care of anything I needed "in-house." Bottom Line: I doubt most consumers would have any regrets about this purchase (including buyer's remorse as well). It does what is advertised, exceeds expectations in fit, finish, and feel, and the price is competitive.

I am in love with this laptop! After extensive research, I finally bit the bullet and bought this computer. It is fast, and the screen is incredible. Samsung has added functionality to Windows 11 and to an ecosystem that feels good. I have been a fan of Samsung Galaxy cell phones for about 10 years. The construction is solid like their cell phones. My only cons are: the finish shows fingerprints; the use of a micro SD Card for expansion; and the RAM is limited to 16GB. The positives are a Bright high-quality screen; huge trackpad; good battery life; very thin design; lightweight; very compact, but high wattage charging block; and a fast processor. My needs include Photoshop, Lightroom, and other graphic programs that need speed. I must say this is the best laptop I have ever owned. I must say, it is thinner and better constructed than an Apple laptop.

The Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 is a fantastic 2-in-1 Windows laptop that will let you do everything you need for your digital life. While you have limited hardware options, the Intel 13th gen CPU is fast for an ultra-light and super thin design and the 3K AMOLED display is simply amazing to view and use. While the 1TB SSD Storage is sufficient, you can upgrade it later if you like. The 16GB of RAM is probably the biggest constraint and unfortunately not something that can be upgraded and you can also attach fast external SSDs that will benefit from the Thunderbolt/USB-C connections. For heavy content or video editing, more RAM would've been welcome. Here's my main highlights: - The Book3 Pro is super thin and extremely high build quality. This device looks absolutely stunning and it is something that will turn heads on the airplane or at the coffee shop while you're working or playing on it. The Backlit keyboard is consistent and subtle and the keys themselves are very responsive. There's also a massive trackpad that allows you tons of control if you don't want to touch your screen with your fingers or use the S-pen. - The 3K AMOLED display is fantastic and also supports both finger touch along with the S-pen that is included. Surprisingly, the Book3 Ultra does not support the S-pen which is a really nice feature for editing or creating sketches, or taking notes. - Good connectivity options, including 2x USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 which is also used for power. There's also a standard USB3 A connector and a full-sized HDMI output, along with a 3.5mm minijack for headphones. And lastly, a microSD card slot to copy over photos and videos from your cameras or video recorders. All of this and the laptop is still super thin and sleek. - This laptop supports Quick Share with Samsung Galaxy phones where you can automatically sync your phone and laptop files, use your phone as a desktop extension or a "remote" control. It all works extremely well and makes sharing files between laptop and phone very simple. - The SSD is fast (Could be faster) and the WiFi also supports WiFi 6E or 802.11AXE. The spec sheet only says AX and I couldn't quite get 6E speeds (700-800MB/s) on my AXE routers, so this may be a discrepancy somewhere. Along with the Thunderbolt 4 this laptop has a lot of connectivity options. - Some of the best speakers I've ever heard on a laptop, these AKG speakers really pump out some sound and there's some smart placement on the curved bottom with dedicated grills. I did find some curious design and spec decisions that I thought could be improved upon. - 16GB RAM isn't quite enough to make this a great video editing or content creation device since you could be working with huge files and a browser alone can use up 6-8GB of RAM. Unfortunately you can't upgrade the RAM on these units because it is soldered to the board. If you want more RAM, like 32GB you need the Book3 Ultra, but that device doesn't support the S-pen or fold 360 or stand up like a tent. So you have limited options if you stay with the Book3 ecosystem. - The onboard SSD is fast and it supports PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives, however, they use a slower WD SN750 drive which is curious because Samsung makes some of the best NVMe drives on the market with the 980Pro or 990Pro. It just seems odd they would not only put forward their best foot product, but also use a competitor product that is slower. Speeds are about 5000MB/s max read/write instead of 7000MB/s for their own drives. - Unfortunately, nothing is a drop-in upgrade for RAM or SSD. I opened up the chassis carefully using a spudger which is only closed by 4 screws hidden under the rubber feet and there is no way to upgrade the RAM which is LPDDR5 and soldered onto the mainboard. There's only 1 NVMe SSD slot and it is being used by the default WD SN750 1TB. Previous versions had 2 slots (one 2240 and one 2280). - The Book3 Pro ships with Windows 11 Home instead of Pro, which kind of sucks if you want to bind to your domain, create a local admin account (without the Microsoft account) or encrypt your device with Bitlocker. You also need Pro to run HyperV/VMs but that's less important for most folks, just something to be aware of. - The edges of the 3K AMOLED screen appear to be curved as well.....not just rounded edges for Windows 11, but they are actually rounded like you'd see on a smartphone. Not sure I like that on an actual laptop. So far I haven't seen any Windows or GUI elements cut off because of it but still very weird. - The S-Pen magnet spot could be more pronounced or obvious. Maybe some kind of outline or divot on the body to make it more obvious. I found the strongest magnetic bond to the Pen to be on top of the screen near the edge and also on the bottom under the trackpad. So far I love the Book3 Pro, but it makes me wonder how much more useful that Ultra would be with a full Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU for gaming and the full Intel CPU rather than the low power edition. Then again my wife loves the S-pen and she wouldn't give that up for working on her photo edits for the kids, or doing drawings with the S-pen in Cricut Maker for the next arts and crafts project for the kids. Lately she's been using it in Tent mode playing Zelda BotW in preparation for Tears of the Kingdom and has her playthrough guide on the screen. She also uses it for the Kids homework lessons and class plans so she's really getting a lot of mileage out of it. Also, the fact it is USB-C charged makes it super convenient to charge using any USB-C plug of sufficient power output (35W I believe).

