The laptop itself is awesome. But the RAM architecture still limits the potencial of this laptop. There is limited programs you can run with this laptops. On the other hand battery life is just what they advertise. If you just need a good laptop for school, this is perfect.

I bought this for photo editing and work on the go. I am very pleased with the fact that my samsung phone and tablet all sync together much like a macbook. To my surprise there is a display setting specifically for "photo editing" which is perfectly accurate across my devices! Battery life varies on what program im using, but can easily get 12 hours by just surfing the web, emails, and a small edit here and there. If I'm editing a whole session, it will drain the battery in about 4 hours. Not too bad for being so thin!

Build quality & Samsung apps are great. I only need a few apps to run. But the most important ones don't work. Mail app can receive not send. 2-step verification that requires receiving code from some service won't show so activation cannot accomplish. Printers work but certain function such as duplex printing won't work since no drivers. Among a dozen hubs, only one work (Sabrent HB-6PNV). There is NO mount function for ISO file. I wanted to install a fresh copy of different Windows but NO drivers available from Samsung website. At the end, after some 30 hours seeking alternate paths, I gave up. Well, so sad. New wonderful hardware but lacking app support.

I am very impressed with the quailty of this laptop. It is super light very thin. Alot thinner then a macbook. The snapdragon processor is amazing. It has no problem with multitasking. When I say this is the best it is!

So...I have never been teased by a laptop before. This is an incredibly gorgeous, stunning, head turning, and light laptop. All the things you want and Samsung got it right. Until it wasn't. The incorporation of the Snapdragon X Elite here is incomplete. I cannot believe that for such a robust chipset with such an incredible laptop I found myself dreading to use it. The laptop became incredibly hot, and I mean HOT. I would run normal office stuff, with some Chrome tabs open, but when I would launch YouTube, skype or Slack...forget it. I could see the battery draining. To give some perspective, I took a 30 minute break leaving everything I had open, but closing the lid.....I came back and the laptop had lost 8% battery without me using it. I found myself reaching 18% by lunch. That makes it for me unusable as I travel a lot and not always near a charger. I believe the Snapdragon X Elite is efficient and powerful, but Samsung has not tuned it to their build. Its a waste as I know Microsoft and others are faring far better with lower SOCs levels. I know that arm64 has issues with the new chipset, but this is not good. To fix this I bought a Microsoft Surface 7 with the Snapdragon X Plus (lowest chipset) and 512G RAM and with even more intense usage I reached above 60% by lunch. That says something. Because of this I had to return it. Extreme heat and poor battery life. Sorry Samsung, maybe next time.

Salutations MarioD, thanks for taking the opportunity to review your Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge. Your feedback allows us to remain committed to constant innovation as we strive to improve the design and functionality of our product line. Our goal is for our customers to feel like they are having the most marvelous experiences when using our products. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. All Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. Although your Galaxy devices may get warm sometimes, they have built-in safeguards to alert you and protect themselves if their temperature exceeds the normal operating range. Take a moment to review, "Keep your Galaxy device at its normal operating temperature" to learn more about the factors that may affect your device's temperature. If the battery just doesn't feel like it lasts that long anymore, don't lose hope. A function called Smart Battery Calibration can help reset your battery's performance and recalibrate its minimum and maximum charge so you can keep using it to its current maximum capacity. Also check out, "Reduced battery life on Samsung PC" to help resolve what you may be experiencing with your PC. If you would like any further assistance after reviewing the resources provided, let us know by contacting Samsung Support at your leisure. excellent - great screen, good keyboard, and trackpad. The OLED screen makes videos, games come alive. Great contrast with deep blacks, and vibrant colors. The snapdragon processor draws less power, so battery life is also excellent. Processor still performs well - can even run lower level games, along with all usual tasks.

    Snapdragon can't run games

I had my last laptop for almost a decade. I mostly use laptops for work (office, zoom etc) but I have a big steam library and sometimes the games work better on a pc than my steam deck. I was very surprised that although the snapdragon processor looked competitive on paper, it's mostly used to process Ai. I have a program to tell me if a game will run on my pc and it has no data on snapdragon. I watched a video review for snapdragon and it looks like it can play games from about 15 years ago. I should have done more research but playing games isn't the main reason I needed a new laptop. I assumed that a newer pc with a newer processor would be able to handle a few more games but I guess not. I got a pretty good deal on it and it does all the stuff I need. I don't care about AI though. Hope this helps someone else. Seems to have a shorter battery life too. That might just be Windows 11 which has lots of ads and pop-ups.

Battery life is absolutely ABYSMAL! This laptop is advertised to have 18 hours of battery life but it barely squeaks out 3-4 hours of light use with energy saver turned on! NOTE: Some apps are NOT compatible with ARM/Snapdragon processors which is a real bummer! This laptop has a nice, crisp screen and I appreciate the small and thin size. It's moderately fast.

The fan is usually quiet or off, and the temperature remains cool. Additionally, the screen is clear, and the battery life is impressively long. If you set it up correctly and your daily apps run without compatibility issues, this would be an ideal purchase for you.

Only 2 usb c (also power ports) and 1 hdmi input Usb c to battery connection failed almost immediately. I get the dreaded Zero battery screen and multiple resets. Sending it to Samsung, but first blush reaction is that I bought a fragile device. I wish it had an sd port or usb A as well. I'm regretting this purchase. Functionally, it's a laptop....

Did my research before buying laptop. I've had it for a couple of months. I use it for school and work. It has a nice display in a good size screen. It holds a nice battery life but if you use your laptop often throughout the day, it will hold a full day
