I was not planning to upgrade from my Note 9, but when I stopped into my local Best Buy and saw the trade-in promotion, I could not pass it up. First, the Aura White color is amazing - it is not a flat white, but not as shiny as the Aura Glow. It makes the phone look very modern and sophisticated. The screen's colors pop even more than my Note 9 (especially once the highly-scratch-prone plastic screen protector is removed). I do not find the camera placement or lack of a phone jack to be bothersome. I also find this fits better in my pocket and hand than my Note 9. Using this one-handed has been a breeze. The fingerprint sensor is fine once you get used to it. I appreciate Samsung moving it to the front, because I feel it helps prevent an accidental drop from trying to stretch your finger on the back sensor, and this can also be done with one hand. What made me decide to buy it, however, was the dedicated camera night mode. I always found shooting at night a challenge, even though the Notes I've had before took really good pictues. No more! It does amazingly well. I really like how Samsung upgraded the camera and lens - now the flash is stronger and pictures come out even sharper. The photos in my review were taken between last month and yesterday. If there is one caveat, it would be to keep it away from heavy items: I have already had the screen replaced because unbeknownst to me, it was positioned under a glass bottle that fell on top of it. However, instead of shattering into tiny pieces, it formed a hole that turned the glass to powder (which made it easy to clean up).

There are too many features to go over. Just the camera(s) alone would take three pages. The phone is amazing. I love how easy it is to switch between the three wide angle cameras on the rear. Zooming in while recording a video also causes the phone to increase the volume of the sound coming from the object you're recording, not the surrounding noise. As a small business owner, one of my favorite features is the ability to scan documents through Bixby Vision. Being able to select anything save it is great too using the S pen. Also the Bixby button can be remapped as a power button very easily in the options. Speaking of power, the Battery life is amazing. All day usage, and you can even charge other devices by turning on Wireless PowerShare (great for when you're friend's iPhone 8 and up runs out of battery) I had seen a lot of people complaining that the Note 10+ didn't swipe as fast as the Nexus or the latest OnePlus. This was due to it playing an animation with each swipe, so by turning off animation in the settings, my Note 10+ became extremely crisp and responsive. Overall I give the Galaxy Note 10+ a rating of 5/5 stars. Samsung is using the best technology out there to give you the best phone possible without making any sacrifices. This is the best phone on the market. The price is a little high at around $1,200, but worth it (I've included a picture with the camera in 'Food mode' and one in Live Focus)

I had a Note 8 and wasn't sure if I really wanted to upgrade yet, or questioning the big size of the 6.8" display. I went into Best Buy and looked at the one on display and fell in love the minute I picked it up. Suprisingly, it seems lighter than my Note 8, it is thinner despite the bigger display. I love the display and I have larger hands, so it felt comfortable in my hand. I did, however purchase a PopSocket and it works great for added stability. The performance is much faster than my Note 8 and I like the fact that it has a memory card slot. I never used the earphones, so I don't miss them, but I do use the S pen. The added air gestures is a big plus. It has better sound, display, performance, battery life, camera and probably more. I will most likely learn how many after I've had a good chance to play with the phone. I purchased an unlocked in Aura Blue. It is an amazing color. I put a clear case on it so as not to hide its beauty. I was very happy with the battery and I had 79% left at the end of one day. The camera takes very good portrait shots, I have not yet taken a video. Overall, I think this was worth upgrading from a Note 8. I love it and do not regret making the move.

Side Note: This review is meant for Note 10+ OPEN BOX-Excellent condition. The phone itself is fantastic I must say, but I am particularly disappointed on how poorly the Note 10+ was packaged. I am paying premium price for the phone and did not receive premium packaging. Manual was dirty phone had a couple scratched even though it was described as Excellent. I had to return the phone and bought a whole new Note 10+ and was charged $35 restocking fee. Buyer Beware regarding open box conditions. YMMV in my opinion when it shouldn't be like that for a high priced phone. Sad...

Everything I expect out of a Note!