First off, I am a person who does hours and hours of research on a device before I make a purchase. While looking into computers/laptops, I was choosing a Windows based system. I understand MacBooks are the way to go, but I am a Galaxy User, so going for a device in that ecosystem does not make much sense for me. Anyways, while doing my research on a device, I was between three brands HP, Dell, or Samsung. Previously I have owned an HP Spectre x360 for 7 years and have been extremely pleased with the device. The build quality was incredible and I loved the touch screen. Assessing what I wanted this time around, I relooked at the HP Spectre series, the Dell XPS series, and the Galaxy Book 3 series. Looking at price point, Dell tends to be higher in price, so I decided to cross them off my list. I am sure the XPS laptop is beyond amazing, but just not within the price I was hoping to pay. Watching the sales, the price for the HP and Samsung were pretty similar. Luckily I found an Open-Box Samsung device bringing the price down to almost $1,100 for me. This was the main reason I jumped to purchase this device. The Open-Box review was "Excellent" and I must say, the device was brand new. Not one scratch, fingerprint, markup or anything. The staff was phenomenal and I appreciate their honesty. I have had this laptop now for a couple weeks and I must say I am truly impressed. I do some mild gaming, nothing that is too demanding, but mainly just use the laptop for surfing the web, streaming movies and videos, and checking emails. I went with the 360 version since I really did want the touchscreen. After having a touchscreen on my previous laptop, I did not want to go without one moving forward. Breaking down each component of the laptop: Performance: I have experienced no hiccups with any task. I am a person who keeps many tabs open and this computer does not slow down at all. Even with light gaming, it functions just incredible. Obviously the fans can kick on, but they are no louder than any other laptop on the market, I barely notice them. Screen: This screen is flawless. I have no words. From going from my old laptop to this one, was quite the transition. The touchscreen is obviously a plus and to my surprise, I am having no screen wobble. Many reviewers said this was an issue, but I guess I just got lucky with my hinges. Worst part of the touchscreen are the fingerprints, so just be prepared to clean them off. And the 120 Hz display is unreal, so much smoother than 60 Hz. Another reason I went for the Pro series instead of the regular Book 3. Audio: Good enough for a laptop. Honestly I always have my laptop connected to a speaker or headphones, so I hardly use the speakers. This system has quad speakers that all face downward, which makes the audio bounce back up to your ears. I have no complaints with the audio quality, but I will admit the MacBook does have a better overall sound quality. Keyboard: The keys are very shallow with little travel. I went to BestBuy multiple times to try out the laptops and type for a little bit on each laptop brand. I find this keys very soft to the touch though, making it a pleasure to type on. They are extremely quiet and provide a great feel. I do like having the number pad there, which I have no had much time to utilize. The keyboard is backlit, which looks amazing from the top side. Trackpad: This trackpad is a tad too large. The computer looks a bit strange just with how much surface the trackpad takes up. I will say it works very well though and is very smooth to the touch. I have not had any accidental touches or anything. It just seems a little unnecessary for the trackpad to be the size it is. Also I thought I wouldn't like the off-center trackpad, but honestly I don't even realize that it is off-centered, but I would still recommend going to your local BestBuy to test it out. Battery: The battery life is decent. I have been getting about eight to nine hours on a full battery with everyday use. The beautiful display is what kills the battery, but honestly I have no issues with the battery life. Obviously wish it was longer, so if that's what you want, you can always turn down the resolution or the screen brightness. Final Words: Overall, this laptop is amazing. Again, I am very pleased with the open-box price that I was able to get this for and how the entire process was handled at the store level. The laptop is expensive at it's regular price, so I would NEVER pay full price, but watch for a good sale. If you are looking for a similar laptop to the MacBook, I think this is your choice. It has the same feel and look as a MacBook, just runs Windows instead. The screen and performance are amazing and battery life is decent. The trackpad could be smaller and I wish the laptop itself did not track as many fingerprints on it. I would recommend the Beige Color choice if fingerprints bother you, it's pretty severe. All in all, I would recommend this product. I hope this review helped answer some questions. Just do your research, think about what you want in a laptop, and watch reviewers discuss the pros/cons.

