I absolutely love this computer. It’s genuinely the best google product I have owned. Its a all in one kind of device. I can watch tv and play games. I can complete a homework assignment and take a break using the google app store to play temple run.

The 360 feature is the best--especially when I want to move from the desk to the sofa or from the laptop version to the tablet version. The keyboard is disabled in tablet form which is great. The only thing I would change is the volume level which is not too high and I would also make the camera reverse instead of just face one way. Great for watching movies and YouTube. I also like to pause the videos I'm watching and answer emails and get other work done, then go back to watching the video.

Samsung Chromebook 2 360 is a nice little Chromebook that gets the job done. For schooling needs, this Chromebook 2 360 is first of all lightweight enough to carry around with you for the Majority of the day. Considering that you can also use it in tablet mode that doesn’t weigh you down.
The design is very nice and feels durable in the hands. Silver and black work well with the design of the laptop. Samsung Logo laced in silver trim and the colorful Chromebook logo on board. I like the way it looks honestly and it feels super good to type on with keystrokes. Nice and clicky that indicates the response. The touchpad feels fine with decent feeling clicks and scrolling. Not my favorite touchpad in the world though. The keyboard is spill-resistant and again this device will keep up with durability.
The gorgeous screen size is 12.4 inches @ 2560x1600 and it looks phenomenal, especially for working or schooling. The 16:10 display as usual looks fantastic when web surfing on this device. The screen itself gets extremely bright so you definitely can work on the go in daylight. They aren’t lying when they say it’s dazzling. Brightness goes up to 350 nits. The best thing about the Galaxy Chromebook 2 360 is the display. Especially using it in tablet mode as the bezels and very thin around. It is a touchscreen.
Storage is at 128GBs with a Micro SD card slot on the side of the device. Also on ports on the device is 2x USB Type C ports and a 1xUSB Type-A port. Used one of the USB-C ports to connect a display and it worked just fine. The lack of HDMI for school projects is a miss but USB-C to me makes up for it. Bluetooth and Wifi 6 are on board and the Wifi is very speedy on here jumping right into things on the internet. Oh, and a headphone jack is on board the device.
Battery life is GOOD. It did keep up with me for the 6-8 hours. Turning up the brightness will bring those hours down but using at mid brightness was fine. Charges up extremely fast as well so I could just keep going. The camera was just ok and it works well @ 720p. It’s not outstanding and not much to talk about but it is here.
It’s a 2 in 1 so you have the variations of standing modes: Laptop mode, Tent Mode, Tablet Mode, and Presentation mode. All did just fine on a table. I will say the sound also is just ok, Good enough to hear but I wouldn’t get my hopes up if you are expecting better than expected sound. I wasn’t able to test some of the Galaxy ecosystem features that are on this device like nearby sharing and or Phone hub as I using iOS but I have used Android devices before and they should work fine with these features. Gives you the ability to text or turn on the hotspot data from the Galaxy Chromebook.
Some of the things I don’t enjoy about The Galaxy Chromebook 2 360; No backlight keyboard on this one and that’s a shame because it would have benefited from having one. Long nights studying when the lights are off would have been a nice touch.
Also, we need to talk about the performance of the device because I don’t consider it that speedy at all. It will do tasks great such as browsing the web, Shopping, YouTube, Studying research, listening to music, and things of that nature. But the Intel Celeron N4500 processor seems to just struggle with the 4GB a bit. Maybe it’s just me but tablet mode is still a little jarring switching rotation. And playing tablet games hitches every now and then depending on how graphically intensive it may be. I understand it’s not designed for that so I won’t fault it. More performance would still be desired.
Pricing is also maybe a problem for some seeing how you can get other types of machines similarly priced But for a Chromebook I feel it’s right where it needs to be. Samsung made a nice Chromebook I can see being used for homework and such. It’s Samsung's efforts into doing a 2 in 1 Chromebooks and I don’t think anyone looking for this would be disappointed. ChromeOS for the most part runs smooth but wished it just had more than 4GB of Ram.
This is a perfect laptop device if you need a Chromebook going forward, especially for students. While it seems a little “basic” for Samsung it’s honestly a good device. The Galaxy Chromebook 2 360 isn’t the fastest at all but it’s good and it gives you the 2 in 1 form factor someone may need or enjoy. I would recommend it to a friend or family member who would be looking for a Chromebook. Great device.

I'm liking this chromebook a lot. It feels very sturdy (don't know if its all made of aluminun but it certainly feels like so) and compact. They include a charger with a type C Usb cable with it. Setup was a breeze, if you have already a google (gmail) account, you just sign up with it and enter your credentials. In my case, it downloaded some apps I already had on my phone. Chrome OS is fast and light. Has a lot of apps that are native, however you can also download apps from the Play store that are designed for phones and/or tablets and most work fine. It will ask you if you want to open those apps in phone or tablet mode. I choose most of them in tablet mode, as this laptop can convert to a tablet, just by turning the keyboard all the way to the back, as soon as it detects it moves all the way (has hinges, the keyboard is non detachable) it will engage tablet mode (the screen is touch sensitive). As a tablet, I must say it's useable, but its a little heavy (due the keyboard and the hefty battery, which I must mention, on a light use, it lasted me around 8 to 10 hours, with heavy use, like watching videos etc, around 6 to 8 hours).
Using it on a regular basis for productivity (very nice for a soho or a student) its very snappy and responsive. The only time I felt like it was lagging a little bit was when I was installing multiple apps at the same time, but that was just at that time. The screen is large, bright and the colors are vibrant, really liked it to watch Youtube on the go! The keyboard is very useable, the only con is that is not backlit, but when using it at night I turned it into tablet mode and I could use the on screen keyboard.
In terms of IO, it has 2 Type C USB ports (you can charge it with one of them), one Type A USB superspeed port, a Micro SD reader and a Kensington lock. There is a volume rocker and a power switch. There is also a mini jack for headphones. Very simple and plenty of ports.
I highly recommend this Chromebook for students and for a small office at home, you can get productive with it enjoying the Google ecosystem.