I purchased an unlocked Galaxy Note 10+ at full retail price shortly after they were available in stores. I did a fair amount of my own research prior to purchasing, but as a previous owner of two other Samsung Galaxy Note phones, I was looking forward to again returning to a platform that I’ve really loved in the past. There are 5 major components to any smartphone that should be considered as part of any review. Here is a quick recap of those components for the Note 10+. Design: Samsung has been driving the “Infinity Edge” display on its Note and S-series phones for the last few years, which has a very distinct cosmetic presentation on the Note 10+. With a full glass front and back that wrap to the sides of the phone, separated by a small strip of stainless steel, this phone reeks of high-class and expensive-looking design cues. Near-flat tops and bottoms with softer, rounded edges make it a very comfortable phone to hold, but keep in mind that’s only when it doesn’t have a case on it (which, by the way, you’ll want to have at least one at regular access unless you like flushing money down the toilet). It is a truly beautiful phone, and the Aura Glow color is so much more compelling in person than it is in any picture or video you may have see online. Get to the store and see one of these for yourself. Performance: The Note 10+ has a high end processor (not the newest, but close enough) paired with 12GB of RAM. The processor is expected—but the RAM, well, 12GB is a lot…it’s more than many home and work computers that are widely used today. And, it’s only a phone. So, to say that this phone CRUISES through normal tasks is an under statement. Another key component of performance for smart phones come in the area of security and accessibility: how easily, quickly and securely can you unlock your phone? Samsung brings the in-screen fingerprint sensor from the S10, and it performs well, although is far from snappy when compared to a traditional fingerprint sensor. I registered the same finger multiple times in the settings which definitely improves the rate of success. And finally, you can’t talk about the Note without talking about the S-Pen. Some gestures have been added that allow for basic navigation of photos and videos, as well as some interesting gimmicks inside the camera; and while these gestures are really cool, they aren’t particularly useful beyond party tricks. Otherwise, it’s the same old S-Pen—and that shouldn’t be read as a negative statement; it is a great tool and truly a unique component of this phone. Screen: It’s big. It’s beautiful. It’s bright. And, it doesn’t destroy the battery (more on that later). If you don’t like curved screen edges, you probably won’t be happy with it—otherwise, there is very little, if anything, to complain about. You may not like the pin hole camera, but as with any other notch (rain drop, “George Jefferson,” pin hole, or offset oval), you tend to adjust to it relatively quickly, and it disappears into the background in most apps. Camera: Samsung, Google and Apple always make up the widely-accepted “top 3” cameras in the cell phone industry, and the Note’s camera is no exception to this tendency. Of course, image quality has a significant subjective component, but the images produced by the Note’s camera system are sharp and clean. The settings also offer a lot of customization to shutter speed, ISO and white balance, so even amateur photographers should be content with the options. Battery: This battery is an absolute beast. With limited use, I can get nearly two days between charges, and the included fast charger tops up the battery very quickly. Add wireless charging AND reverse wireless charging, you’ve got an amazing battery setup on the Note. Wrapping this up—this phone is stellar in every category, but it comes at a price—$1100 for the base model. Whether or not that $1100 is worth the cost is largely subjective, however, I have no hesitation in recommending this phone if it’s in your budget.

Having seen the unpacked event my curiosity was peaked. Headphone jack missing was a bummer not deal breaker since I prefer wireless headphones due to convenience. As soon as I found out Best Buy had display models went to my nearest Best Buy. Right of the bat the display left a big impression. Even though I was using a One Plus 7 Pro and for the moment I thought it had the best mobile display to date here comes the Note 10 screen. What struck me was how crisp the screen was. Watching 4K YouTube videos won me over. Kudos to Samsung on improving the screen. Not only that I also prefer the subtle corners compared to the S10 and One Plus 7 Pro. Another stand out feature is the design. Let's just it scream luxury and while being on the light side. The front with very minimal bezels steals the show while back is so much better looking with the vertical camera setup. As for colors the Aura glow stands out with those multiple colors but for me the blue was nicer. Only drawback was the 512gb option only available in black. Samsung cameras are known to be good quality up there with iPhone and Pixel devices. Since it's sporting the same excellent camera system from the S10 pictures come out looking good. Video is recording is top notch up there with the iPhone XS. Battery life has been good SOT has been over 4 1/2 overs no complains there. Unfortunately expandable storage is only available on the Plus model. Besides the expendable storage screen size is also different between the regular Note 10 and Plus model. As for camera they're almost the same with smaller Note missing the depth sensor. Overall is a power house phone that allows you to be productive. From taking quick notes that are organized in the background with a search button, to the big hdr 10+ display that makes it the ultimate mobile content consumption device or gaming device. This year Note 10 Plus might not seem much of an upgrade on paper but in person you might end with a change of mind. Amazing hardware complimented by near polish software providing a smooth experience. So far I'm very satisfied that I upgraded.