I was looking at a Book 4 but this laptop went on sale and had great specs. I have a 13" Book 3 w/ 5G which also has AMOLED touch screen and can't beat the color gamut. I wanted a larger screen and this 16" fits my needs. The included S-Pen is a plus. Performance is top notch and I replaced the 1tb SSD to a 2tb one and it weights next to nothing. Too bad you can't add RAM or have a secondary SSD capability but overall it a great laptop.

This is my first experience using a Samsung laptop and clearly, I am surprised with the performance of this Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 2-in-1 16" large yet thin and lightweight laptop. In general, any laptop will meet the user experience in one or two categories, but this product caters to a variety of needs. The display type is OLED and I can see every minute detail in each picture. The picture quality is outstanding. Having 360 folding capabilities, use it as a traditional laptop to browse or do other day-to-day jobs OR fold it as a tablet for artistic jobs like painting, artistic jobs, or editing pictures. What’s more, it is a touch screen too, and the provided Stylus pen makes picture editing and/or painting as precise as it gets using a regular pencil. The big screen is a bonus that is an add-on for each of these activities. People like me who are always on the move and have to work using public networks are always worried about vulnerabilities and security threats but with this advanced Galaxy Book security along with layers of hardware keeps my data and information secured. I also have lots of options on the available ports and do not need to carry those multiple adapters to support my day-to-day tasks. It has Thunderbolt 4, USB C, micro SD slot, and regular USB that helps to connect to a bigger screen or use my additional storage device. I am never running out of available ports. No modern-day device can be considered complete without the mention of the quality of the camera. It has a Full HD camera with amazing high resolution and the AKG speakers add to the audio quality to provide a superb audio experience. Although it has 1 TB of built-in storage and easily meets my current needs but with ever-changing storage requirements, I wish I had the option to extend the hard disk storage. However, this can be overcome by using expandable storage using an SD card. Overall, the laptop’s appearance is of premium quality and ticks all the checkboxes to buy this piece.

I purchased this unit for my work. I have a desktop in the office, but I spend a lot of time away from the office and wanted something light, but powerful, to keep me productive while in other areas. Overall, this is a fantastic computer with lots of options. Display: The display on this is beautiful. That's the only word I can use. The blacks are black, it is crisp, it looks just fanstastic. I am getting on in years, and the crispness of the screen really helps me out in being able to see quickly what is in front of me. Performance: The performance of this laptop is really good. However, this is where I'll make my one complaint. I had the setting set on balanced so I could work longer without being connected to a power supply. I have to admit that I was a bit taken back by how little time I had. I was expecting 6 to 8 hours of good productivity, but not to be. If I set the battery on eco mode, then I had 6 hours. But, on eco-mode, you sacrifice brightness, power, etc. While it was enough to get me by, I didn't just want to get by. I wanted to have that bright screen and the quick responses. So, in this category, you have to compromise. If you want that bright screen and the great response that you can have from an i7 processor with pretty good speed, then you have to be connected to a power supply for anything over a couple of hours. Keyboard: The keyboard is pretty responsive. It is comfortable and works quite well for what it is supposed to do. Mousepad: This is large. It is also very responsive. You might have to actually go in and reduce it's responsiveness. When I was in a vehicle with motion (bumps and such), I accidentally hit the double click several times. Overall, I really enjoy this laptop. I love the screen, it is fast and responsive, I like being able to turn it into a tablet when needed and it is very light. The only drawback, is the battery life. I would have really liked to have seen better battery life. But, I'll just turn on the eco mode and get by when I need it for longer periods of time without a plug. Most of the time, you'll be just fine.