This new Samsung Galaxy 2 in 1 chromebook is perfect for school, pretty basic laptop/ tablet very light (2.82 pounds), battery last long hours as expected, the best feature is flipping to the 360 hinge tent mode to use the laptop like you would use a tablet. The intel celeron processor with a 2.8 gigahertz it’s pretty fast ,the 12.4 touch screen has a Crystal clear HD display. Chrome OS system operating system works great on this small laptop, perfect for school or travel, good 720p facing camera with built in microphone, fast wifi connection, Bluetooth connection and headphone Jack, the speakers ( 2) are located on the bottom of the laptop and they’re not that loud There’s three USB ports one type A and two type Cand it also has a media card reader. 128GB storage it’s great storage space for school files, work files, music, videos or apps. The only downside is there’s no backlit keyboard if you use the laptop in the dark and wants to use the laptop instead of flipping it to tablet, other than that it’s a great compact laptop/ tablet to care around.

I just received this Chromebook today. I have had every Samsung Chromebook since the Chromebook Plus in 2016. First impressions: The Celeron N4500 is much smoother than I anticipated, I am zipping through 6 open windows while listening to Youtube Music. I am impressed. The 340 nits of brightness on this screen are superb, in usual Samsung fashion the screen is high end. I love the fact that there is no fan and this unit is as quiet as can be. Great typing experience so far. The bezels are not the smallest I have seen but they are not too big either. The 16:10 aspect ratio is a pleasure to use. I loved my Galaxy Chromebook 2 but the 16:9 aspect ratio was getting old! Battery life I can't comment on yet but with a power sipping N4500 I expect it to get 9-10 hours with ease. This device is light and looks nice with the silver outside and black keyboard. The touch pad has a nice and smooth feel to it by the way. A better feel than on some more expensive devices. Overall I am very happy with my purchase so far. Great job Samsung!!

This is a Great Chromebook for students. At first hand it looked kinda cheap to me. Very “plastic”if that makes sense. For $450 it should feel somewhat expensive. Anyway, the set up was easy and I had no issues. It connected right away with my WIFI. It runs pretty smooth. The keyboard to me it feels surprisingly satisfying and very precise. The touchscreen navigation was on point and easy to Maneuver around. The screen resolution is crystal clear making it enjoyable to watch movies or youtube videos. Battery life is amazing and will hold up for several hours. It also charges really quick. This chromebook has 2 type C ports one USB and one earphone jack. It also has an micro sd card port. It already has 128GB so there’s plenty of storage for all your needs. The sound quality is ok. Speakers don’t get super loud. But it does the job. This chromobook has the ability to turn into Tablet mode. Overall this is a great Laptop for a student. The price seems a bit high for me since I do feel this is a basic laptop.

I bought this Chromebook for my university studies, and it has been an excellent investment. It’s lightweight, easy to carry in my backpack, and the battery lasts all day, which is perfect for not worrying about finding an outlet between classes. It runs fast, handles multiple tabs without any issues, and is ideal for taking notes, doing research, and working on Google Docs. Plus, the operating system is intuitive and syncs perfectly with all my study tools in Google. I highly recommend this Chromebook to any student who needs an efficient and affordable laptop.

Beautiful screen, fast, excellent battery life and built to withstand drops and backback life, this is an excellent Chromebook to get vs larger 14 and 15 inch laptops. I increased virtual ram to 2GB which helps when using larger applications which require more ram. This is my on-the-go and everyday use laptop.

Bigger than a phone, smaller than a laptop

Bigger than a phone, smaller than a laptop. This Samsung Chromebook is a nice in between.
It's 12.4" LCD screen is a good size for working on documents or canvas. Small enough to be portable. It's light and thin for carrying.
The Chromebook powers on automatically when opened and shuts down when closed. If using in tablet mode there is a power button on the side.
It uses USB-C for fast charging and a fully charged battery lasts up to 10 hrs. depending on your settings.
If you already use Google, your apps will show up once you sign into your Google account. This connects your android phone to the Chromebook. Once connected you can use your phone to unlock your Chromebook instead of entering your sign in credentials each time. It also syncs up to any other Google devices you may have in your home and includes voice match if you have already set it up. If not, it can easily be set up for voice control.
Flipping into tablet mode, the hinges feel solid and durable. You have the options of using the on screen keyboard or using a stylus. The touchscreen is not as responsive to my fingers or a stylus as my phone or other laptops that I have are. I have had trouble getting it to respond at times, mostly when trying to close tabs.
There was no S Pen included so I use a basic, generic stylus that I already had and it works fine.
There is 128GB of storage and since you can move across devices that should be plenty for getting things done on the go.
I haven't run into any problems streaming video, playing basic app games or browsing. No lags or buffering.
This is not a powerhouse computer. It's not meant to be. It is a convenient, durable, lightweight, portable Google docs/Android notebook that is larger than your phone, smaller than a laptop. If that is what you need, this is a good choice.