Traded in my s10 plus last Wednesday for it and it was definitely worth it. Jeremiah at my local store in Florida helped me with the trade in process, data transfer, warranty transfer and setup of the note 10, great experience in store and days afterward with the phone. pros: s pen lots of storage very fast and doesn't lag super fast charging high resolution display great cameras fast storage and data transfer bluetooth 5 provides more stable connection cons: s pen can get slippery price is a bit steep, but worth it if you have a trade in/upgrade program through samsung or your carrier would have been nice to see a 120hz or 90hz display

I've used the Note series from Samsung since the note 5, and I don't think I can go back. The cameras, the build, everything is great. The display is obviously great, it's what everyone loves about Samsung devices. The Spen is better than it used to be, and the battery life is great. I can easily get 2 days out of my phone with a screen resolution of 1080p and moderate use. The price is high, but if your shopping for phones at in this bracket, you won't be disappointed. The only gripe is I wish Samsung would include a gelskin case in the box, like they do with their lower prices phones. If you buy a S10 like, or the A series phones most of them come with a case. It would be nice to see that with their higher end devices too considering the $1000 price point.

I upgraded from the Note 8 about 3 weeks ago. This is already my favorite experience with a phone I've ever had. The size, the stylus, the camera and most of all the battery life... I'm very impressed! The only feature that I'm not totally sold on is the in-screen finger print reader. I'm finding that it doesn't work as well as the dedicated readers built in to other Samsung phones I've owned. I've read that some people have better luck after removing the pre-installed screen protector, but this phone was so expensive that I'd rather keep it protected. Luckily with the trade in offer I didn't have to pay full price, but even with a trade in it's still quite pricey. I love the look and feel of the phone without a case but because of the price I do keep a clear case on it at all times. If you can afford it, there's not really any other phone to consider. 5 stars!

The Galaxy Note10+ is a beauty to both look at and use. I love the color of the outside, it changes colors, it glimmers! Also, I love the S Pen and the many possibilities it opens up, from writing handwritten notes on your phone, to serving as a remote shutter for taking photographs. I am a professional photographer and in my opinon the camera on the Galaxy Note 10+ is incredible and performs really well under low light situations. The colors remain rich and vibrant despite the lighting situations and I am able to take great photos with it regardless of the time of day. The camera has many features that allow you to have complete control over your photographs including one of my favorites, Pro Mode, where you can manually adjust the ISO, aperture and shutter speed. Also, the screen on the Note 10+ goes all the way to the edges of the phone, giving you a larger screen. This phone is perfection.

I made this purchase because I needed a phone that would help me run my business from day-to-day. I was looking for one that had a great camera for my website photos, could easily work with my Square reader, and had the storage capacity to handle all of my files. The Note 10+ was a great choice and I'm happy with my decision to get it. Few things that slightly irk me: 1. Every once in awhile the screen will freeze. I'm not sure if this is due to user error, or something else entirely, but it's not enough to cause me to hate it. 2. It's big, really big. It fits in the back pocket of my jeans, however I wouldn't feel safe to carry it that way. 3. The high price tag. Its definitely worth it, if you can afford it, but if you're anything like me you'll be constantly worried about breaking it. Other than those personal irks, it's a wonderful phone that has taken my business to the next level. Plus, all your friends will be super jealous for like a minute. Worth it.
